On the subject of being locked out of your bank in Thailand : Don't these incredible high rollers with private jets coming out of their ears, have a thai debit/credit card like i have that you can use worldwide to withdraw money and pay for purchases ?
Not to mention your banking app and deemoney to transfer from thailand to European countries....
Sorry no time to type more, i am going from my home in Hua Hin to the beach in my private helicopter to spend my 300 baht per day.
Mate, you should stop riding your bicycle while you are wearing virtual reality goggles. Your
helicopterbicycle may have an accident! ???? -

First it was China, now U.K., & Germany, looks like we're going around the world before the truth happens
There was a movie once called "Around the World in 80 Lies" starring Somchai someone or another. It was a tragic comedy! ????

I ordered some Redcliffe beans just recently, but I was a bit disappointed. There is no date stamp on the packet and there was little aroma when I opened the packet or when I ground the beans. It is clearly Arabica, but the taste is unremarkable.
I avoid that brand too. Average quality but my problem was I paid for the beans and delivery but they never came. I emailed a couple of times but no response. Got onto Facebook and it woke them up! They don't get a repeat order!

11/ If they take 1% out of the US$250 billion in foreign reserves to help the ordinary people get through this mess they have mishandled will this be seen as a good move or a bad move by the international investors?

Those Chatree barsteeds want another 500.000 rai starting with the hill next to our village Kho Kheow going South towards Ban Nam Om in Phetchabun province. This area includes family land. Including Aunties and Uncle about 450 rai. 60 rai is our family of which 20 rai is Tiks when mar departs. But after seeing the problems with Phichit mine the locals here are fighting back. If the miner wins we can say goodbye to air quality, our water supply and something of a pieceful existence...as well as a huge chunk of land and the livelihood derived from it.

I think there is enough precedents in Thai recent history for everyone to understand what is happening. Very soon it will be the Black shirts opposing the Yellow shirts opposing the Red shirts....and maybe a reappearance of the White shirts to make it an even number! ????

Stupid is an epidemic worse than the Wuhan China virus. The Wuhan China virus will eventually be controlled but not sure about the Stupid epidemic!

I've noticed Prayut is looking very very old like he has aged 20 years since taking over...or he is sick and it's being keep secret.
And if by some miracle the students can facilitate change I hope that Future Forward can come back and be part of the new political scene.
My ultimate question is: Will a future leader and government continue to treat married expats like long term tourists or will they allow us to be, without to many hoops to jump through, permanent residents?

Because 7 days would miss a significant number of infections.
10 days on the other hand will catch 95% of them.
Very big difference.
The bigger questions is why only for "tourists from "ow risk countries". Would make sense IMO to reduce it to 10 days across the board.
"10 days on the other hand will catch 95% of them." The 5% could become a significant number of infected people as the number of travellers/tourists increases.
14 days is barely enough time. To add a safety factor it should be 21 days.

Why can't we all just be allowed to make our own and feed any excess into the grid as free storage?
Why does their always need to be bidders and bribes?
That's what I did back in Oz! The government paid for one kW and I paid for the other. Don't hurt that one of my sons best friend's was an installer! Saved big $$$'S.

While in Muang Phitsanulok the other week we had to go from the centre of town to Bangkok Hospital and got caught at the railway. It was only a light engine move travelling slow but there were scooter people who couldn't wait. Crazy huh!

Thailand lost its charms 15 years ago.
I first came 18 years ago with my Aussie partner and I though Thailand had a never ending supply of nubile young charmers and by day 2 I was deeply regretting having bought Sharon. 15 years ago I Came on my own and found heaven on earth. We See it differently ay!

Ah, this is another one of those favoured TVF anti-China lines. Yes, beware of bullet trains carrying tanks and missiles because that is certainly the way they will invade.
Pretty sure China has more effective ways to invade a country than by going by hard wired train lines that are easily destroyed - after all the Thais know where they are. They have a pretty large and effective air force and navy you know.I get your point but the reality is China could secure the line within the spaces of a day. They have plenty of military resources. But it wouldn't come to that. With the current mob of morons still in charge the whiter flag would be up lickerty spit. Kissing Rs has its benefits.

"It sucks to be on the outside looking in" That's a homeless hungry person looking in a restaurant window. I am guessing here but now the folks in Britain who want to come back have the same feeling....just not necessarily hungry! ????

Why not have solar panels in the boot that foldout...or better still the body of the car is one big solar panel??? If wonder boy can make roof tiles that act as solar panels surely he can make car bodies as solar panels.
-
I am guessing this is another case of the brainiacs in charge not thinking it through before they did the big announcement. And I know Thai's are experts at burning stuff...but bio-mass in a country that already has a lot of pollution??? But I will admit I am biased towards solar energy. And I do know the environmental cost of producing aluminium and the cells but it's far better than bio-mass. With solar energy the power is needed during the day and that's when it's produced. The gas and coal plants can handle the nighttime load.

To make a business or profit prediction, I would assume that usually a team of specialists puts their heads together, and after hard mental toil they'll come to a conclusion.
In Thailand, they just think it up while having a morning dump.
"In Thailand, they just think it up while having a morning dump." And yet 9 out of 10 decisions I have made under the same circumstances have turned out great! I guess it matters how much effort you put in to get the job done!

More storms around than you can poke a stick at. The wife and I were on the motorbike yesterday and got hit with a torrential downpour. Down in Bangkok the rain may go away but the storm front will be there for quite a while...if you follow my drift. Will history repeat itself?
