Doesn't look good from this vantage point that the government has control over foreigners and these activities. Suppose the population will be upset about this. Means more scrutiny, probably, of foreigners residing there. -

Report Thailand Tightens Grip on Retirement Visas Amid Wealth Shift
Bohemianfish replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
See that as highly unlikely with the tax treaty and would backfire. The “reciprocal-tax agreement” between the United States and Thailand is the U.S.–Thailand Income-Tax Treaty, signed 26 November 1996 and in force for tax years beginning 1 January 1998. It prevents most forms of double taxation, lowers withholding rates on dividends, interest and royalties, and sets out tie-breaker rules for tax residence. (There is no U.S.–Thailand Social-Security/“totalization” agreement. -

Is it worth it at 78 ? - Implant replacement teeth
Bohemianfish replied to still kicking's topic in Health and Medicine
I'd err on saying no. Depends on how much money you have. It depends on how extensive the work will be and the cost. You would need a treatment plan to know the full cost. People underestimate the complexity and risks with implants. You may need sinus lifts, etc, which can get quite expensive and its a lot of time in the chair. I've had a few implants and I'm passing on getting 3 implants due to cost and need for a sinus lift. But it's back teeth and not an issue with me. If I was 20 years younger and had the funds, I'd consider it. I do have the funds, but it's a cost benefits analysis. Make sure you find someone REALLY good to do it if you indeed do it. And you may not need full implants, but a few and maybe a partial denture. It all depends....you may only need a few crowns, hard to say without the analysis. -
I've tried CoPilot Pro and Gemini paid and it doesn't fit for me. ChatGPT has been far and above the best, particulary the paid version, which has saved me a lot of time and money over the subscription price. Worth trying free trials of these apps. ChatGPT doesn't have a free trial, though. 5000 baht is a bargain.

I use ChatGPT Plus, paid version, almost daily. It's saved me a lot of time and money. We had a legal thing going on and uploaded the legal docs and it analyzed it and provided an analysis and offered to write a letter in response which it did and worked great. And other legal matter advice which was helpful. How to deal with some people. Offered a lot of advice on books on a particular matter/subject. Used it for a therapy / impartial "person" to talk to when needed and get great feedback. Asked it for travel plans and gave me all the info I needed. Way better than doing 10 searches to aggregate info. Support drawing up info on Thailand matters. On and on.
