Only a wheel.
Maybe 15 inches.
It seemed to have a small electric motor on the side. There were no other visible parts to this vehicle.
He was wearing a fell face helmet. Presumably to help keep brains and blood out of the engine compartment of the pickup truck that drives over him.
I put forward that the riding position isn't the most comfortable on long trips.

The medical emergency number for Thailand is 1669, unless your friend wants to be taken to a specific hospital, in which case you should look up the hospital's emergency number and store it in their phone for them before it is needed. If your friend does call a hospital in Chiang Mai city though, they will likely have to wait for the ambulance to come from there, rather than getting a local one. In my experience, calling 1669 will ensure the nearest ambulance is dispatched, but it will take them to a public hospital - which I don't really have a problem with in an emergency, but some may.
EMS1669 also have an emergency App.
Set it up on their phone, or anybody's phone, in an emergency it can be called with one button push and they will automatically know their location, name, well, it will know everything about them.

My grandson is staying for the holiday season, so I took him to the Mall to buy some things and play in the game's arcade.
The games were always operated with little token coins. You go to the machine, put in 100 baht and you get 10 or 11 coin tokens.
Now this simple system has been replaced with electronics.
Okay, go to the machine with its digital screen. No English option. No problem, I read and speak enough Thai to go through a registration process.
Wait. A registration process?
Yes. Now you need to register your personal information and get an electronic card to play on the game machines.
Okay. Pay with credit card, no thank you. Pay with cash. It needs 20 baht deposit. Fine.
Next screen. Type my name and phone number on the digital keyboard. Okay.
Put in my 20 baht note. It spits it back out immediately, landing at my feet. It literally threw the money on the ground in front of my feet.
Okay, put it in again, no. Turn it over, no.
Try another two 20 baht notes, exact same.
Press cancel. Tell the machine to go <deleted> itself. And tell the grandson we'll play on his Nintendo Switch when we get home.
What was wrong with the simple coin tokens?

At least the police didn't hack off her arms above the elbow with a machete.
Like the rejected policeman in Kanchanaburi.

Wonder, what scheme they will come up with now to screw tourists for such an insurance. No way that the government will pay for that for an extended time.
Free insurance. Exit tax is now 50,000 Baht.

Usually people use an agent , and as the OP states, because they dont have the 800k in the bank.
Or the IO makes it so difficult with extra demands for documents that cannot be procured in order make money off an agent.

Don't offer an IO directly. It can cost you a lot more than 20k.

Posters that say his arrest is bad obviously have no problem with illegal immigrants in their country.

the latest iphone
The model is more than2 years old.
My son had one then upgraded to the 14 model. He works. His money. Up to him. I'd still have a Nokia if I could understand how to use a phone or if I could tape it to my forehead in order not to forget it somewhere.

It's hard to understand that the parents would not have clues that their 10 year old son is being repeatedly anally raped by an adult male.

Because getting these animals off the streets and castrated asap could save other victims.
