  1. Hi guys

I'm travelling up to Lopburi next month and wondering if there's any course in that area,

    I've seen online

Narai Hill Golf And Country Club, Lopburi,

    Jompol Por Golf Course, Lopburi

anyone played at these courses ? are there any others?

  2. I've seen this chap around town, and I must say his colour scheme could do with a change/Revamp, how long has he been at it 1 or 2 years?

maybe the Thai National colours of Red white & Blue :Thaiflag: or just Red for Xmass!!!

a change is as good as a rest!!!!

can I ask about this guys history? or should I do a search

  3. I tried to get information about rentals on their website, then when I went into the shop in VT1, they said this one is unavailable or cannot contact the owner, then they'd show me some other flats,

not very well run if you ask me

  4. I think, itunes will give you the option to transfer ALL items in your current Itunes library to your new device. I have 3GS & iPad, and can put most of the compatible apps on each, all other files music, photo's & videos etc copy as normal.

if you sell your iphone, you can restore it( wipe it clean) or leave the stuff on it, if another user trys to sync it with another PC it will wipe most of the data except the Free apps I think.

  5. As previously said, you will have to wait for the next update of firmware 4.0.?, Apple said they will release one soon, maybe in 1-2 weeks or 1-2 months.

Check this forum for any news, I am waiting on the new update as I am running 3.1.3 just now.

You have now learned about, think before clicking YES!

buy a cheap Phone for now, get your contacts from the SIM

Don’t worry it will come soon

  6. You installed an app that alerts you to messages via the status bar. Lol are you just installing things without knowing what they do?

I was checking the app's i was running last night, and found it was as you said alert/notification for Iblacklist, from spam SMS. I'm glad that's working.

I emptied the folder and now it's gone.

  7. Can someone please explain what this icon means? It appeared yesterday, the phone has been working well for 2 weeks.

The Jpg is not from my iphone 3gs (jb), but another found on the net.

The white arrow points toward the exclamation in a bubble?

  8. On another post someone mentions if you sign up for the unlimited internet blackberry package for 599 from AIS. Call them; say you want to switch to the BlackBerry package, when they ask, tell them you have a blackberry. They take your word for it. 400 baht per month saved.

Is this true has anyone done this?

Will it work for the IPad 3 G also????

  9. HI

does anyone knows what the current prices at MBK or anywhere else? for an iPad 3G, are now

Have they changed since the release price at the start of this topic?

    PS

what's the best 3G package on offer just now

true move have a 3gs package for 700 Baht 1GB with 300 mins of call

  10. Apple's latest 3.1.3, was designed to BRICK all the 3GS that have a earlier jailbreak

They were sneaky mentioning the update will improve battery life.

BUT it was a lock, to teach them all a lesson. Stop jailbreaking…you can downgrade to an earlier firmware 3.1.2, but you need to make a back up, using some other program. This is too late for you now.

Many many users now have a brick, and will have to wait for the OS4 to come out.

By all accounts (geohot, or million7) have a solution ready, but they will wait until OS4 & the Iphone 4 is out before the release, just wait latest gossip is 21st June………..

  11. Hi

I am looking at getting an monthly package, mostly for checking my email from time to time on my Iphone 3GS, I’ve seen true have one package for the iphone Lite 399 baht per month with 100mins of calls and 200mb of Edge with some other bit’s thrown in,

    http://www.truemove.com/iphone/eng/price_plan.htm

the website says the offer has expired, but I’m sure they’ll have something similar.

What do Dtac and AIS have, for GPRS/EDGE connections, for 1 month.

I’m overseas just now but will be back early June,

  12. What do you want from a game of golf?

Some guys just want to play 18 holes, they don’t really care the condition, or the course, they don't even count the score!!

they just want to pass the time, get out of the house.

I like to play good quality courses MOST of the time, I can have some fun from time to time but playing good golf on good courses, is a reward for all my hard work I'm doing in life.

My friend plays down at century chonburi / ban chang? I think that’s the name, green fee is 350 (ish) plus caddie not sure how much but it’s low cost, however the condition he tells me is not as good as green valley, I said why not play green valley?

If he buys a green valley membership say 100,000 after the initial outlay then it would work out only 100 baht more to play than century.i know 100,000 is not small money but he can resell after 2,3,4,5,6, up to him?

But some people don’t want to listen!!

I told him if he plays once a week every week, which he does anyway then he should look at Rayong green valley or even Siam, I’m a member at both, and if you crunch the numbers, play between 60-75 games per year, I would say Siam is a better deal all in.

Siam you pay 25,000 baht for 1 year green fee, then 280 for caddie every game=

    60 games/caddie fee =15,000 + 25,000 =40,000 for 1 year( next year maybe 5,000 more for green fee,)

Rayong green Valley members pay 450 green fee 200 caddie (I think ish) so

    60 x 650=39,000

Compare Rayong green valley to Siam, you can play Siam 1,2,3,4,5 times per week!!

Less journey time! More stop off’s if you like that sort of thing, MANY MANY guest's complain that Siam makes them take a cart, and it must stay on the cart path, i like that rule as (long as i can walk) it keeps the course in the best possible shape, i think(hope) Siam will be less crowded during the high season, as it has such a bad reputation!! :D

Yes playing the same course can be boring, but some guys play the same course because it’s cheaper!!!.

You have to put up with some stuff from the starter at Siam but most of the other courses have similar issues with something.

thats my RANT for today!! :)

  13. Ok 2 questions for you or maybe 3

1st your comments on Siam old course, many people complaining about the carts rule, however what are your views,

2nd any news on the new course at Rayong Green Valley

3rd SRIRACHA INTERNATIONAL any news on this?

Great site I will be forwarding a link to all my buddies oversea’s and in Pattaya,

As for me, if you play golf more than once a week and live in Pattaya you are a fool not to join and play at Siam., absolutely fabulous course.
