  1. I took my blood pressure before and after drinking coffee - the increase was noticeable.
  2. I thought most Myanmar people in Thailand are working migrants, same as Cambodians. Didn't know Thailand can give them an asylum (or anyone else, for that matter). Btw, do Cambodians need a visa and work permit to work in Thailand?
  3. It doesn't make much sense to me. I understand why education or retirement visas are considered "non-immigrant" as they don't lead to any permanent (immigrant) status in the country. But what about marriage or work visas? They are called non-immigrant too, although they do lead to a permanent status (permanent residence or citizenship). Or am I missing something?
  4. Are they same as sponsoredworkpermit.com? I contacted them before about Non-B visa, and they quoted me a ridiculous price of around 100k per year plus around 10k every month!
  5. The money doesn't have to be in the Thai baht, it can be in any acceptable currency.
  6. But since you're already off covid extensions, there should not be a problem. The problem was that I was on a covid extension and they told me I should use an airport to clear it. Which of course was bullsh*t.
  7. Can you tell more about the "pushing". Because I had the same situation when they refused to do withdrawal because of no raised numbers and their "new machine".
  8. I used a visa run company, but they couldn't help. I was left on my own with my problems.
  9. There was a report here from a guy with multiple Covid extensions who was refused exit on the Thai side of the Cambodian border. I had the same problem too, but managed to cross the border, although it was not easy.
  10. At least this time they didn't falsify the evidence (he actually didn't have 20k on him and didn't have a hotel booking). I wonder how they could refuse him entry if he had these.
  11. A lot of people get interrogated at airports, but only a small amount get actually refused entry., and probably for a good reason (illegal work etc.). So if you're not easily intimidated by the boys in brown, you have nothing to be afraid of.
  12. Thai banks don't impose any restrictions on Russian citizens, as per Thailand's neutral stance in this conflict. In fact, hordes of Russian people opened accounts with Bangkok bank after Russian debit cards were banned by Visa and Mastercard. As for Americans, some banks are reluctant due to extra paperwork required by the US authorities.
  13. So the whole "consecutive" thing is just a big piece of BS.
  14. Yeah, the whole story is kinda shady. And all those female megaera teachers regularly abusing schoolchildren. Of course, "they suspected that he was up to no good".
