I think you may have just elevated Thai news reporters to a position far higher than they deserve!

Thaksin is still revered up here out in the sticks. If he was to return there would but a white horse with a golden saddle and the road would be covered with orchids. Prayuth....no such luck!

There's a storm brewing and it will get dirty and people will get dead. Not because I say so, it's a historical fact. Only a few short years ago ordinary people were killed protesting. All they want is a fair go on a level playing field....ia that to much to ask?

Or more PLA members.
You know who is bringing in the faceless minions to assist with future planning to deal with protesters? Would be interesting to sea how many have Hong Kong stamps in their passport about the time of the crackdown...but then...they may not have stamps.....

"A 49-year-old male freelancer returned from Kuwait on October 21 and tested positive in a Chonburi state quarantine facility on October 24."
Used to peruse the Coconut bar in the evenings back in the day but I never saw any male freelancers. Maybe he was from Phuket or the islands???

For reference from "Maritime News":-
Passenger ro-ro cargo ship SEATRAN FERRY 12 (ex- OLIVE MARU NO.8) was caught in rough weather in Taiwan Strait off Kaohsiung Taiwan, and issued distress signal, late at night Oct 23. Taiwan Rescue services launched SAR, five ship’s crew were found in the water, floating in life jackets, all were rescued, two of them suffering from injures, but all are understood to be safe, luckily. 5 crew remain missing, SAR is ongoing.
SEATRAN FERRY 12 understood to be bought by Thailand SEATRAN FERYY company in Japan earlier this year, the ship was under way from Japan to Thailand, Gulf of Siam, to be deployed on Gulf passenger lines. All 10 crew are reportedly, Thai nationalities.
Passenger ro-ro cargo ship SEATRAN FERRY 12, IMO 8877849, GT 1037, built 1994, flag Tuvalu, manager SEATRANS FERRY CO., Bangkok.(Interesting to note a "ro-ro" vessel sailing in rough seas - flooded vehicle deck??)
The bilge pumps would have coped if the engine was running to provide power...which seems strange to me having traveled on similar ships. Because the vehicle deck is set low to aid in stability there are usually 2 engine rooms with 2 diesel engines and 2 propeller shafts one on each side. If one engine goes out you still have the second to provide auxilary power and limited propulsion.

"Not many nations left to attract now" You maybe proved wrong. I think the Eskimo people are an as yet untapped source. ????

I tend to turn zombie movies off, how does it usually end up for the host nation?
From what I can see it won't be long before we get to see first hand!
But what I know now is when you kill a zombie use a silence so you don't attract all the other zombies. For some reason their attracted to noise, hot chicks and Brad Pitt...but not necessarily in that order. ????

Will take much more than that to entice people to buy now....well Westerners. The government must think because they live in a bubble the world outside Thailand doesn't know whats going on in Thailand. Soon to be retired William and Sarah from Buckinghamshire have done their due diligence and decided Malaysia would be a nice place for a holiday home. Vietnam and Myanmar are on their short list but after several visits to Malaysia they are pretty much sold.

Got his 12000 units yesterday
Got a pix of the dog?
The Aussies aren't denying the creator was Japanese and I am pretty sure Cambell and Omura got paid for their trouble.

That is a complete joke now they have unleashed the yellow shirt brigade. And not talking about the old fa-rt-s who are brain dead and given flags to wave after they are trucked in by the military vehicles.
So this is saying: We must find a better way to lobotomize and sterilize the young so this never happens again and then we stay in power as it has always been without blood shed. I am not giving my power up and will not resign. Why should I have to!
The regime PPP prefers to use....... This says it all here. Prefers to use but probably does not not consider squashing them outright.
Probably no one sees this special get together in parliament will do anything. Just more smoke and mirror BS. They know what the younger generation and many of the older ones want and they do not want to give in or give them any of the demands. So it will escalate to blood shed or mass suppression used by the regime. I hope I am wrong and they do the better for the nation and not just for themselves as usual.
You seem to have your finger on the pulse of democracy in Thailand....or is it the rumblings from the traffic in the street that make it appear there is a pulse but in fact it's only vibrations! I for one lament the passing of FFP who could have helped bring back a steady and strong pulse.

"The centre is considering the option of granting permanent residence to buyers of condominium units" And just like that you have permanent residency, yet those of us who have been here for years and married to a Thai girl are just permanent tourists. Bar-steeds!

Around my area the only hot looking babes are 18 and under and off limits if your a farang, and or married to a Thai girl. But they dress like hillbillies which I find amusing. The real sleepers are the smoking hot Burmese babes that do fruit picking in February, March and April. Myanmar must be like a gold mine for beautiful women!

Damm cold weather! I didn't move to Thailand to freeze my titts off for 3 months of the year. It will get worse. After feeding the fish in the dam (daily job) at 6.00am I had to wipe the fog off the rear view mirrors on the bike.

As I have explained previously there are 70+ government hospitals throughout the provinces of Thailand. If each hospital had one extra person die each week it's not going to show up as anything drastic like 70 dying in the one hospital. And they can claim the death was due to pneumonia or heart disease or diabetes and how can you dispute a death certificate signed by a doctor? That's about 3600 deaths in a year. Those dying from pneumonia or heart disease or diabetes would run into the hundreds of thousands a year!

Thanks for posting that. The future of the citizens of the world will be bleak if these Rs ols get their way. I know back in Australia the scum in politics will be all for it. For too long governments the world over have ignored what is right for their people.
