What you do or dont do to keep yourself active and interested is on you not the so much the place your located in, although Pattaya is over rated for the most part unless that lifestyle is for you. There are plenty of other places in Thailand that are similar or quite different. It's up to you to pick the place that suits you best but you still have control over your lifestyle and activities.

Interesting they want you to arrive 3 hours early due to the automated passport processing when the airline check in counters don't open until 2 hours before boarding and the automated check in kiosks that allow automated early check in dont allow for early bag drop until the same time the check in counters open. hopefully they syncronize everything better. The probable issue is your actions match a "mule" account for laundering money and thats most likely what the hold up is. They are cracking down on this since the beginning of this year. You took money from someone else with the intent to let them "use" your account intending on forwarding the money on to a third party, that seems sketchy. Even though you never finished the transaction to the Russian you and the American alerted the police of what you were intending on doing. Thats money laundering in a vague sense. You can claim all day you are innocent and never did the transaction but the first half match a "mule" account. Every illegal caught claims they are innocent but most arent. You may be and your best defense is all the documentation available to show what the intent was why it happened why it was stopped and that the american agrees since it was his money and the burden is on him to prove he sent you legal money. It will cost a load of money if you to go thru court if you cant get the lawyer to sit with you the american and the police to straighten it all out.

NST has a Krungsri Bank a few KM from the imm office on the same road. That office is one of easiest and better offices to deal with.

Krungsri Bank should open an acct with the stamp in passport and proof of an address. They are very accommodating and when there's any question they call the main branch in Bkk to confirm. What you were told at whatever bank you went to is bs

In the past E visa system typically requested copies of all stamped pages for the last 12 months unless something has changed. I know they have made a couple other changes, not sure if that's still required

Well you do need money to run a country on dont you? Im betting your home countries charges taxes of various tyoes to support infrastructure?? This area (lack of financial collection) is one of the bigger problems the country has outside of all the corruption. Departments don't talk to each other and departmemtal budgeting gets no post use scrutiny and are run as feifdoms. The dependence on tourism alone doesnt work as covid proved as will any future global crisis and inflation. As much as everyone likes to bash the current PM at least he has been out initiating business agreements and promoting the country for industries outside the country, unlike most of the past PM's and certainly the last govt. China provides so much of the low cost products and skates away without paying tax on it. They get the preferentially treatment on mail going to the USA who subsidizes their transportation creating unfair advantage against local industry using postal delivery systems. Its a more complicated world we live in and to continue as a desired destination they need to improve infrastructure as other destination countries are and have. Hopefully the money goes to where its suppose to go in the end.

You should never try to use an agent to get a US visa as it is not possible regardless of what you may read or here, but you know that now. They best an agent can do is help fille out the paperwork and double check it to make sure you have all the correct document but all that is available on line for free but that is all. They can not submit or apply for a visa for you.
