What is your definition of required? I throw any foisted on me to the rubbish onboard why do IOs not punish me somehow, or even ask for them most of the time? I never said I do not use boarding passes. I simply use mobile boarding passes as much as possible and if they want to know what flight I arrived via they can ask for it. The main reason I hate paper boarding passes is gate agents insist on rudely and carelessly marking on them using my passport as their clipboard, which I cannot tolerate . I do not want any more random pen marks on my passport facial photo page.

Sniff the reeking buns of angels Thai angels this time -
You mean nonstop right? Direct and non-stop are NOT the same. Brazil is a huge country but how many people do you think per day fly from Brazil to Thailand including transit to nearby countries?

So, not always my choice. I go with the flow I can pick some goods out from between the egg slime Then a plate of barbecue on green noodles from the side menu

Rolled cash in and out of 3 month CDs all last year. 1099-s should be yuge. 2023 brought booming CD rates for savers, but tax season realities are coming https://www.freep.com/story/money/personal-finance/susan-tompor/2024/01/03/taxes-cd-interest-1099-int-forms/72082731007/

Bland boiled vegetables, fish balls and meat. The only thing you can really taste is the dipping sauce Then your Thai friend cracks two god damn eggs over it That completely ruins it for me

No idea. Then last month a man flew to the US with no documents at all. ihttps://www.businessinsider.com/stowaway-passenger-no-ticket-passport-visa-scandinavian-airlines-fbi-airport-2023-12#:~:text=A man flew to the,he landed in LA%3A FBI&text=A man was found traveling,Ochigava with being a stowaway. Probably a russkie spy never heard anything more about it.

That is my point. Checking in from England or bum scum Louisiana with poorly educated jobsworths referencing boilerplate nonsense from their terminals. I have read ludicrous reports even you need a passport with 6 month’s validity When I travel from Singapore with the actual Singapore airlines or Scoot experience no checks or questions whatsoever. The baggage check machine at Changi term 1 is behind here. You simply insert your passport again. There is a man there but no reason for him to even touch your passport as long as the baggage tag prints

I only comment on flying from Singapore on a one way ticket. Check on online. Download app. No need for paper boarding pass, no so-called “flipping thru the passport” for a visa. No questions at all and near zero human interaction. If you have a connecting flight from Brum or with the tattooed teenagers at Monroe Louisiana working for United you would probably have some hassle trying to fly in on a one way ticket.

Screenshots of QR codes are frequently not accepted. For security reasons. Same other countries. I find the mobile life to be convenient, It does take planning downloading, registering and battery life but I have all the airline apps I frequent nice to get on a plane without bits of paper Dont think for a minute however airline CEOs give a fig about the environment, it is all for their management purposes and cost saving. Fewer printers to maintain. Less staff when you tag your own bag and check in at a machine. Their are airports already where facial recognition gets you thru. Forget your so called privacy. Eventually paper boarding passes will be abolished. Meanwhile some LCCc charge a heavy fee if you dont bring print, or go mobile. Buying a new printer would be cheaper https://tickernews.co/ryanair-charges-140-to-print-boarding-pass/

I dont know EXACTLY how far behind the times Thailand airport immigration management system is but from the crew arrival area in other country can see Immigration whiteboard with the passenger numbers and nationality breakdown of a list flights arriving. Countires all have APIS systems the IO should be able to see what flight one arrived via when they scan passport, but..maybe Thailand will abolish the nineteenth century ink chops someday
-
Works until it doesnt. I can understand making things easy for the IO but What are they going to do deport you? I have flown to Thailand hundreds of times I know what the sign says. I throw it in the bin, ”purposely to shame” them. If a paper boarding pass is so required airlines should make an announcement onboard for the first time travelers to save their boarding passes. Thailand’s aviation authority should instruct Korean air and Scoot airlines and others to ban mobile boarding passes to Thailand. Fake apps should not be sold on Apple or Google play. Not likely they will be able to make QR codes that will get people thru airport checkpoints and gate readers anyway.

Recently I had to take Japan domestic flight regarding ridiculous bits of paper, they win. 4 bits by the time I boarded, all of it into the bin! Boarding pass passage of security check point certificate 2nd boarding pass auto prints at the gate reader baggage check sticker, not shown *Yes I broke my own rule even though ground staff said my heavy crew bag was OK. The chance of ANA losing the bag or having drugs planted on a single leg domestic flight in 🇯🇵 is probably near zero. 4 bits of paper! I thought WE will save the climate by going paperless and green? Then they give disposable earphones to listen to distorted noise mostly in Japanese. Free wifi onboard why not install a bluetooth system maybe and let us use our own quality earphones most travellers already have?

I’m not sure what you are saying I’m talking about international arrivals even at the Chiang Mai airport international arrivals counter there is a bit of paper that says present boarding pass. My boarding pass is in my Apple iOS wallet or in the trash on the airplane. If that is is unacceptable they can check their records or even send me back. I do not care. Requirement? Utter pish I have flown to Thailand hundreds of times over 26 years asked for a “boarding pass “ a hand full of times. Meaning 3-5 times
-
It should be or it must be? If the IO want to know what flight I came off they can ask. Here is the check in kiosks at Changi airport for Scoot airlines. No reason for me to stop here, I check in online, boarding pass on mobile, no “flipping thru the passport” for an visa, onward ticket or the most ridiculous lie in The history of air travel to Thailand of 6 month passport validity needed. Leave that to the tattooed teenagers of Hot Springs, Arkansas Delta airlines check in counter. Even if you have checked baggage (a mugs game ) all you have to do is put your passport facial page into their machine.
