you're correct, so you should not come to thailand because you can not seem to grasp logical explanations. Sorry I can not read 5 pages of this nonsense you have a stamp in your passport based of the visa type you applied for when you came to Thailand. Tourist visa, visa exempt ext..... each type of visa grants you a specific amount of time you can stay in the country before you either have to leave or get an extension of time. Either of those time frames is called "permission to stay" and printed on the stamp in your passport and is based on the type of visa originally stamped in your passport. When you use the TM86 or TM87 you are requesting immigration to grant you the option to receive "permission to stay" under whenever new visa type you are wanting to change to and be given the "permission to stay' that the new visa type allows.

Quick shout out to Imm in NST

Yeh it's not a super busy office. I think they processed 34 people yesterday -
Did an extension of stay yesterday at Immigration in Nakhon Si Thammarat. In and out in 15 minutes and that included doc review, general discussion and stamping. All the girls there were great, very helpful and pleasant. The one thing I found odd was that the TM7 form I preprinted was about 1/4 inch shorter than the forms at the desk. They said they couldnt use mine but they transferred all the info to their form for me and I just had to sign it. No queuing or appointments required

Proof of retirement (SSA supporting letter)?
Dan O replied to Jason44's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
They give a "projected" income until you actually apply and start to receive your benefit. That letter outlines the monthly payment projection. Once you start to receive benifits you'll get a letter that details the actual payments but it will not be accepted as proof of income. -
All I can tell you is I walked passed atm's being used as well as money exchange booths. The atm dispense in baht. Shops are also open before immigration as they have re-worked the hallway on the way to immigration and have now separate areas for voa versus reqular category visa immigration.

I passed 2 and a money exchange booth 3 weeks ago in arrival

The onward ticket is based on the airline not immigration. Some will ask some will not. You can use onwardflight.Com and pay to rent a ticket thats valid for 48 hours. You can print it the day before you fly and it will show as valid, if anyone asks to see a ticket. It auto cancels after 48 hours and is about $14 to $20 USD

Nope, treating overstayers like they "overstayed. He's the one that escalated the situation. People are not free to stay in any country the like for as long as they like without doing the proper paperwork, which here in thailand is pretty generous in that regard. -
Here we go with the contingent that continue to claim they are perfectly acceptable and harmless, its the owners that are not responsible and are neglectful in proper training. Unfortunately history and facts are not on your side. Certainly other breeds of dog can inflict damage on occasion but at no where near the incident rate or the level of damage They were breed for decade to exhibit the exact behavior you see happen on a consistent schedule.

Rental Exit Strategy

Sounds like you created this whole delima by not inspecting or even visiting the place before you rented it. Not a smart move on your part. -
Sounds like your sorted out and working. If you want to know about the "one drive" feature send me a pm and I'll review it with you. I have an Acer as well
-
Are you using the version held on your computer or the version that's part of "One Drive" that's connected to the cloud from your computer?

Dan O replied to onebaht's topic in Cryptocurrency News
Your lack of spatial thinking is quite evident and you seem to need to rebut replies you solicit just to try to redeem yourself. You don't want me to reply to your comments directed to me then stop writing them is that simple enough for you to grasp -

It depends on what's written in the contract, they aren't all the same nor are landlords. Some blow it off and some can create a significant issue if they choose -
