  1. I would definitely be looking at the oil consumption as it shouldnt be burning oil at all at that mileage. if it has no leaks its going somewhere and thats not good. It will probably get worse over time. that may also be the issue with the engine light and high emission issue.
  2. Not always. It depends on your past history. Imm can ask anyone questions if they feel its appropriate.
  3. If your funds fall below the appropriate amount (or where never there for the appropriate amount and time frame to start with) your permission to stay is in violation. There may not be a specific law about using agents but the requirements for monetary levels are part of the Visa program and dependent on the category you could find yourself in violation. What would or could happen depends on a variety of issues but 1 option would be a 7 day notice to leave the country as your permission to stay could be cancelled. I'm noy saying it would happen but you know as well as I do that depending on the day of the week, direction of the wind and who is trying to make a point anything is possible.
  4. I only said it can have an impact on the visitor as it would if it were checked. If you haven't noticed the number of checks and extra verifications on some visa categories has increased in the last 6 months and is likely to continue Whats the ratio of people found, no way of knowing .
  5. Actually it would impact the person if they don't have the required funds as indicated for that category and a check by immigration was done.

just buy a firestick yourself and you have almost unlimited options. You'll need a VPN to access some services that aren't broadcast in Thailand. Then add whatever subscription you want or need with the sports and other packages you want.
  7. Laugh all you want but it's true. there's a huge contingent of posters that constantly refuse to jeopardize the remote chance of losing their passport so refuse to carry it with them but then many of the same ones think nothing of handing it over to an "agent" to fix their extensions because they're too lazy or dont have adequate funds and then cry the blues when the agent doesn't follow thru in a timely manner. If you come to live in another country, then you should put out the effort to do the required paperwork yourself. Certainly there are a few true exceptions for using a real agency but it's the lesser of people using agents.
  8. With very few exceptions people that use an agent are just asking for trouble at some point. It's great while it works until it doesnt and then they come crying on the forum on how to fix their problem. I guess some are just too important to spend the day taking care of their paperwork themselves.
  9. Its not a public bus or subway system and can govern the rules they wish to operate under. It's not a regulation to wear a mask it's a regulation suggestion from the bus and subway and MRT operators and also the Dept of Heath. I suspect the OP is making more than necessary considering the porr translation and understanding of gramatical structs Thai's use.
  10. there's a little known natural reaction in Thailand based on the proximity to the equator. There' an unexplained positive attractions between, light poles, power pools, signs and parked trucks. I dont think it's real a magnetic attraction, more of a vortex mini blackhole effect that automatically sucks unsuspecting drivers traveling a certain speed. It also seems to affect the brake systems of vehicles traveling at that same speed. I think it should be studied more .
  11. Liquid sweetener or syrup is common a item often found in coffee shops and certainly in bars and restaurants. why was liquid soap in an unmarked bottle anywhere near the coffee area.
  12. again you try to deflect and blame unnecessarily. There was no need for this reply in the way you did, so yes you are trying to blow it into something its not. You got an apology but wont get another. feel free to ignore me as I will be ignoring you
  13. As I said I replied to a post the forum shows you sent me., a simple mistake but you want to blow this up to something for some reason. That's pretty childish and unnecessary as I already apologized for the error. I'm done discussing this with you so have a good day
  14. Your article and statement are misleading. Cannabis with under 2% THC is legal for transport under medical use, regular full strength cannabis is not. Test the rule at your own risk. There's no need to carry any way as you can buy it tgere
  15. I responded to a reply from you ro me. If the forum attached your comment to me in error than I have no way to know that and apologies for the confusion There was absolutely no sarcasm in my post so not clear what your implying
  16. Here's one recent article and there are more. India is morning back to masking as well. This article also points out that the Chinese are avoiding television mask wearing in ceremonies and sporting events. https://www.japantimes.co.jp/opinion/2022/12/16/commentary/world-commentary/unmasking-xi-jinping/
  17. Your wrong. Airline are required to follow guidlaine issued UNDER IATA REGULATIONS. The the distinction country requires it the airlines must comply. the airline and transit countries can and do set their own guidelines along side the IATA regulations. Do some research. It happen during the hight of covid. As an example either Sweden or Switzerland mandated every transit passenger had to wear mask regardless of destination and I believe had provide a negative test for transit. Those were separate from IATA country guidlines
  18. Probably not a bad as the torid of rude and entitled visitors that the IO deals with every day
  19. No myth and 1 picture doesn't represent the country. Have you been there anytime recently? Don't think so
  20. What country was that in?
  21. That's not accurate info. Chinese wear mask everywhere. Just because they don't show it on TV that's a image control tactic nothing more
  22. And it can be mandated by the airlines the have their own rules aside for the guidance given by destination countries via IATA guidelines
  23. Airlines make there own rules not ones created in Thailand other than entry requirements
  24. Not true. Japanese wear masks constantly even before covid. Also most rural areas in thailand still wear mask almost exclusively. Sure tger may be a couple outlines but most areas I've visited are still masking
  25. It's there service and their rules whether you like it or not. You have choices to follow their directions or go elsewhere.
