My impression was the opposite. Thai women are more open to dating foreigners, even middle class women. Paradoxically, even though Thailand was never officially colonized, it is more westernized than Vietnam. Vietnam is very nationalistic in this sense, dating foreigners is not a commonplace.

Here's my two cents: The concept of Hooters in Thailand is not viable, especially in Pattaya, especially on Beach Road. There is no lack of available "hooters" already, so there is no need to pay for overpriced beer just to look at pretty girls in short shorts.

With visa exempt of course. Today I did my 4th land border entry in a calendar year (Satun). Before I had 3 in Nong Khai. I don't know whether it's my passport (Russian) that allows me to do that or the "2 land border entries" rule is not strictly enforced. Or maybe both are true?
