BTW are you sure you previously cut and paste the name? As I find it impossible to cut and paste anything into the TP system. Particularly annoying for things like passport number, hotel booking number and insurance policy number as these are long and easy to make a small mistake on.

 

COE on the other hand was easy to paste into.

 

Having called them twice (after innumerable tries and hours on hold to get through), I can assure that the "help line" is useless.  It is also answered by non-English speakers.

I have put in now easily 10 hours and getting nowhere one it. By contrast I did the COE process in September and that was comparatively easy. (Also did nto require converting every file to jpg).

Thailand Pass doesn’t ask for your visa type, status or length, so in theory you can buy “"COVID-19 insurance with minimum coverage of 50,000 USD” for approx. 14-30 days and get into the country, once in the country you can stay longer

This is against regulations, and can cause a lot of problems.

They can lose their SHA+ approval over recommendations like that if they are in Bangkok, as it clearly breaks the Ministry of Public Health's protocols.

If you do not use the arranged transportation they have to report this.

Regarding the Insurance coverage, we have 2 choices

1.       Simply get an insurance in name only that will be approved for entry to LOS, this insurance will be of no real use apart from getting you in, I got one such insurance last 2020-21 it cost 11,500 baht for 12 months COVID coverage where the deductible was 300,000, so it wasn’t of any real use apart from getting me into the country.

2.       Get a proper Insurance that will actually cover you any ANY COVID costs if and when you return to LOS, the expected costs “could’ be close contact quarantine costs where you have tested negative but are forced to quarantine facility because of being in close contact, this expense needs to be specifically mentioned in your policy as many polices only cover if YOU have tested positive ONLY.

if its During your Test & Go, You cannot use your usual driver, unless he’s employed by the SHA+ -AQ hotel

Part of test & go states you can ONLY use HOTEL transport at airport collection, you cannot use any other, once you’ve cleared immigration and baggage collection you are Shepherded to the appropriate driver for your designated hotel, you cannot wander around the airport.

if its after completing your Test & go you can walk if you want, and save even more money

I’m not disagreeing with your post but maybe time is up for him being away from the family will be huge, it almost impossible to quantify how much it hurts him.

We could discuss the merit of managing a club who competes for titles and plays in Europa Possibly Champs league.

But he always needs a challenge, playing same teams 4 or even 5 times a season must be a pain, can you imagine playing against St Mirren-Livingstone-Ross County almost 20times in last 4 seasons, 20 times Geezo Gee’s a break
