  1. Again your example is disconnected from the situation that occurred. Your quoting about gang activity and most of those are drug and alcohol related or infused. Certainly people can get angry without drugs of any type but that isn't the typical angry reaction of someone that's just mad.
  2. That link is not to an official Thai Embassy site but a clone site that offers info and services and isnt connected to Thailand in any way
  3. I have and I've been replying to your comments to me.. Yeah you were. Doesnt matter the guy was a f'n idiot and you have no idea why. Considering the setting there's more a possibility he was than not but you or I will ever know but it certainly is a unconnected comparison you tried make.
  4. That has nothing to do with this situation so don't try to deflect. This wasnt 5 on 1 or even boys against boys. This was a f'n idiot macho man in the gym that assaulted a women not even 1/2 his size without warning and without cause. the police haven't stepped up their part and questioned the driver which isn't uncommon if it's a Thai. The part of the lady being told to deal with insurance is how its done in most all civilized nations.
  5. There is nothing in the regs that states a limit by air entry although that does not mean they can not decide your doing it too much. They do have the 2 land entry limit. You neighbor may have been denied by Imm for what they perceive is too many or some other reason as they have that descretion based on all the information and evidence they see.
  6. popular excuse from body builders trying to claim roids aren't heavily used and don't have the effects that they do. Just because you don't use them doesn't count for much as there's plenty of instances of roid rage to offset your claim
  7. issue staff and security guards with tasers. That tends to slow down the aggression when it gets above normal acceptable levels
  8. They would need to ban all party members and thats not been the case in the past, only the leaders, not that it couldnt happen but highly unlikely
  9. so let me get my understanding straight here. The military with all their armory decide to overthrow the elected govt. The Elected govt discovers the coup as it's happening and can say hey wait a minute I suspend your leaders from military service and by the magic of the written legislation the military suddenly stops the coup and turns around and goes back to the barracks and has a beer and watches some TV. And who does the military report to now that carries enough weight for them to listen to Elected officials that they are in the process of throwing out.
  10. Nope, if dissolved they just move to a new party and come election time they create a new form of MFP just like they did for this election from their last party. They had no problem creating a new party after their last party was dissolved and time and youth is on there side. If it weren't for corruption and the unelected senators they would be in power now. Last election votes showed that. The only reason PT is still pressing for the 10k free money is in hopes of buying future votes and sympathy.
  11. Its my belief that the average Thai knows of all the corruption, doesnt like it, but its gone on so long in their lives and nothing has changed one way or the other, nor will it regardless of who's in power. It's kinda like the war in most middle east countries in there is no one alive today that ever lived in a time where there was no war, so its just part of life and you work around it. The young middle class politicians that have been educated abroad and seen what life , economy and politics can be are the ones that will bring change. They have the momentum and suppprt of the young and it continues to grow they just need to figure out how to get around the landmines and roadblocks laid by the corrupt dinosaurs and then you will see many changes occur. Nothing will ever be perfect here but it can be a lot better for the general population
  12. The whole Thaksin controversy while relevant to the political dinosaurs trying to hold on to power and someone higher up is being promoted by those controlling the media narrative and has little relevance to the next generation of politicians that have already made their presence known and are being very effective and changing the future landscape. The dinosaurs are trying to hold their powerbase as long as possible and believe Thaksin's past popularity is still at the same level it was 2 decades ago and can swing things back to their favor. In realtiy they only amunition they have is the dirty political tricks and corrupt courts they influence. Times are changing and while he's important to them he isnt the power he once was.
  13. Perhaps they should read up on the financial fiasco that just went down in Vietnam within their banking system for some tips on what not to do if they want to stay solvent. People banking with Bankok Bank should check up on the limits of their account protection and consider their risk on their account deposits. Its not over until the fat lady or in this case the fat man sings. I think I hear the music playing in the distance.
  14. maybe next time hook your phone charger up to your car battery and see if that will work
  15. If your "smart" charger has features for stupid people then it should work just fine for you
  16. You are making unfounded moronic statements and claiming that I said them. You are apparently used to being a 4 year old throwing tantrums and expecting to get a candy bar at the end. Its not happening. The thing you need to take the hammer to is not the trickle charger but your head. Im done with this discussion and with you. Have your mom charge your diaper and then better day.
  17. Not sure where you got that i said i would throw out a car battery? I just explained that you were blaming a trickle charger when it didn't do what you thought it would do. If you have a dead car battery have it tested and you'll know if it can be recharged or not but a trickle charger probably isn't gonna do it in any short amount if time as they aren't designed for that
  18. Keep in mind that they held an accounting a few months back to identify people of questionable influence and question them. If memory serves me correctly of the 690+ people of bad influence almost 500 stated that they had already changed their ways, whatever that means. The remainder never committed to change nor did anything ever come of it.
  19. Might want to check that as a trickle charger is meant to charge a battery that is low but not dead with a lower charge rate as to not overheat it but the battery must have some charge. a float charge is meant to charge and recharge a battery to maintain it and has circuitry to stop at full charge and not over charge. A trickle charger is no meant for a completely dead battery.
  20. Perhaps the problem is not the Trickle Charger but your understanding of what it is and how it works. Trickle chargers are not meant for charging a dead battery, they are intended to maintain a charge on a battery that is used very little or in a vehicle that sits for long periods of time without use to keep the batter at a full state of charge.
  21. not just the government
  22. Hopefully free speech will be tolerated when news articles are posted and discussed and not just deleted when someone doesnt like whats said.
  23. Get a quote to pull it and do an implant instead.
  24. are you sure about buying at that age? While technically she could "own" at her age, it may present problems signing legal documents and contracts in the country. I would check with a qualified lawyer, if you havent yet, to make sure you dont end up in a circle with the various govt offices
  25. Can she buy a condo at only 16 years old?
