Thank you for your reply, dimitriv.

As for the 5G coverage, AIS does provide 5G access across parts of BKK, including Chatuchak, Ari, Victory Monument, Phaya Thai, Siam, Sam Yan, Silom, Sathon, Chidlom, Nana, Asok and Sukhumvit and others. https://www.ais.co.th/5g/en/

wow, didn't know that. Thailand must be one of the first...

But you must be careful, I see that they mention specific roads, so coverage will be very limited.

Tell us more about these Facebook ads. How about some examples?

    Here is the article...

-The study was also criticized for recruiting its volunteers on Facebook

-Then there are concerns about the Stanford study’s sample and statistical analysis.

-Both studies used an antibody test made by Premier Biotech company that has not been approved by the FDA and comes with an acknowledgment that it can record false positives.

    Are you a virologist?

No. I am smarter than that.

There are governments all over the world, making policies based on advice of a LOT of virologists.

A conspiracy channel finds some virologists with a different opinion and they say:  LOOK, we found 1 or 2 virologists with a different opinion, so the whole world is wrong!!!  Everybody is wrong, because we have 1 or 2 people here who say so!

TVF is full with sheep, talking about meanstream media bla bla bla.

He's a scientist with the US military

I saw other US scientists using Facebook ads to ask people to come for a test, using unreliable tests known for giving a lot of false positives. Being a US scientists means nothing.

They all have their own motives for getting publicity.

Of course he's only confirming what we can see with our own eyes. A mortality rate in some countries as low as 0.00007 per cent of the population obviously means this virus is not as lethal as it was cracked up to be.

    These are your numbers.

  6. The modem supports 5G, AIS does not. Not yet. So you will get 3G or 4G depending on your location.

A cheaper option now would be to buy a 4G Wifi modem on Lazada for around 1500 baht, and order a simcard with unlimited data 10 mbps for a year from AIS or True for 1500-2000 Baht a year.

10 mbps does not sound fast, but it's fast enough for most things including watching Netflix in HD.

Their offer with 100 GB a month is very limited. The other option with 300 mbps is theoretical, you will never get this speed.

  7. You cannot make conclusions like that ????

    root@vps1:~# ping6 2001:41d0:701:1000::24

    rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 7.491/7.531/7.590/0.074 ms

Average ping time from here (Bangkok AIS) for ipv4 is 7.608 ms and with ipv6 7.531. This is about the same.

Routing for ipv4 and ipv6 can be different, so it is possible that ping times are different. But this is not a result of something being ipv4 or ipv6. It's the result of using different ways to reach the destination. In another case ipv4 can be faster.

One thing surprises me...  My ping time is about 7 ms, yours is about 200 ms. Is 3bb really so bad ?  It looks like they are trying to save money on international connections.

I think you know what I meant.

Tap water is generally fine and I have no issue with it normally.

    Yes, sorry. I know.

It's bad to drink that water. Maybe you have no issues now. But if there are chemicals in that water you can get issues later.

  9. In Bangkok it's the same.

On the ground floor of our condo building are several shops, not visible from the street. Almost all of them opened again.

Beauty and massage salons, barber shops in our soi...  A notice on the door that they are closed. But for a private appointment you can call a phone number and they will open the door for you.

People have to eat. And if the government fails to help people, they will have to come up with something themselves.

He found that 7.4 percent of the staff have antibodies to COVID

    The numbers are different everywhere.

In NL the organization where you can donate blood said that 3% of the blood they received contained antibodies.

About 3750 people died till now in NL. With an infection rate of 100% the number of deaths would rise to 125.000. That is 0.8 % of the population.

Some people say that the number of deaths is perhaps twice as high, because only people who have been tested and die are counted. If you die without a positive test, it is not counted.
