Putin’s Red Line on Long-Range Missiles
Bday Prang replied to Social Media's topic in The War in Ukraine
What a nightmare scenario, The future of the world resting in the hands of leftie ex lawyers like Starmer and Harris . how on earth can this be allowed to happen, I can think of few people less qualified to be in these positions -
Putin’s Red Line on Long-Range Missiles
Bday Prang replied to Social Media's topic in The War in Ukraine
What exactly is our resident idiot Two tier Kier getting involved for, its difficult to imagine why a country that can't maitain its border security or even guarantee the survival of its elderly during winter thinks it is qualified to even attend these meetings -

Putin’s Red Line on Long-Range Missiles

Or maybe they do and they aiso realise that there is absolutely nothing any of us can do about it. The future of the world lies solely in the hands of the most corrupt, incompetant , self serving people on the planet. -
Sadiq Khan Advocates for Prioritizing Prisoners in Housing Queue
Bday Prang replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Well much as I detest this individual, I do think he has raised a valid point. We cannot simply throw prisoners out onto the streets at the end of their prison sentence and expect them all to integrate seamlessly back into society as law abiding citizens without some sort of support. Anybody who thinks differently is delusional However they should never receive preferential treatment over and above that given to law abiding people, it should never appear that crime does infact pay. Indeed any foreign prisoners ( presumably the ones he really cares about) should have been deported immediately on conviction as a mandatory part of any punishment they receive. He says " it’s the honest conversation we’ve got to have with people across our respective cities and stuff to explain the reason we’re doing this." but in reality there is an awful lot more that needs to be explained to the long suffering British public, or "extreme right wing " as they are now called -
By depriving pensioners of the winter fuel allowance initially , soon to be followed by huge tax increases, The unemployed and the disabled will also be expected to pay their share. I would expect a significant increase in borrowing too. The only people who will not be asked to put their hand in their pockets will be the "irregular " immigrants and members of the approved trade unions. All will soon be revealed

From the time somebody has the Idea to build a prison until the time it is commisioned into service is measured in years. I doubt very much if Two tier kier or the Labour party will be around for long enough for the first opening ceremony. It will probably be Nigel Farage who will be invited to cut the pink tape on opening day

Foreigner Steals Taxi While High on Cannabis, Crashes into Lamp Post
Bday Prang replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
So since cannabis was effectively legalised here, exactly how many reports have we heard or read of incidents like this where cannabis was to blame,? I think we could actually count them on one hand, and that is after the best efforts of the entire media. There has not been the breakdown in society that was predicted by those educated by "reefer madness" yet some are still desperately trying to convince us as to the negative effects. Has the average number of road traffic accidents increased significantly as a result ? no it has not . Have millions of people become addicted to "harder" drugs due to the "gateway " effect? of course not -
Very little , times are changing, there are certain luxuries that people can no longer afford . Consumerism is a whole new subject for discussion. With all the talk of "the high street" It seems it is now a way of measuring the economy but how relevant is people buying things they don't using money they don't have ? Do 12 year old kids really need £200 training shoes? or smart phones with greater computing power than that required to send man to the moon? Seems a bit strange to me that people can be debanked on the whim of the same banks who will offer credit cards to the unemployed

Several senior police officers themselves have admitted to the existence of 2 tier policing, in fact one would have to be blind or in denial to dispute it. Another worrying thought is that even if this government is voted out at the first opportunity, historically new governments have always been very reluctant to overturn any legislation put in place by previous administrations. As an example one would have expected any labour government to have cancelled maggies move to enable people to buy their own council houses, but it never got a mention did it?

But do we need or indeed actually have any "influence" or all this access to world trade ? Simple example, where I lived in the UK was a farming area good soil produces quality vegetables, yet when I visit the local supermarket most of the vegetables seem to come from the other side of the world. Do people really need to eat out of season strawberries from Egypt in the middle of winter ? Of course not. Sure some natural resources will need to be traded and imported but is it all absolutely necessary?

I tend to believe that too many people are locked up for too long for the wrong reasons, How many people are banged up for not paying their TV licence fee ? I can't be bothered looking it up but I am reasonaby certain the figure is in the thousands and I have heard that the vast majority of those are single parent unmarried mothers I am in no way an expert on penal reform but it strikes me that just blindly following a system that was dreamed up hundreds of years ago by locking people up in prisons , most of which where built hundreds of years ago has been a complete failure and is in serious need of a total rethink. Just like our political system itself which is totally unfit for service and I include the whole civil service too

I don't have the answers, its not my job or my responsibility . but its pretty obvious that we have been failed repeatedly by all governments ( both left and right if there is such a thing) whos job it is to sort this kind of stuff out. Regarding that depressing fact I do at least have a thoery as to why it has happened. I work as an engineer in the construction industry, a rather high pressure environment, where incompetance is totally unacceptable, anybody who fails to make the grade does not last long, They are gone , never to return, that is not to say that there are no chancers , but they are inevitably weeded out sooner rather than later, Compare that to politics where no qualifications are required and even those guilty of major incompetance are pretty much unsackable, Is an environment like that condusive to efficiency or inclined to provide us with the best service ? I hardly think so. This left verses right rubbish is total fiction, they create the illusion that they are battling it out , almost at each others throats, all for our benefit but it is just a carefully manicured and choreographed illusion. There are 650 of them in total and they are all without exception in it for themselves, Its not left verse right , its them verses the electorate. Lying and deceit is considered perfectly acceptable behaviour and incompetance is not an issue until it is percieved to cost them votes Once their "days work" is completed and they all retire to one of the generously subsidised bars and restaurants in the building does anybody really think that their political differences continue to be expressed and argued about, ? Of course not, rather they enjoy a good laugh at our expense, whilst patting each other on the back. eternally thankful for the stupidity of the electorate who put them there, and for the system in place that ensures this will continue

It was no easier trying to be a patriotic Brit believe me, I have given up now as I see nothing to be patriotic about, however I feel perfectly entiteld to express my disgust at how successive governments have presided over what can only be described as the managed decline of a once great nation which has given so much to the world. And to think as a relatively rich country we could have become a tax haven for the rich , almost like MonteCarlo , just with slightly worse weather

If you ever visited the north of England you would realise that has been a work in progress for many many years. however a recent change in government policy now means that pretty much the entire country will now be able to enjoy the "benefits" of uncontrolled "irregular" immigration . "operation scatter" coming to your town very very soon. As I mentioned in a previous comment , "great" Britain once ruled half the world, now it is only an attractive destination for those coming from other third world countries seeking to live a life on benefits. Even the east european construction workers have left

Its not just this policy that is deeply unpopular, its the new government. I think there will be more and more protests over the next few years, and many may develop into civil unrest or even riots. They cannot incarcerate the entire population, the logical conclusion will be to get the army onto the streets and to start shooting people. What else could they do?
