If you think Thailand has to be like US or other western countries, you are the dreamer, not me. It's quite easy. The guy in the topic either had no sufficient insurance or he drove under circumstances that were not covered. So who should have to pay for such a moronic behavior? Thailand? GB? The hospital? If things are so much better in other countries, idiots like him better should stay there. -

I saw Kove bikes at the EICMA 2022 and was quite impressed especially from the ADV800X. The (then not yet independently checked) data sound quite good: 799cc, 100 horsepower, and (hard to believe) 180kg. 21 inch front wheel, 240mm suspension.

The important word is MOST. So it ain't racism, right. It has to do with illegal migration, not with racism. I don't know about GB, but for Germany for example Nippon nationals do not need a visa. Are Japanes Asiens?

I understand the point. But Thailand is not GB and as long as many Thai nationals do not have sufficient health care of a western standard, why should Thailand pay for foreign fools without insurance or idiots drivung in a way that excludes payments by the insurance company?

Another option would be to make a trvel insurance mandatory for everyone who wants to visit the country. But then I could her the shouting until Germany, I guess :-). By the way: If a Thai wants to go to Europe (EU) he has to show a health insurance.

I don't think it's Thailand to change it's attitude. The situation is very clear: If you're going to a foreign country you should have a travel insurance that pays the costs in case of an emergency or accident. If you can afford to hollidy in Thailand you should be able to pay the very decent price for a travel insurance too. If not, stay home or gofundme if things go wrong.

The day Trump told the public he'd run for presideny again was the day, Old Joe has won the elections. Even if Trump does not survive the Rep primaries he will split the Republicans, because surely he's not the man to recommend his followers to vote for DeSantis or another candidate.
