I believe in freedom of all speech, even wrong, hate, lie speech. When you suppress it, you cannot debate it, and then it can become more than it is.

Facebook is a private company and has every right to decide what and who to publish.
I remind you of the first amendment of the US constitution and what it says about freedom of the press.
You, like everyone else, have every right not to read it.
Except when those companies become monopolies, which when you see the 3 different types of platforms, video and search content, message content, and social content, Google, Twitter, and Facebook easily fit that definition.
If the shoe were on the other foot and all three were silencing the left's views, you could bet there would already be laws passing to stop it.
I say just wait awhile, the left has only just started eating their own. They'll figure it out eventually; I hope.

Thank Buddha! Some of them are great kissers. None I've come into contact with admit to being afraid of the virus. Thailand has no virus 'folks'.

There has been an hypothesis that smokers are not as susceptible to Covid19 infection, which seems to be counter-intuitive, considering impaired lung function of most smokers
The virus doesn't like smoke; same as all the non-smoking trolls in this thread.

Feature/bug I found is if you have a payment favorite, like I use for Lazada, you can't use it a second time because you're not allowed to change the ref 1 nor ref 2 numbers. You're only allowed to change the amount. Lazada issues a new number for the ref 1 number for every order.
Not happy.

To those who say to wait until the tourists return to open the bars, that's really a business decision that should be up to the bar owner. I haven't heard the bar owners asking the government to keep the bars closed.
To those of you who complain about those who sit in bars for hours staring into space, many have learned through their many years to be content with the small things; people watching, light conversation, and self-reflection. When you've retired after 40 years of the grind, a few hours a couple times a week can be very satisfying.

Maybe this is will be motivating.
Sounds like the older fat, obese, diabetic, smoker, alcoholics should consider changing their lifestyle if they want to have a better chance to live longer in the future.
Motivate us to contract the disease to escape judgemental narcissists.

So in the past two months, in chonburi, these younguns have been harboring the virus, not spreading it to their elder family members nor contracting severe cases themselves requiring hospitalization. By the government's own figures. (0 internal cases)
And we're supposed to be worried the virus is still in their body waiting for us. Whatever...

Can't prove it until after the election in November. Then, IF Trump wins, Dems will find some issue to claim it's invalid. Just as they did with the Russia Collusion hoax the first time he won.

This is just projection from the left preparing us for Trump's 'invalid win' in November.

Who keeps their marbles?
When I was younger, I kept mine (most of which I inherited from my brother) in a tye-die draw-string bag (which I inherited from my brother). Now, I have no idea where those marbles have gone, the plain and coloured marbles, the dragons' eyes, the cats' eyes, the steelies...
I have no conkers neither.
I'm not sure marbles nor conkers would do you any good in Thailand.
SC
Ah, the steelies. Always a kid with a fist-sized steelie whose dad was a mechanic. Don't forget purees.

You will know this @frantick
My wife loves the trail along the creek edge with many benches where you can just sit and watch the world go by, then over the road to the lake.
Her favorite place is the gazebo on the lake. Bores the Hell outta me, but she could sit there for hours
Many good locations and memories. I liked motorcycling old keystone road between Rockerville and Keystone, Sheridan Lake Road, etc.
But I don't want to highjack this thread too much, so I'll stop there.

Seriously, are you really from Rapid?
Yes, grew up there, and it's my current mailing residence. I read you're up in chapel valley. I miss fly fishing on Rapid Creek.

I'm here! I'm a new expat, but I'm from Rapid City. Does that count?

Except that once we have a vaccine for covid, mask wearing (in Western countries) will likely once again become rare. In those Asian countries where they have traditionally worn masks when feeling like they might have an illness, that will likely continue

Why would the maskers stop once a vaccine is ready? There's no 100% effective vaccine for the flu, and absolutely nothing for the common cold. Don't they care? /s

Will I receive one of these if my address on record is in the U.S.? If so, does it require to be notorized?
-
Notice in all the threads that there's never a response from the maskers to 'why didn't you wear masks for flu/cold deaths prior to covid'. I guess those deaths don't count as 'caring'.
Two illnesses statistically very close to each other and one invokes cries of caring and one never did, and still doesn't. Hmm.

Can you transmit the flu virus to others?
Do people die from the flu?
Can you transmit the common cold?
Do people die from the common cold?
Do you wear a mask for any of these scenarios? No? Shame on you, you could kill someone.
I wear the <deleted> mask in Thailand because it's the law. I actually think 'the maskers' are prolonging the duration of the virus, but no science to back me up. As soon as it's not required, it's gone. If it's still the law in a year when my visa is up for extension, I'll be moving on.
If they do remove the requirement of masks, I'll know who to avoid as they will be the 'caring' people on here still wearing them. Have fun in your safe world with your designer masks.

What harm does wearing a mask do?
Drs do to stop breathing into wounds when treating patients or when being around people with airborne communicable diseases, so why wouldn’t we follow such a lead?
I see American n Euro people in Kamala, Phuket walking around sitting in restaurants and wearing no masks. Pizza shop owner served me the other evening with a mask on while handling my food.
When CO2 levels are elevated in the body it is known as hypercapnia. Hypercapnia can occur for a number of reasons, one of which is rebreathing our own exhaled CO2. Rebreathing CO2 can lead to increased blood pressure, headaches, muscle twitches, rapid heart rate, chest pain, confusion, and fatigue.

All these virtue signaling mask proponents. Where were they for the many years past seasonal flu deaths. Flu spreads the same way, causes death too, even with vaccination.
Time to get off your high horses and help the rest of us build immunity.

A good argument. But. in America women get average 60 percent of pay of men for doing same job.
The girls footballers (Soccer) have shown they are making more advertising revenue better than men in USA.
and this has been shown to be same in Japan with the "Nadeshiko Japan" National Ladies team that goes to the Olympics.
70% is not true for same exact job with same experience and knowledge level. Most of those pro-women studies try to define 'similar jobs' in their comparisons just to make it look worse than it actually is.
I'm so over everybody's victim-hood in 1st world countries.
