why would you make the assumption she was in the wrong when you have no data

he could just as well have cut her off, not even bother to look if he was cutting someone as he decided to cut a lane
Oh you mean driving like a Thai? Highly doubtful as he was white...

Is what you write reality or just theory?
There will always be places where "others" are not welcome. Maybe i.e. a bouncer won't let them in. Or the "others" will soon realize that they are unwelcome inside.
We won't be able to eliminate that kind of behavior.
But we all have lots of choices. We go to the places which we like and avoid the places which we don't like.
Let's assume there is a restaurant which does not like me as their guest. And then let's assume they are forced to let me in. Would I would want to go to such a place? Sure not!
They are jealous because we (farangs) always pickup the prettiest Thai women in the bar. I have lived in Thailand for 2 years and it never ceases to amaze me how many beautiful Thai women are so curious about having sex with foreigners. Who am I to say no to a beautiful Thai smile and free sex?

That concept is way too complicated.
Farang no good. Farang refuse mask. Now that's simple enough for Yinn. If she's not sure she can ask Anutin. Him good. Him rich man. Thai. good.
The brown man is lucky the farang didn't wash his mouth out with fist when he tried shoving the mask in the face of the white man. Invading a white mans personal space is viewed as a physical threat with the brown man being the aggressor.

My wife just showed me the same infographic and I came to ThaiVisa to find out what the hell is going on. I'm equally as baffled as you are. Let's hope someone can shed some light.
I successfully completed my 90 reporting on 22 July. I also completed a previous 90 report on-time during the amnesty period. my guess is that you didn't do your reporting on time even though there was an amnesty period hence shooting yourself in the foot. the system is programmed to look at dates in a certain way and not programmed around the amnesty. Unfortunately no thought was given to this and there will be thousands of people converging on immigration to do 90 day reporting that cannot do them online now.

Amazing, the pickup was already reversing, the woman just steps out in the road without looking - and after getting hit, she grabs her child and runs in to the middle of the road with her back to any oncoming traffic.
Crazy country.
It's the "me first" culture in this country.

He broke "the law"? I don't think there will ever be enough different adjectives to describe the level of stupidity for this comment.

It has long since become comical. I would put the beginning on the day the Health Minister was handing out masks in Bangkok (can't remember the month) and threatened to boot out any foreigners that wouldn't accept them.
Can we boot out all the Thai people I see not wearing a mask? Send them to the promise land of China ????

Takes over an hour to drive from one place to the other.
So, did the Covid 19 take a bus to Pattaya, stay a few nights, and do some shopping.
Every town or city within 60 minutes drive of Pattaya could say the same thing. ????
Nonsense.
Yes and whistling at night will bring ghosts ????

If immigration announce the letter is needed again and informs the embassy they will start again.
Even the link for immigration is out of date sincey the changed their website. Link defaults to the new home page.
Tried doing my 90 day report online yesterday the 16th only to find the system is down for "maintenance" and would be available today the 17th. Go back online today on the 17th only to find the system still down for "maintenance" until the 18th. No system should be down for "maintenance" for this length of time, especially at a critical time like this and before a long holiday. I worked in the IT industry for over 40 years and this is not acceptable. Extremely poor judgement on their part ????

the Egyptian military didn't transgress the protocols, your people did by allowing them to go through. Virus doesn't know borders, doesn't differentiate rich or poor, black or white, the safety protocols should be enforced regardless who is coming, diplomatic or not, military or civil all should be checked the same way
I agree with you completely. Stupid is as stupid does.

USA Embassy is worthless. Quit telling us to come back home. No American in thier right mind would want to be in the USA right now unless it was absolutely necessary. I'm American and I'm avoiding the US at all costs. If I have to leave Thailand, then I'll go to Croatia or Turkey or anywhere else I can.
I am an American and I agree with you 110%

I ‘did’ have a fairly strong opinion that state quarantine wasn’t necessary.
I figured that ‘most’ people would be able to effectively isolate at their homes and those who couldn’t, i.e. those who lived with people who had to travel to work or were key workers etc could then opt to quarantine in a state facility.
I was obviously wrong. People just cannot be trusted to do the right thing.
I isolated myself in the UK upon arrival in April, which meant renting a small cottage for two weeks. I went to the supermarket twice, masking up and wearing gloves to protect others.
IF people were reasonable quarantine would not be necessary, clearly people are not.
This also shows how easily a wave of xenophobia can sweep the nation. Thai’s are blaming Egypt, when Thai’s themselves have broken quarantine up on return.
When the target of outrage is a foreigner the extent of the outrage seems more evident.
It’s clear the Thai Government are responsible for not expressing the seriousness of the lockdown and isolation to these men. But also for letting them in under different conditions forced upon everyone else.
Then of course there is the Egyptian himself who has now caused an international incident - he’s in enough hot water at home now !!!
I agree, but do we know if the Egyptian soldiers had the same diplomatic immunity as the Sudanese family under international law? Of course Thailand can revoke diplomatic immunity and violate international law, but the repercussions of such an act would be very serious. Thai officials and diplomats all around the world would lose their diplomatic immunity no matter what their job title is or who they are in Thai society or Thai culture. This isn't about preferential treatment of foreigners versus Thais repatriating and you can't blame foreigners for this. The Thai government opened its borders to diplomats and representatives of other countries. I would suggest that the people in this forum that like to blame foreigners do their research and use the brain God gave you before making comments based on your ignorance.

I like that idea ... New entry requirement. Learn the Thai national anthem and sing it on arrival and at any Police or Immigration check points.
I don't even know my own national anthem. Maybe if I can't sing it I won't have to pay taxes because my government can't prove that's where I'm from ????????????

I think public awareness of the two pricing system is very good and those doing so should be exposed and shamed. I also feel that if you see equal pricing we should post those pictures as well to advertise the good people so that we can patronize their business instead.

We can help these types of businesses collapse completely if we simply choose not to spend our money there. There are far more deserving Thai people and businesses in this country that treat us with dignity and respect and we should patronize their businesses only!!!

And with the restrictive measures in place for a lot of businesses to open (many won't re-open), and the largest unemployment figures in decades, the number of poor people in Thailand will increase incredibly.
But do the government or the elite care ? I don't think so.
None of these guys look like they've missed a meal and eat very well.
