Again you are obviously the one bored (And boring) here
when was the last time you did a positive or helpfull post on the forum?
as far as i can remember i have seen none
you only complaining about the others members, degrading them at every
occasion that you have, you are a disgrace for this forum, i don't even know why
you are still here honestly, as most of your posts are more than borderline
Nope, not bored at all. Boring?? In the eyes of the beholder, obviously. ????
Nonono, I have had a lot of helpful and positive comments and post as well. However, I just hate people that have to see everything as bad. Even before they know what it really is or if it even going to exist.
However, No problem. The cabinet has approved the 270 days tourist visa. That´s great news, right? Now there is no need to complain no more. Just live up to the requirements for that one and apply for it. Welcome back to Thailand. ????
On the other hand, it will probably be complaints about requirements for the visa, because Thailand do not chose to crawl and kiss peoples feet. Otherwise, it just a matter of time before it will be complaint about something else. My opinion is that the people that can´t live up to the requirements for this new tourist visa or any other visa or extension, can just pack up their sorry life and get going.
Maybe think that is borderline to, but that just proves who and in what situation one is. ???? -

Thanks for the suggestions, problem is I'm on a business visa, which cannot be extended. And I'd rather drop this country from my list than spend 14 days in quarantine just to get back in.
I strongly suspect many people will think like you. Why can the business visa not be extended? Did the work go away with the pandemic as well? Sorry for that if that is the case.

Let me get this straight....you are saying that tourists, by virtue of being tourists, must have limited funds.
I hope your tongue is placed firmly in your cheek; otherwise that is a new low for you.
Yes and WOW! Now we have this discussion again. A tourists means a person that visits a country. Not a person that is trying to live in a country with such a type of visa. That is something Immigration already cleared by limit those. As a general tourist, most would be out of money to spend for tourism or living abroad, due to that they have been stuck about 120 extra days in a foreign country.
However, there are people who call themselves tourists, just because it´s the only chance they can stay in Thailand. Many of those are als working online without a company or work permit. They are not to be considered tourist, they are law breakers.Anyway, now there is nothing more for you to complain about. Your chance is here. Take it and stop complain. Now they approved a 270 day tourist visa. Just to go get it! Welcome back. ????

Why do you assume people stuck here for months must be out of money? Neither am I nor are the people I know. Actually being stuck we've spent less than we've had coming in. Strange world, innit?
Ok, most genuine tourists that have been stuck for month on overtime in a country would be. However, there are exceptions of course. Seems like you are one. As another point, the tourist visa is for the purpose of visiting the country, not living here. So, time to go home anyway. Cheers! ????
On the other hand. Not to worry, the cabinet has approved the tourist visa for 270 days. So, you are welcome back! No problem, good luck! ????

Sorry @ Matzzon I was not trying to advocate for those on amnesty, my comment was directed at those on amnesty that have started the process to obtain there 30 or 60 day extensions.
Okay, then I get it. Sorry here to. That why I wrote I didn´t get it. Normally it´s crystal clear. ????

Well lets see, 1200 tourists a month. Just the tip of the iceberg. 40 a day, lets see where this goes. Maybe they should let those here on Amnesty be the first people to have the Visa issued here in the country, as well as letting in all those whose Visa's and extensions of stay are still valid but are trapped outside.
Now I do not get it. Many have been stuck for month on visa amnesty. Why should they let them stay longer first. If just a tourist visa on amnesty, they must be out of money now, and in real need to come home and work again for their next holiday. Everything else regarding people on visa extension I agree about.

The only stupid reaction here it's your
if you think the matter doesn't worth to be discussed
why you don't complain to Webfact who has created this topic
and open it at the discussion? (The discussion including of course your stupid reaction)
So, it is? Why is it that no one have said, let´s wait and see what happens then? Just complaining and degrading something you know nothing about. You do know it´s possible to have a positive discussion too. Just that it´s very rare among the bored expats on Thai Visa.

Kalasin Provincial Education Office has set up an investigation committee to uncover the truth behind allegations that three schoolboys raped a five-year-old girl in the school toilet.
That´s easy. Just take a rape kit on the girl and collect evidence from the accused three boys. Case solved! If there was a rape, there is always evidence.

Nah, wrong on both assumptions. I have great variation in my life, with lots of different work and meeting a lot of people. Actually very social and accepted in most circles. After that I live with family of wife and two children.
Just because you said another thing out of relevance, I take that as you admitting that the thing you called truth was not very credible. ???? Thanks!Have a nice day.

Has it ever occurred to you why so many self interest groups are spending so much money to remove a non politician from the white House.
Please don't come back with because he's a waycist, xenophobic, misogynistic, lying, sexist, pussy grabbing, veteran hating incompetent.
Not only is it complete rubbish, it is also boring and unoriginal.
The answer is simple. The guy can never admit that he is wrong, even if someone holds the evidence in his face.
He is also a danger to the agreements and the statibility in a quite fragile world.

Thaivisa notes that the media gives the moniker "Big" to many leading politicians and police.
IB chief Sompong Chingduang is "Big Oud", Prawit is "Big Pom" and former IB chief Surachet Hakpan was "Big Joke".
Thai Visa is quite clever. Most people would have missed that. ????
Regarding this new man here. Maybe he should take and concentrate a little bit on his own people and let Immigration do their work. I mean, he have a load of of criminals on domestic level. Here there are all from wife beaters, motorcycle racers to scammers and murderers on a daily basis. I am pretty sure it will fill this guy calendar to a bursting level. If he have any time over he could also give a look at authority and higher levels in the country, where he will find an infestation of hidden crime in million baht bags.-

Will they come with a new announcement if the amnesty is not extended
Why do you think they would do that? You know it´s 26 sept already. In my opinion it will be no more extension of amnesty.

They are not going to do anything. This article is pure bs and an attempt to make one official look like he's earning his salary. As soon as (or if) the tourist dollars start to flow, it will be business as usual. Thai authorities never focus on the big picture, although they sometimes like to give that impression.
Even if it goes very slow, things change. If you can not see that, then you are blind.

How much business has their inaction of the last 20 years cost them?
Let's not forget, in the last 20 years Facebook etc has been invented, and one negative experience can be shared between hundreds, if not thousands, in 2 minutes.
As the case with many things here, they would rather make a quick illegal baht, than run a proper legitimate and sustainable operation.
So, you are saying that it´s better to do same the next 20 years as well.

Cabinet okays 9-month visas for foreigners
in Thailand News
Posted
Ok, didn´t know that. Thought a foreign company with people working in Thailand needed a branch in Thailand or a BOI agreement, and that all those visas could be extended inside the country.
