I sent an email to Starbuck's a few years ago suggesting that they put up a warning sign regarding the rules of parking there for the benefit of their customers.
Never heard back from them......

Also the skankiest food court around:)

also part of her little empire along with the counter in central world and of course the restaurant on soi 11/1. Her restaurant is not cheap but the food is always v.good would also be in my top 3 for BKKall through the 90's only one for me mrs.balbir's shows how good it is if its still there.
That's also the name of the curry counter under Robinson's.
Her 100 baht veg thali at Robinson Asoke is the best deal in town!

Of course I have no knowledge of how the equipment is owned, secured and unsecured creditors court orders etc. etc. etc.

Random guess..... They are trying to sell the Pattaya branch to generate some income for their core Bangkok business. They must have virtually no cash flow now since almost all of their income came from advance payments/training/classes.

I'm looking at buying an old cheap high mileage Volvo 740 that is only running on LPG because the injector pump is broken. There are likely other problems that make the benzene system not worth fixing. Is there any problem with always starting and using LPG.
Thanks!

Thanks for the update. I wonder why they are making no effort to keep their customers informed through their website or by sms. It would be interesting to really know what's going on inside the company.

I've never had to drain out the gas and I've mailed my bike about 5 times. They usually do it, but not always. Guess it depends how much is in there and if they need the gas.

Villa now sells Arm and Hammer detergent without scent.
Lemon Farm does not sell the local product anymore, but Ban Suan Pai does.
Info: Inside the courtyard of a yoga and retreat center compound, you'll find several, small veg food stands, a couple shops selling health food products, an herbal doctor offering treatments, and a gym. Confirmed open by HappyCow March 2012. It's well tucked away and difficult to find. Also known as 'Baan Aree' (Ari house) or 'Banana Family Park.' Directions: Take exit 1 from Ari Station, walk for 3 minutes towards the ESSO service station, immediately before ESSO you will see an alleyway with 'Banana Family Park' on the wall in bright letters, walk up this alleyway and continue through the complex as if you are going to exit out through the back, and you will find all the vegetarian stalls and health shop right at the back.

Hi,
As the title says, I'm looking for Hyatt members/guests interested in playing tennis or squash. However, I'm only at a high beginner/low intermediate level in both.
Also, anyone interested in playing that wants to pay the 700 baht day member pass is welcome! Not too bad a deal if you also workout and spend some time in the pool/spa etc.
Thanks. Please PM if interested.

Paragon was virtually unusable today for fixed weights as most machines were occupied by people playing with their phones.
I know this may come to a shock to many people in life, but when someones in your way if you politly ask them to move/when they will be done 99% of the time they will move that second. Amazes me to watch guys get pissed off at the gym waiting for someone to get off their phone while on equipment. Walk over like a big boy and use words and say hello are you almost done, they will move.
Thanks for your suggestion. I have a suggestion for you as well.

The group membership at the Hyatt worked out surprisingly quickly so I ended up just joining there. If anyone else wants in on the group discount feel free to PM me as I'm sure they would honor it for a few days. Actually it seemed a bit of a scam as they were quick to offer it with only two of us wanting to join. They said a third unspecified member was waiting for a new group. I'll check out the Intercontinental next year, so I don't regret my quick decision

when are you planning on going down, I am a member of Sheraton full time, and not happy with pool
too narrow, four months left,
was a member of Marriott the year before,
pool small, but very nice Management and gym has punching bag,
I also have a black card lifetime member of Truefitness, but no pool but
good yoga classes,.
I would be willing to join Hyatt with you
thanks for the invite to us and letting us know.
Great! Just have to find one more person. I can wait a few days.

The Marriott is good. Just not convenient for me. It's been a few years since I looked at the Intercontinental. It was only mediocre back then. I'll check it out today. I like the Technogym equipment at the Hyatt and the relaxed vibe.

Where do you think is better in this area? The gym chains are all much worse, mostly because of the music for me, and the Four Seasons is much more expensive. I haven't seen any other better options, but I would be happy to be wrong!

I dont think they have Pilates.

I'm joining the gym at the Hyatt Erawan this weekend. It's 45K for one person or 39K each per year for three persons. Nicest spa-like gym in town. Send me a PM if interested in joining me for a group membership. Our only group obligation is meeting there once and paying together.

Bangkok Ekamie etc. is still closed. Makes sense that they would put their limited funds into getting Pattaya back open as they can argue that Paragon etc. is still open for business. I was there today. Triple the usual wanke_rs playing with their cell phones sitting on the machines for 20 minutes. And I'm not exaggerating in any way.
-
No kidding. Why wouldn't they send an SMS? I suppose that, realistically, existing customers who have paid in advance mean little to them. They are just a resource drain.

The Avenue is owned by a company in which Major is the major shareholder and Major used to be the major shareholder in Cal Wow. The Cal Wows in Bangkok located in Major malls are shut also. This is different from the ones they planned on closing at the end of the month. Ekamie and Pinklao which are located in Major malls were supposed to stay open. Paragon Cal Wow told me Ekamie will reopen on Wednesday, but the guy I spoke with was just parroting something someone told him to say.

Congratulations! In a sea of Thai Visa lunacy, that is high on the list of the most ignorant and offensive post I've ever seen!
At long last, I've got to spend a couple of minutes and figure out how to use the ignore function.
