Hot (Coffee) Tip
If you're out and about in BKK perhaps elsewhere and need a coffee many 711s have coffee making machines that churn out an absolutely acceptable b25-35 Cafe Americano on the strong side. For 7 I was truly impressed.
I agree on the taste, but the portion is small. At least when I tried it; small cup barely over half full. I'm used to drinking about 20 to 24oz every morning.

Amazon Americano (black) when out, Mocconno Espresso Instant (not 3 in 1), when at home. I like Amazon much more than Starbucks, and I'm American.
For an instant, the Mocconno is good. And I actually like it better heated in the cup in the microwave vs adding hot water to a cup.
I'd probably use an Espresso machine if I wasn't in a small condo, but I like the instant even more than Starbucks and it's cheap. About 200 baht for a jar that lasts about a month; 2 big cups daily.

Not sure if she's taking customers, but this shop next to the urban realty is open every day. Never had a massage myself.

I am not sure how long you have been 20 kg overweight, but risk of coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes, liver impairment, non of which may kill you quickly, but lead to a slow, lingering, dependent, "life"including incontinence, inability to communicate, would concern me more, than death quickly.
Well I did correct that immediately to 10 kg, but I'm sure it's immaterial at this point. I outlived Steve Jobs, and millions of younger, 'healthy' people, so I'm good with that.

Lots of people talking about "herd immunity" these days. The very people who would have no clue about herds or immunity, six months ago. Is that big in YouTube videos, Alex Jones or QAnon conspiracy sites now?! Just Curious.
CheersObese is like 10kg overweight, so yeah obese.
I started this poll because I actually thought there were more retirees that thought the way I did; boy was I wrong. About half of us over 60, so I'm not totally alone.
How anyone sees having an extended police state period just to save a million worldwide deaths at the expense of 7.5billion, I don't get. But I've never been afraid of dieing even at a young age; it's part of life. Of course I've taken precautions throughout my life to avoid death, but nothing that prevented LIVING and being FREE.
Now let me get back to my flat-earth video while 5G cooks my chromosomes. Of course 2 things obviously fake, but if it makes the lefties feel better putting me in that box, so be it.

And that is with the restrictions in place. Try and think how many deaths there would be if there were no restrictions in place. How many people are prepared to let die just so you can keep your “freedoms”. Honestly I have never seen such vile behaviour. Also from reading All your posts on this it is clear that you have no comprehension how serious this is. I am sure to prove me right you will now post figures about the flu again.
Defining freedom as a vile behavior. You've been brainwashed already comrade.

Thai banks aren't insured, unless you have personal liability insurance. It's not like the US where all deposits are insured by the FDIC for the first 200K.
Wrong, Thai bank accounts are insured for 5m baht by the government. Same as in the US.
And the US is $250k.

Yes I have seen fumbled stumbled and pontificated and bluffed and blustered.
Oh not to mention denial, blame, failing to take responsibility, and allowed several thousand to die.
Well if you're going to blame him for deaths then you have to credit him for lives. 350m still living. (This is where you say "not for long")

You didn't and another knowledgeable poster didn't either.
Your link specifies manipulated virus. In other words, they don't think it was genetically modified in a lab. But the new, most likely scenario is that it was extracted/escaped from the lab in it's natural state.
Makes much more sense and believability than jumping critters in a wet market only 10 miles away. We'll probably never know as they're probably changing the lab's active employee list as I type this.

you'll take your chances? Great. What a brave warrior you are. While you are taking your chances, you are spreading the disease on to others, without even knowing you have it. It's not about YOU and only YOU, it's about other human beings too. Be a decent human being and go hibernate and cover yourself. Don't be a jerk. If everyone is sick, hospitals are so not ready for the amount of people that need treatment. Is that what you want?
You are contagious with the common flu about 2 weeks. In about 50 years of work life, I never knew anyone taking more than a couple days off work. So spreading flu for those other days. Were they not 'decent human beings'? People die from the flu.
I will be helping spread immunity to achieve herd immunity. You can hibernate or wear a bubble if you want, as can anyone else. Your life, your choice. Scary huh.

To call the Beatles mods is hilarious. Nothing about them was remotely mod.
I rode a Triumph and liked the Beatles. In America though, so maybe I was a Mod. ????

the fact that he made a new abbreviation that is totally unnecessary explains his state of mind..... I wasn't even aware that you can group people into "Social Distancer" and "forced/non-Social Distancer".... cause I call the second one egoistic a-holes. Seems like protecting oneself, protecting others and being considerate in general doesn't make sense to OP.....
Really? I'll ask you the same question.
The common flu causes death. Did you cover up prior to covid-19? If you didn't and you were near other people while contagious, you could've killed someone.

