They reported that a new knock sensor is around 3xxx THB.
-
They said they need to investigate why the knock sensor is bad, and it would take 1-2 days to do this.
They look cheap online, less than 1000THB.
-
The check engine light has been coming on and off, so we got an ECU reading at a mechanics.
Apparently it is the knock sensor, from their message.
Any comments, recommendations etc welcome.

The car we use for going shopping serves it's purpose well.
The power supply in the console between the seats has stopped working. It's where the dashcam was plugged into. Other chargers etc also don't get power from it.
The vehicle is used once a week to go to Makro.
Can the dashcam wire be somehow fed through to the engine compartment, the wire be spliced and connected off the car battery terminals?

If this happened in Thailand you could easily put it down to an official's maid owning a menstruation pack factory, but in Canada.....?

Damn right, waste of money and time.
An is correct.
An goes before a vowel sound, not a vowel.
I'm not a teacher, but learned that in elementary school.
Maybe get your Chula educated kid to teach you elementary school English. :)

The same as when a foreigner inherits Thai land and/or a Thai house from a Thai.
You have one year to sell it.
In the case of a Thai house and/or Thai land, If you the foreigner fail to sell it in one year the land department have the right to sell it for a price they see as fair and keep 5% of the sale price.

You can open a mutual fund account at Bangkok Bank.
https://www.bangkokbank.com/en/Personal/Save-And-Invest/Mutual-Funds
Thanks.
But then:
Perhaps they mean that setting it up online is not available to foreigners, and not being able to invest and manage the mutual funds from your mobile Application.

You'd probably be better off investing in mutual funds. For these you'd open an account with an asset management company. Banks have associated asset management companies and you can open an account at a bank branch (or even online).
Thanks, I'll look into that.
Do you have a link to a reputable asset management company, being able to open online would be a small advantage.
TIA.

Where? And How?

You are reading it wrong.
The relevant section is 2.18 (5)
Everything else is irrelevant and nothing to do with what is being discussed.
(5) In the case of parents, the father or mother must maintain an average annual income of no less than Baht 40,000 per month throughout the year or must have deposited funds of no less than Baht 400,000 to cover expenses for one year. For other necessary cases, the Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Immigration Bureau is granted the authority to make decisions regarding approval on a case-by-case basis.
You're wrong.
2.18 (5) is only about the financial requirement. It is not the full set of requirements.
The child must live with the alien, be unmarried and not be over the age of 20. As per 2.18.
As for the financial requirements, see 2.18(5) which refers to those and only those.
If you think 2.18(5) is the full list of requirements it would mean that you think the child can live anywhere, be any age and be married with their own family. Say, be 40 years old living in another province with their spouse and 3 children.

milkshakes?
You mix it it water not milk lol.
I am in my 60s and have been taking protein powder for around 2 years to slow muscles deterioration. 1 scoop mixed into a big glass of water and mixed.
Around 30 grams on days that I don't exercise and 60 grams on an exercise day.
No weight gain, but increased muscles mass.

I guess it isn't an emergency fix or die situation, like faulty brakes, and a faulty knock sensor will be okay to drive for a while as we research it.
