Maybe she's not the one that needs to read and educate herself of the truth. Seems it might benefit you as well

He's a nobody and losing sponsors left and right because he's actally unstable and always has always been. He has virtually no talent and rode the coat tails of the rap industry where anyone that puts out any type of music suddenly becomes an icon. He was dumped by Kardashian for reason.

Discharging debt in Thailand
Dan O replied to NorthernRyland's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
There is no way to stop someone from leaving the country unless there's a judgement against them and the passport was siezed. Eith more to that story or not accurate -
It's really not a lot of money to carry for most people but I can understand the concern. Rarely do they ever ask unless they see a history of suspicious visits or suspect she is not capable to support herself. I wouldn't worry about it. There are ATM machines and exchange booths before and after immigration although the rates aren't the best

Not hardly, alcohol testing doesn't work like that. As I already mentioned they were not tested when and where it happened because they left and there have been no reports I've seen saying the were drinking before. They may have but after the fact testing can not prove that. they were found later at a bar drinking and then tested. I'm not defending them and the full story is quite different than the Thai press is posting because their version sells papers and attracts click bait

Where does it say they where at a bar before the incident? The full video shows the Thai man was also instigating the physical assault and continued to attack the French dude who was ealki g away. Driving away afterward isn't fleeing, it's leaving. The Thai hit his head on the curb which cause the serious injury from the accounts in the news. I'm not supporting the French guys but it wasn't an all out attack but just a street fight with a terrible endi g Check your facts before claiming rumors.

Starting a business in Thailand
Dan O replied to racinkc1's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Consult a lawyer and set up an LLC first and then go from there when setting up the actual business. Small pain in the butt but gives you some protection and lays out all the legal requirements -
Two motorcycle riders collide in Pattaya, one killed

Luckily there were only 2 bikes involved. If 3 then very difficult to determine what happened ! Good to know that suicide is not suspected -
How much do the average Thai person earn ?

I'm a little lost in you comments. I have no bubble to burst and on one hand you say something positive then reverse it with an opposite comment. I never said everyone should be doing what I do or that I'm in the majority. What I said is that's a scumbag approach having resturant workers spend their shift at work and if no one comes then you don't pay them. As a business owner that's their problem as a cost of doing business. MY point being if you bring a worker to a restaurant and they stay all day and when no customers come you get No pay. Thats full on BS regardless if others so the same. They spent there day their ready to work. If this was a construction job and the staff stood around, and did nothing or it was raining and they couldnt come to the job site then yeah no work no pay. But that's not what was said. I pay and treat my workers with dignity and fairly as everyone should because they are people not animals or property. If they work they get paid, if I can't sell my product that's my problem not theirs. I also agree that many employers will take a profit over treating someone properly especially if they are migrants. So yeah that aproach is a scumbag act and until more people stop abusing workers here they wont progress At this point there no use discussing this any further some people do right and some people do don't under the guise of doing what's others for a better profit so that justifies taking advantage of others. Those action define character and its good to see where others fall on the moral compress of life -
How much do the average Thai person earn ?
Dan O replied to Baron Samedi's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I know exactly how Thailand works. I have a family here, farm, employ laborers so I have both a working knowledge of how people are treated, their living conditions and what's right and wrong in the way people are treated here. I also know just because others take advantage of people that have little to no choices, that it's still not appropriate or correct. You can justify it any way you want so you can sleep at night but it's still wrong and you should be ashamed. You wouldnt work for anyone under those conditions or treated like that, but it's OK to treat others that way. No moral compress comes to mind -

That's a pathetic approach to employing people and you should be ashamed to not pay workers that come to work. It's your problem to solve if you have no customers not the employee's. Dirt bag move. -

Again a small slice of the workforce and has nothing to do with the OP on average salaries. Good for you and the few that are on that gravy train -

I was laughing the first time when I went to toilet in my life
Dan O replied to parafareno's topic in Pattaya
Welcome to the 20th century. Bidets and washlet's have been around quite a long time and replace the hand held spray or tub filled with water and a bowl typical in the east. More accurate and less mess on the floor from run away sprays -

That's certainly not the norm or common salary ranges and mostly due to being a foreign owned company. -

You are very disconnected with the reality of their living situatuon and the true hardships thai's face living under these conditions. Bury your head in the sand if it helps you feel good as you appear clueless and\ or lack any empathy and understanding. -

I can't believe what you wrote as accurate as rubber farming is labor entensive, not to mention fertilizing, watering, gas for equipment etc compared to the extremely low price of raw rubber brings, it's almost impossible to live on no money for a decade or even a year. Yeah local produce is cheap but that's a small portion of life so unless they live in a shack or they have other income I say not possible. My family has a rubber farm and I know the cost to maintain it and it isn't as you describe.
