What, exactly, have I got wrong, kinyara?
I started this thread middle of 2019 because restaurants and bars were closing regularly, and whilst I never meant the "well run favorites" I also didn't mean the ones owned by dreamers for 6 months.
Some 8 months later, basically, the whole world closed due to covid. That saw a lot of restaurants and bars close permanently, but that's not what this thread was about, because I started it way before covid.
Since covid, Tree Town was built, and Soi Baukhao and side sois, have gained in popularity, I would suggest due to lower prices, but this is debatable. Are there more people coming here, or has the popularity of Soi Baukhao, and surrounds, come at the expense of other sois?
With covid all but finished, thank Buddha, and we look to 2019 numbers returning, what about all the restaurants and bars that were closing in 2019, and the reason I started this thread?
Has whatever caused many closures back in 2019 simply gone away?
With a global recession a near certainty in 2023, no Russians in the foreseeable future, and China locking in their slaves, do you see it as having no impact at all on Pattaya and businesses here?
