Do the bank statements for Non-immigration work visa-B need Bank stamp
No country in the world has more than one Embassy in a single foreign country. However, many countries also have Consulates in addition to an Embassy. I hope that you are not applying for a work visa in order to become a teacher.

Arrest Warrants Issued For Ben Smith Over Bt1bn Fraud
You said: "So everyone in the world should invest only in the US? You must be an American with a delusional view." Nowhere in the post you were criticizing was anything said about investing only in the US. Also, why did you need to include your last sentence? What is your nationality and what Thai stocks have you invested in?

Samut Prakan Immigration: you'd better stay in Bangkok
I have lived in Chiang Mai for thirty-five years. Thankfully I have never had any problems with immigration here.

I can't take it anymore..............
Perhaps I'm just lucky, but I have not had problems with immigration even once in the 36 years I have been living and working here and I have had a spousal visa for most of those years.

Foreign Nationals Lose ฿300m in Pattaya Gold Scam
These already wealthy individuals were targeted simply because they were already wealthy, and like many wealthy people, they were greedy and wanted more - passive income - without much effort on their part.

Maybe you should try putting rocks in your pockets to make it more difficult for them to pick you up...ohhh, and stop walking around unzipped.

Filipina Tourist Criticises English Proficiency in Thailand
If you live in Thailand, maybe you should learn to speak Thai. You could start with the words for fork and spoon since eat out a lot.

Filipina Tourist Criticises English Proficiency in Thailand
The problem with teaching English in Thai schools is the curriculum - it is all grammar focused. You don't learn a language by studying grammar. Languages are learned by listening. Listening leads to speaking. The listening skill is hindered by the fact that most Thai English language teachers speak Thai when trying to teach English through a grammar focus which does not promote speaking skills. If taught properly, once speaking skills are developed then the next skill is reading. Reading results in learning vocabulary and structure, grammar, and that leads to writing ability.

Australia Launches Nationwide Gun Buy-Back After Bondi Shooting
Everyone born male has a gun - they come in a variety of sizes. The things that can shoot bullets and kill people are called weapons. I remember my military drill sergeant making an example of a young man who dared to call his M-16 a gun stand in front of the entire company, take out his penis then hold it in one hand and his M-16 in the other showing both to all of us while chanting "This is my weapon, this is my gun, this is for fighting, this is for fun".

It annoys me when Thai businesses put up the Christmas tree Nov
I no longer have a Christmas tree. I did put one up when my children were younger since we do celebrate the idea of gift giving. The tree was not put up for any other reason than celebrating that idea, which included Christmas stockings and Santa Claus. We are a Buddhist family so our tree and our celebration of the holiday had nothing to do with the Christian religious holiday. It was more a celebration of the Winter Solstice and the end of the year. Though we no longer put up a tree or hang stockings we still celebrate with gift giving and a nice dinner. Everyone in the family still loves Santa even though he is getting old now - 78 - and moves a bit more slowly.

Why are some people so desperate to stay in Thailand?
What immigration and bureaucratic hassles are you experiencing? Frankly, I don't have any hassles. My life here is quite nice and I have been living here for more than three decades and have no desire to sell and move out.

What minimum balances do you keep in Thailand?
Wow - 25,000 baht for tires and 30,000 baht for insurance! I don't live in BKK, but if I did, I wouldn't even consider having a car. My insurance - grade A - is half yours and my vehicle is quite new. I just put new tires on my spouse's car, and they were good quality, western brand, for 12,000. BKK has good public transport and you could rent a car to get away with your dogs on the weekends for a fraction of what you are spending to own and maintain a vehicle. By the way, my electric bill last month for two houses that I built four years ago was less than 2,000. Produce where I live is very good quality. We eat Thai food about half of the time and western food the other half - mostly cooked at home.

What annoys you most about the roads (not the drivers)?
Other than the larger highways, the roads are way too narrow - especially in rural areas.
