    Does anyone have an experience doing a border hop to Laos? I mean, a one day trip to get a fresh entry stamp, no Thai visa required. Which border crossing is best to use for this? I'm planning to depart from Bangkok. Why I wanna do a border hop to Laos instead of Cambodia? To save a page in the passport, otherwise wasted on a Cambodian visa (my passport does not require a visa to enter Laos).

    That's why you shouldn't use a bank transfer for payment. Very hard to get money back in case of mistake. Credit cards give you more protection.

    It's not luck. Before Krungsri was okay with tourist visas, but not anymore.

    Give up on Krungsri. They will all tell you the same thing. Just a year ago all the branches were okay with tourist visas, but now the rules are different.

    Without a work permit doesn't mean with a tourist visa. People open accounts with Non-imm visas without a work permit.

    Years ago everything was different. I opened an account with Krungsri on a tourist visa, but now the rules have changed.
