OP, give this a try. On first page make sure you tick 'agree to terms and conditions'.

Also for any dates used the calendar box to enter info.

    Thanks!

The calendar box only goes back to 2010 for the arrival date.  But it worked for a previous poster, so that may not be the problem.

They seem to have fixed that issue - I reported online for the first time about 6 weeks ago and my last entry was in 2003.   Give it a try.

Damn!  I got the useless and dreaded denial "For further information regarding ....."  Maybe it's because I renewed my passport back in 2015  after arriving in 2007.

  3. I just realized that I forgot to mail in my 90 day report in time as it is due on 25 December.  (I could not use the online service as I haven't left Thailand in many years.)

In the past, I have used the Bumrungrad business office service (which can be used by anyone) at 600 baht or so.  Anyone have any other  suggestions for a business that will do it for me.  Somewhere closer to a BTS station would be convenient.  Going to Muang Thong Thani is not an option.

  4. It annoys me that everyone says there was no major fraud that would change the outcome of the election.

In fact there was no fraud found at all.  Not a single case, not one vote found to be cast illegally.  At least I haven't heard about any charges filed anywhere for anything.  Have you?

I can understand how and why someone would vote for Trump.  However, I could never trust a Trump supporter with anything requiring character assessment of another person.

I deal with a number of schools and there are differences from one province to the next and one officer to another, but in BKK the original lab test was always required.

The only explanation I can think of then is that the Bangkok labor office treats private employers, universities, and some schools differently regarding the lab requirement. as i have been using Medconsult for many years as have my friends with varied employment.  I had heard that they required lab results from people from neighboring countries due to what they believe are high rates of syphlis.

Has this worked this year too?

Yeah, all I heard was that in Bangkok they changed from "clinics accepted" to "it's gotta be a hospital"

I didn't hear that the blood work is required.

However, up north for the last 10 years my old labor office insisted on blood test and original lab-slip submitted with the application otherwise no work permit.

The last time I did it was in July. However, Dr. Donna at Medconsult does them every day. Everyone in the office speaks English and they will know exactly what's needed if you give them a call.

I went to the clinic in Indra mall recently and I doubt that it's all legal (or the product isn't what it's made out to be).

I brought along my x-ray plates expecting to be examined as I do have a legit medical issue.
But it's just sold OTC, no examination required, along with a generic medical a certificate. Nowhere on the certificate is my name mentioned, what is being treated or any such information.
Was told that if I was stopped by police just to show them the paper and say that this doctor gave it to me.

Can someone that has a legit medical prescription please let me know what one of those look like and where you obtained it?

Dr. Donna at Medconsult Asia is a British doctor with a Thai medical license who has gone through the training to prescribe the oils.  The prescription looks exactly like a prescription should with a big RX on top and includes my name and address, the medication prescribed, and her  signature and medical license ID number.

This oil did it for me but I smoked it which works much better than ingesting it.They are in the Indra Mall opposite the Bayoke Tower in Bangkok.

I don't understand how they can legally sell non-GPO THC oil.   However, I have also received a prescription from a medical doctor certified to prescribe the oil and she also sold me THC oil not in a GPO bottle.

Legally the work permit is assigned to a particular employer for specific work within that Company only.If the work at the other place wes "cross related then you may be OK, but it it a fine line

Eg< If I had a work permit to work for Co X but my wife owned a bar where I helped serve that would not be OK & would still get into trouble, but if CoX sent me to do some work elsewhere I may be OK.

Well, serving is restricted to Thais anyway, isn't it?  I'm curious how you know what you wrote to be true though, do you have some experience with the labor office?  Thanks.

2 years ago right after the law was amended I was "rented" to another school 1 day a week w/o issue and here at my new school in BKK we have a teacher that gets "rented" to a couple of other schools on an as needed basis.

If you're talking about working for Toyota and part-timing at Suzuki then I couldn't say.

Thanks.  That's helpful to know.  I'm also hoping to hear about employment experiences other then teaching.

  11. I know how the law was originally interpreted, but I'm wondering how the change in work permit rules has played out in real life.  Does anyone have any actual experience with having a work permit from one company and not being required to get approval from the Labor Office for employment with a second employer for a job legal for foreigners?

No need to tell me about the change in work permit law, I'm curious about actual experiences.

    Thanks!

Just drive at a fairly high rate of speed.  Upon entering an intersection, if you go through and crash into someone and kill them it would probably mean that you cannot tell the difference between red and green and at that point you should surrender you rlicense.

Well played!  I see what you did there. You think i might kill someone because of my low light peripheral color difficulty and you wanted to let me know.   Thanks.

  13. I'm at Morchit now.  Thought i would give it a try.  The peripheral color test was a woman standing behind me holding three wands with colored discs.  She held it to a random side with a ramdom color i had to call out.  Much easier than the machine at Bang Chak.  I passed with 3 for 3 although I was guessing slightly with the first red one.

Watching a video in Thai now.
