Though none of them are saying what other retirement based visa and extension there is and why others would still choose the O-A visa when there is apparently another retirement based visa and extension for aliens from most developed world countries.

What retirement visa and extension do people from most developed countries get that is based on retirement and isn't an 'O-A'? Why would retirees get an 'O-A' that requires insurance if there is another retirement based visa and extension that doesn't?

Sounds like a loose plug or cable. 

The yellow house book has nothing to do with ownership of the property, it is simply a register of where you are living. 

You are legally entitled to get a yellow house book here and having the ombudsman on speed dial while at the amphur office, along with printouts of the legally required documents, so that the officer can explain to the ombudsman why they are refusing to give you one will see you receive it rather quickly. 

Sorry, we don't understand the issue, please explain it to the ombudsman so they can explain it to us, then call them.
