  1. No foreign mafia, only Thai mafia hahaha
  2. Thailand is not about business. Hard to make money here.
  3. What do you expect of a military junta?
  4. Do you respect them for being one of Hitler's allies?
  5. During WW2, Thailand was one of Hitler's allies
  6. In the same way, almost half the world supported Germany during WW2. There were a lot of countries devoid of colonies and other first-world privileges who were eager to turn the tables.
  7. Perfectly normal, considering how many elderly or mentally unstable individuals reside there
  8. That's what is called quality journalism
  9. You can't drink, but you can smoke!
  10. Pff, anti-vaxxers knew it all along
  11. Or unless he said something against the war
  12. There is no immigration there
  13. Not so much. Basic rooms start from 2000-3000 baht per month. Street food is cheap, 50 baht for a decent meal with chicken and rice. A set of clothes (shorts, tee and flipflops) is 300 baht. Thailand is one the cheapest places in the world to be honest.
  14. Some years, April was even cool
  15. In my opinion, April's hotness is way overrated. It maybe just a couple degrees Celsius hotter than the other months, not a big difference
  16. You don't have an air conditioner?
  17. Here is the list of countries that have only 2 land border entries in a calendar year: https://image.mfa.go.th/mfa/0/3dgiLTZZOj/migrate_directory/news-20161229-231325-476986.pdf
  18. It's because there is no limitation on land border entries for them. Nothing to enforce. Same as for Russians. For the countries that have this limitation (most Western countries), it is enforced.
  19. 2 land border entries per calendar year is the only rule that is set on paper and actually enforced. All the other made-up rules like 6 months in a year as a tourist or whatever are pure speculation.
  20. Nothing's gonna change. They may save face making it technically illegal like prostitution, but in practice it's gonna be the same.
  21. What did you expect of Thailand? Life is cheap here
  22. It is enforced. Even border run companies cannot circumvent that and simply won't take you on a trip if you did 2 land border entries this calendar year
  23. I'm not sure if marrying a government employee makes you entitled for free medical services, but it's definitely possible for a foreigner to have a Thai social insurance. And no need to be married for that.