Are we not all forced to keep our distances to avoid getting infected or infecting someone else?
It seems most of us do it because it makes sense. Is that different for you?
I believe in personal responsibility. If you want to cover up or hibernate for fear of infection, up to you. I'll take my chances.

I will say this. If a Democrat wins the Whitehouse in 2020 I will go back to being silent. Because unlike the libs, I will respect the voter's choice. I remained silent while Obama was messing up the country, and knew only voting would change things.
I actually think that if a Dem does win, the lefties will not stop their whining. They'll try to out-cancel culture each other for not being woke enough. Can't wait for the show. Reddit will be a mess.

Here's a good example of why the founding fathers designed the Electoral College. Say your neighborhood has 10 houses and everyone wants to build swimming pools. A community 100km away has 20 houses and doesn't want swimming pools and has the majority, so you don't get a pool.
Fair? (That's a lefty word)
It's all about government at the appropriate level; community; city, county, state, country.

I like how all the non-citizens know what's best regarding America's Electoral College. Some Red state like South Dakota would get no say if it weren't for the EC. They have absolutely nothing in common with millions of people wanting to pack like sardines into densely populated neighborhoods, assisted housing, homeless encampments, etc. The U.S. is a Republic of states, thus the EC.
And why aren't there any Brexiteers here helping us out? :-)

I don't know, maybe SD's don't go to bars/pubs. I'm amazed at the number of SD's on this site given the nature of traveling and or living in a near 3rd world country.
Anyway, when the bars, (pubs if you're not here in Thailand), open up will you be going? This under the most likely scenario that they open before a vaccine is available.
I'm a forced SD'er, so will visit the bar with my girlfriend the first day they're open. Hoping I don't have to pull a mask off my face to sip my cocktail.

Apparently you missed this part;
- Travel and Knowledge will increase (Daniel 12:4)
- Return of Jewish Nation (Jeremiah 23:7-8)
And apparently you missed this part;
6. Creation of strong Kingdoms (nations), which will then disperse into one large and all-powerful Kingdom with an evil leader (a one world government). (Daniel 7)
With the current world situation there's no way we're going to become one kingdom (global government?). Well unless the Dems win the next election.
Or am I to take this to mean everyone will disperse from their Nations to become the all powerful Canada?

My problem with all of this is that they should always use the word 'reported' when they don't. If anyone believes the China numbers, given the lack of info we can get out of them, they're delusional.
All the MSM has to do to redeem themselves is get a few reporters into China and report some facts. Alas that would be real journalism and not what we get today.
We constantly see all the warts and all from open societies, and we bicker back and forth while the truth in closed societies is probably much worse, and if reported accurately could possibly pull us closer during this mess.

The Rapture is an end times event where Jesus Christ returns for His Church. According to the Bible, the event will be instantaneous, in the “twinkling of an eye.” While Scripture nowhere encourages us to try to determine the date of Jesus’ return, we are told to keep watch because we don’t know what day our Lord will come (Matthew 24:42). We are in the end times right now.
As Christians have been claiming for centuries. Why? Because there are always plagues, drought, floods, locusts, etc., and that's how they maintain control.

I use the 200baht unlimited 10mb package. I share the connection with a WISP router hosting 2 other phones, a Roku, and a laptop. My girlfriend and I use YouTube and internet all day due to the lockdown for covid-19. About 64GB a month. No slowdown near the end of the month as I have run a speed test and get between 7mb and 11mb. No streaming buffering issues. Download torrents overnight. Much better 4G than I ever got in the States.
The condo has wireless, but it is garbage.

All of us know about the hassle of tons of paper documentation for visa, 90 day reports that we are subjected to.
Not all foreigners would want to subject themselves to these requirements. It is easier to get visas in Vietnam and maybe Taiwan.

I think he meant all governments, not just Thailand's. At least that's how I took it. None of the current administrations in any country should be blamed for prior administrations lack of development of pandemic protocols.

Oh my, an America-bashing thread. Am I on Reddit? Aren't you all typing your responses on an iPhone, Android, or PC/Mac?
But I should probably consult Reddit, those probably weren't invented in the good ol U.S.A.
