Police Commission Votes to Remove 'Big Joke' from Service
Dan O replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There certainly is. Look to the top -
the meters are clearly visible on the dash and not inside some box or hidden from view. They some times cover them with a cloth but never inside a box. If you felt you were cheated then you could have copied his taxi card id and made a complaint. If the meter was hidden from view or inside a box then it was not a real metered taxi

Police Commission Votes to Remove 'Big Joke' from Service

the power of who he's in conflict with has nothing to do with what dirt he knows from his history of working in the various departments and agencies in the govt and the people he's had to deal with over his lifetime. The real power is much higher up the food chain and has been there for quite some time and will remain there for a long time in the future. -

nope never said that at all. Just corrected the original posters comments implying all his money came from corruption which is far from facts. He may very well be corrupt but you or I dont know that, its all speculation that every cop and govt official is. -
Surachate 'Big Joke' Hakparn challenges Thai PM over dismissal
Dan O replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I never said he was good or bad,, I just corrected your misperception which you continue to repeat about most topics you comme t on. Sorry if it hurt your ego to be corrected. You really need to work on comprehension and not jumping to unfounded conclusions about issues and people you know nothing about. I know its probably a stretch since you appear to be so fragile but thats on you. -

It'll be interesting turn if he starts to tell the history of what he knows and who's been involved. He'll land somewhere important just not where he planned as he doesnt fit the ideas of the current admin -

He has plenty if his own money along with his wife and family fortune. Do a Google search and you'll find he's quite wealthy in his own right and not from the presumed corruption -
As I've stated a number of times you are just a troll poster going after clicks and nothing more. You stated exactly that in one of your original posts. I actually think you may be more than one entity posting as your writing style has changed several times. Pathetic life if that all you have to offer and live for since all your posts are made up crap anyway.

USA Self-Employment Tax and Social Security
Dan O replied to ricklev's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
your right I worded it poorly. Part b is deducted automatically.. Part A has an initial required payment before any service is provide. Part A I believe its $1600 for initial visit and you have to already have signed up for part B to get part A coverage. There's also qualifiers for coverage and if you dont then there is a charge for coverage so its hardly free. -

Your speculating again since your original assumption was wrong. he very well may be after power, ego, image, influence who knows, not you or me. There is no figuring out what really drives these people other than they are desperate to maintain their social position and as a foreigner we have no clue outside of that. -

Pattaya to become Southeast Asia’s premier destination
Dan O replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
Certainly this article cant be taken seriously as the changes needed to make it a premiere destination for anything other than the sex trade have little to do with burying electrical cables, fixing roads and sidewalks and cleanng the beach. -
they told you what happened, your card info was skimmed and sold. its normal everywhere in the world that they cancel your card and issue a new one. They investigate the false charges and credit them back. your making a big issue for nothing. You seem to be complaining in all your post on here about whatever issue is in front of you. how were you locked up or detained in Pattaya, you just didnt like your visit.

US Senate Urges Thailand to Uphold Democracy Amid Party Dissolution Fears
Dan O replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Your post is confusing, as it seems to imply that Trump won the election, and his followers had the right to illegally storm the capitol and disrupt the legitimate process of confirmation. -
How to avoid an unwanted ladyboy encounter?
Dan O replied to Alpha84's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Just avoid Pattaya and Patong and Nana Plaza. If you wear a gold necklace then you'll find out real quick. If they're too pretty or want to walk up and give you a hug then walk away. You could also just ask them if they are a girl and they will generally tell you the truth. -
Western Liberals: How Do You Justify Your Stay in Thailand?
Dan O replied to kevozman1's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Seems your off base on a number of your opinions or observations. Too many to list. As for low IQ it seems you may qualify based on your analysis and comparisons. you may have that backward as the Brits and Aussies are the moaners and complainers for the most part. Look at that make up here on this website as a classic example. -

Thailand Grapples with Growing Number of Foreign Beggars
Dan O replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This was a 10 year long "study" and I seriously doubt the accuracy of the implications. Most may be foreigners but they are primarily Loas, Cambodian, Burmese and more recently Chinese and not western tourist. Sure there's the backpacker contingent but they are hardly any real significant numbers. I also question if street people were counted and I doubt they were and most that I've ever come in contact with are Thai but I guess we cant say that now can we?
