As I wouldn´t walk around in shorts wherever I go in my home country, I have been taken it as a rule to keep also in Thailand.

I chosed "Some other reason". Of course I use a belt, and I tell my wife and kids to put it on too, everytime we go with the car. I sincerely hope everybody wears a belt, and don´t come here with comments like: "The times when people wear belt are long gone". ????

I wonder how many foreigners in Thailand cheat on their GF's / wives.
Probably a lot, but if you want an answer. Do not hesitate to contact @GalaxyMan. He seems to sit on a lot of wierd info.

Really??? And I thought mankind was a generally honest race.

A lot of Thais work and sleep well away from their partners. My wifes friend live in Hot and her husband works in Chiang Mai 100km away he works for ten days and gets two off.
And they still trust and believe in eachother? By all means, do not ever tell anyone of them. That might break the illusion of the perfect bubble.

We could argue all day about the differing levels of insanity present in some locals, but temporary would be at least plausible in this situation.
Unfortunately this is a case that has very little weight in Thai courts and in the justice system. They rather chose to call it a private problem between wife and husband. The court would probably see it more like the man have the right to react, while the woman belongs to the man she is married to and it´s his property to use as he wish.
However, it can never be right to make an attempt to, or, kill another person if it do not fall under self defense. The right thing for the man to do here, is either forgive his wife or walk away. (Ok, maybe mess the other guy up a little bit before he leaves and slap his wife.)-

Seems to me that Niphit is hiding something too. He said they were married, registered and he had been with his wife for a year.
In reality he only shared a room with her 2-3 days every week. Wonder where Niphit were sleeping the other 4-5 days every week?-

You forgot that it´s already a water shortage in Thailand. If they use more of the local water, that will turn worse.

He forgot one very vital part. He will do it in the perspective of his way of looking at good and bad.

You will not need to show any insurance if you chose to apply and extend Non-O visa. That is only for people that goes on or chose to apply for and extend Non-OA visa.
Strange, but for now thats the rules.
If you out of some reason must chose a Non-OA, then the insurance you have will not qualify.

Though checkpoints are off the main roads the police still plan a large number of help points (2,530), emergency response posts (1,869) and those alcohol checkpoints (1,909).
Yeah! It must be a terrible overload of work to not separate the help points and alcohol checkpoints. To much for a brain to handle at the same time. For most people in the world that is called normality.

That´s just a lot of pure rubbish put into one news article: Here comes the reality!
I have been driving 2 times a day back and forth on motorbike due to that my children and wife is in the home village about 50 km away. Somebody have to check the house and take care of our 2 dogs, 1 cat and a rabbit. However, let´s get back to the checkpoints with highly efficient officials. ????There are 5 of them on my way. This year I´ve been making a habit of stopping and saying hello to the poor people that have to work in these tents. At the same time a also get direct insight in how it actually works.
The first day a was sitting in the second checkpoint, when 2 mootrcycles with teenagers also drives in and stop for a while. Guess they wanted the free coffée. Anyway, nobody said anything to them dispite that they where travelling without helmets and 5 on one motorbike while 4 on the second. The highly efficient officials that are told to take care of these things they just laughed, gave them free coffée and waved them on their merry way.
The second day, and at the last of the checkpoints. Then I saw both a driver of a car and 2 people on a motorcycle that was so drunk that they hardly couldn´t walk from their veichles to a chair. The only thing they were told was to relax for an hour.
As far as I can see, it can only mean two different realities. The first one is that the bosses are so lame that they can´t get respect enough to push the information through. The other one is, the most probable, that nobody care at all and just talks as usual.
As long as that goes on, they can all take their pretty little tents and push up their pretty little bums. Going out with this kind of news message is laughable.During the time, we can all bite on this one:

So why is that a problem? Let them drive into the space if they want. You don’t own that space.
Really sad to read that you do not get why. I will give you a hint. It has something to do why common sense and respect for safety.

Really smart comment. Why do you post at all, when you do not even have a clue about how a forum works? ????
So if somebody go missing in Bangkok, then only people living there have the right to talk about it? You understand how weird a comment like that is.
We can go even further down the line with your crazy way of thinking. What about the cave rescue of the football team? Was that only for people living in Chiang Rai to talk and post about?
I think it you that has a problem here, not me or any of the other posters that frequently posts in forums that is not belonging to their area of living.-

Is it illegal? NO way. It's only against their rules and the sims can be closed.
Of course it´s illegal. You buy the sim and need to provide a name as the owner, if the sim changes owner by a sale, then the sim also need to change the name of the owner. Countries have written that in their laws long time ago, due to the high terrorist threat.

Perhaps they would be liable for the costs of those who spent days searching for them - boats, helicopters and personnel!
Why would they be that. Did they sign any contract of liability and later went of the grid?

Hardly a crime!!!So, if your read the agreement with you and your mobile provider, then you will find that it´s perfectly legal to sell that number to anyne you wish?
Are you really thast unaware of reality? Wake up, and smell the 21th century.-

Not going to be easy to enforce road safety, when no check points have been promised.

Nah, more, like the one Thor Heyerdahl, the Norwegian adventurer did by crossing the pacific Ocean from South America to the Tuamoto Islands. His raft name was Kon-Tiki and the trip was 8000 km. ????

This is a clear case of the wrath of the evolution theory. Only the strong motorbikes survive. It´s natural selection. Spontaneous combustion. Case solved!
