What's going on, a bloke got his apples out at the office and it sparked outrage?

A duty free liter of gin and carton of Marlborough's every 60 days. Good for those that live near a border crossing.
They can probably buy them for someone else and cover the cost of the border bounce. Maybe even turn a profit. 🙂

The best thing about having a 50 inch gut is you can give yourself BJ with it.
Belly Job.

The woman that makes and delivers my 50 baht shorts every week came and said the father went there and told her to not make or sell any clothes for any farang.
Does anyone know where to get 50 inch shorts in Pathum Thani?

Does your mind have a different definition to 'live somewhere'.
I 'live' in Thailand because that's where my condo and my possessions are and where I sleep every night. Nothing to do with what permission of stay I have and I have lived here on visa exempt, tourist visa and non-imm O.
You are visiting here, not living. The stamp in your passport is called a Temporary Permission of Stay. 😉
The immigration police are allowing you to stay here temporarily.
Tourist visa, for tourists, Non-Immigrant visa, for aliens that are no immigrants. Not residency visa. 😉

The poster I was replying to was suggesting the recent change with heading .."unlimited border visa exempt entries" implies possibility of living in Thailand in similar fashion to those on extensions.
It does not.
Aliens can stay here using them as long as entries remain unlimited, the same as those getting 12 month extensions to stay here can do so until they are altered, they are currently unlimited in how many you can get in a row, perhaps they will be changed where as anyone with 3 * 12 month extensions in a row needs to apply for PR.
Both are currently unlimited. Both are way to stay here until that changes. You nor no one else knows when, or if, that will happen. 🙂

People can only 'live in Thailand' when they don't need visas and extensions to.
12 month extensions or visas that may or may not exist in the future is not living here, either, it is visiting and staying here 12 months at a time, hence why the visas have 'Non-Immigrant' across them.

First up this 60 day most likely temporary.
You're posting your opinion and most likelys as if they're some kind of facts. They're not. It's what you think will be most likely.

Yet you do?
Answer: No, you do not.
Accept it.

Then I bought the guitar and gave it to the teacher to give to the family.

This also happened when I bought my boyfriend a car.
He smashed it into another car within 3 days.

Why do you think that’s why they smashed it?
The mother, aunt and grandmother said that was the reason.

I recently started to learn to play the guitar to keep my brain, fingers and hand-eye coordination going. I've been getting lessons and sometime sit and play out in my front yard.
A boy from nearby, around 10 or 11 years old took an interest and started singing along to some songs from out on the road as I'd play.
He tried playing the guitar but didn't know how.
He lives with his mother and grandmother.
After a few months my chords were getting better and so was his singing. Long story short I bought him an acoustic guitar, I gave it to my guitar teacher and told him to give it to him and go round to his place twice a week and give me the bill.
The boy was really doing well.
There was a funeral for his grandmother's sister at the weekend and the males showed up, maybe his father or uncles or whoever.
They all just left yesterday and today, my guitar teacher came for my lesson this evening and said there is no bill this week for the boy's lessons. I asked why and he wouldn't really give me an answer.
I went round to outside the kid's place and the grandmother brought out the smashed acoustic guitar, apparently the men smashed it up because it came from a farang, then left. The boy must be devastated.
Did anybody else experience similar after giving a gift?
