  1. That was no miracle, but what the situation dictated. The Emergency Decree was in place, land borders were closed, Covid was pandemic. Now everything is different.
  2. Unlocking the phone can be done very easily. There are a lot of shops doing that.
  3. It's easier to get money back to your ATM card because there are some protections by the payment network (Visa/Mastercard). They can do a "chargeback" pretty easily. In case of a compromised banking app, it's not so easy to get money back.
  4. If it's the bank's fault. For example, if your money was physically stolen from the bank's vault or the internal bank systems were hacked.
  5. You will be "reimbursed" only if police find the thief and take your stolen money from them.
  6. For really large sums, it makes sense to have only one way to access the account - with a passbook and passport. No banking app or ATM card.
  7. When you opened an account, you agreed to their terms and conditions, which say that it's your responsibility to prevent unauthorized access to your banking app.

  9. I think covid extensions now are granted only to those who entered on a tourist visa or visa exempt. They stopped giving them to education and other non-tourist visa holders.
  10. What kind of report? You mean a complaint? Clearly that was a violation of the law, since there is no limitation on entries by air.
  11. Wait. This is about the Emergency Decree, and not Covid visa extensions. I know, they've gone hand in hand so far, but they are not identical. As for now, it's not clear whether Covid extensions will be allowed after the current deadline of August 24.
  12. This is just scaremongering. There is no limitation on airport entries. And a 1 year ban is a total nonsense. The reasons for a ban are clearly defined and always involve overstay.
  13. There will be no problem if you come back later, but of course within 60 days that you applied for.
  14. Anyway they can bark several times before getting killed, which may alert you.
  15. To answer your question, yes, consulates are issuing tourist visas. You can enter by air or by land.
  16. Why do you need three 2-month visas if you can extend each visa by 1 month and have a 6-month stay with just 2 visas?
  17. Meesuk are doing it, but from Bangkok. And the price is 3500 baht.
