  1. Are you using Air Asia for both flights? In that case they would help you in case of a delay.
  2. Most likely, those "problems" will be in the form of questioning without any consequences. They do this to many frequent visitors, although only a tiny number of them gets a real problem, like denied entry.
  3. Even if they did, they would most likely require you to pay the bills out of pocket first, and then reimburse you after checking the evidence.
  4. The victim of September 2020 scaremongering? A lot of people fell in that trap. While others legally stayed on Covid extensions for almost 3 years.
  5. Being Laosian, Cambodian or Burmese is better than a Westerner. They can stay in Thailand for cheap.
  6. Because there is no English sound corresponding to an unaspirated "p" (ป). Of course, it's possible to use "p" for the unaspirated ป and "ph" for the aspirated พ. But again, people will try to pronounce "ph" as "f", as heard many times (Fuket instead of Phuket lol). There is simply no correct way to transliterate Thai into plain English letters without creating a specialized transliteration system where letters would have a new meaning, different from English.
  7. Why are you doing the prosecutor's job? The are a lot of circumstances. She must get a lawyer to defend herself in the best possible way. Of course I feel sorry for the deceased person and his family, but making the poor woman a scapegoat will not serve anything.
  8. She shouldn't have admitted to anything. She should think about her defense and get a lawyer first. There are plenty of factors that contributed to this incident.
  9. This is just a proof that "3 days in Malaysia" is a pure scam.
  10. I've been effectively living here 3 years as a tourist. Perfectly legally.
  11. This was in Padang Besar, but I've heard similar stories from other Malaysian border checkpoints.
  12. When they put a "refused entry" stamp in your passport, the stamp contains a particular reason, like "insufficient funds" etc. They cannot arbitrarily refuse entry for no reason. Or they can (and do) if they falsify the evidence and cite a false reason. Which is a crime, mind you.
  13. As an experienced tourist, you should be aware of different kinds of scams. Too many crooks out there wanting our hard earned cash.
