Yet again !
Week after week , month after month and year upon year the never ending accidents involving buses continues .
Shows how little the government care really when this carries on and on even after the one involving all the children that went on fire .
Reason my wife or family are not allowed on these death traps . I just don't allow it !
I heard it depends on the bus/service? That's what I've heard. We've done the bus thing two or three times over the years, but not on the two-story balsa wood bombs, as they seem to be, but the fancy coaches.

Putbills and buses. Every day it seems.

May as well take the "vomit comet"

The literal answer is that I lived in Korea for 3+ years in the late 80s. I was fluent in the language, courtesy of the US Army.

Read these stories every day in the USA.

Many of us drive motorcycles or scooters here, and it is dangerous getting on the roads with some of these other drivers. Getting on a scooter, or a motorcycle anywhere in Thailand, much less Phuket, Phangan, Dark Tao, or Samui without a very good helmet, or alot of riding experience, is like playing Russian Roulette with three or four bullets in the chamber. It is absolutely asking for problems. The degree of recklessness here is astounding. And many foreigners come here thinking "how much trouble could I get in on a little scooter, on a tropical island"? Well, the answer is alot. The amount of foreigners who are killed on the Southern islands is staggering. Most are not reported in the media. I had a friend who worked for Samui rescue for many years, and said the numbers were about 30-60 a month, on Samui, Phangan and Koh Tao. The official number is about 3 a month. Rider beware. Use as good a helmet as you can afford, and do not use these eggshells pieces of crap. They crack at the first impact, and what lies underneath them? Your skull, which is very delicate.
I have been riding bikes for 49 years. Without any serious accidents. A few minor ones over the years. Riding a bike here is very dangerous. If not the highest, one of the highest fatality rates in the world. And an accident here can be very costly, to your person. Just ask yourself- do I have enough problems already, without a broken skull, or smashed head, or face injury, or lost eye? I have three friends who have been in motorbike accidents on Samui. One still cannot walk, or talk or function on her own, from a motorbike accident, where she hit her head on the pavement going only 20 kph. The other one has lost alot of his mental capacity after hitting his head. He insisted for years he would never wear a helmet. Now, he seems 15 years older. The third one is a close friend, who was hit by a sidecar, and nearly lost his leg. 11 operations later and after spending many millions of baht, he can walk, but with a limp, and the leg has caused him constant problems, many years later.
I had a friend in the USA early 20s had a motorcycle. His group of riders seemed to all have a recent story at the time about one accident or another. I recall them recommending motorcycle leathers, the thick stuff, to help protect from serious injury as much as possible.
Seems people don't mind going to a developing country where safety standards are differnet and do wild things that they might not do in their own country. Maybe because it is cheaper and they let loose on vacation.

May need a bone graft. 6 months later get an implant. Find an ENDODONTIST and good one.
Bridge means destroying the adjacent teeth by grinding them down.
I've had all this done. Please find a good doctor to do an implant. You have time. No rush. See if she needs the bone graft IF too much bone is gone. I had this done also.

Things change. Maybe it will be where small shops close (mostly) and large venues thrive. Time will tell.

Anyone who thinks this is funny, the farmers are getting screwed, everyone. Costs of seed has doubled in a year. It's all evident and we'll see things go to pot fast.

What his supporters seem to forget is that one of the reasons why America has been such a dynamic economy up until now is the relative lack of tariffs. More tariffs resolve nothing, will slow down the economy, and will result in massive job loss, inflation and what are really tax hikes on the American people. Dumb and dumber. But, that's just big Don for you.

Americans and all citizens getting absolutely screwed over tariffs. There is NO good news here in America anymore. The last two months have been a nightmare and its' getting way to expensive to live here and will continue to get worse. The cost of food will continue to skyrocket and price of goods. Farmers are getting screwed. Everyone is getting screwed. What will the next four years look like?
Fortunately, we are not rich or poor. But we will not be able to replace our 26 year old cars that we keep running and the price of cars is expected to rise $12000. Used cars are too expensive. Car part will skyrocket.

Pitbull? Vicious breed? Friendly one minute then not the next?

They are committing atrocities against its citizen, many older and vulerable. SS is overstressed without enough workers. They want to make it difficult to fix anything if you have a problem. They want to create friction so they pay out less and end up destroying peoples' lives.

And he’s exactly right.
- FACT: The U.S. Government Accountability Office estimates taxpayers lose as much as $521 billion annually to fraud — and most of that is within entitlement programs, such as Medicare and Medicaid.
- FACT: Over the past two decades, the federal government has made an estimated $2.7 trillion in “improper payments” — the majority of which come in the form of “payments to deceased individuals or those who no longer [are] eligible for government programs.”
- FACT: The Social Security Administration made an estimated $72 billion in improper payments between 2015 and 2022.
- FACT: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services estimated it made $140+ billion in improper payments in 2024 alone.
What kind of a person doesn’t support eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse in government spending that ultimately costs taxpayers more?
Musk has yet to prove much fraud. In fact, its been reported they are having a hard time finding it. How is Musk exaclty right? Are you DOGE?

Sad. Saw this happen up at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai. We heard it. It sounded like a bomb when it fell into a ditch and I took cover, military training reaction? Later heard someone died.
A truck full of military personal simply drove by it and didn't stop. Kept moving along.

Tourist Brawl in Jomtien Sparks Growing Concerns Over Pattaya Image
Haha a few street brawls from drunks does nothing to tarnish Pattayas image. Those ladyboys robbing foreigners. Street fights with Thai ladyboys angry a foreigner does not want or like them, teens robbing and beating foreigners to get money to fix their bike, security in packs beating down foreigners who are drunk, these are the things to rui the city's reputation.. Which by no means is a good reputation anyway. Corrupt police. Laws applied to foreigners but not to Thais as well as more severe punishments for minor indiscretions. Pattaya's reputation has nothing to fear from a measly street brawl amongst foreigners.
That's all? lol

I do Keto Intermittent Fasting. Just eat dinner. Trying to do a more intense fast so eating less.
Trying to avoid triggering insulin and increasing insulin resistance. Do take a day or two off when my wife is not working. Had frozen pizza the other day.
Chicken thighs, sardines, grass fed butter, leafy veggies, green beans. Keep under 20 carbs per day. 1/4 cup of walnuts. Extra virgin olive oil. A small steak. Eggs. Mixed nuts.
Adkins low carb is similar and I refer to their food list mostly: https://au.atkins.com/why-atkins/the-phases/Trying to walk briskly for a period in the mornings, weather permitting.

I use ChatGPT Plus, paid version, almost daily. It's saved me a lot of time and money. We had a legal thing going on and uploaded the legal docs and it analyzed it and provided an analysis and offered to write a letter in response which it did and worked great. And other legal matter advice which was helpful.
How to deal with some people.
Offered a lot of advice on books on a particular matter/subject.
Used it for a therapy / impartial "person" to talk to when needed and get great feedback.
Asked it for travel plans and gave me all the info I needed.
Way better than doing 10 searches to aggregate info.
Support drawing up info on Thailand matters.
On and on.
