The joggers and exercisers in Benjakiti Park still pause in the morning when the anthem plays. Well, as of two years ago when I was staying next to the park and goin there every morning.

ATM fee now 250bt
cdemundo replied to mrmicbkktxl's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I want to make the best deal I can. So I use a Charles Schwab Bank account that reimburses ATM fees each month. Nice to see someone standing up for the poor put upon banks though. -

Where do you get that cash? Print your own? I get my cash from an ATM, hence the fees. -

Crime Thai Police Chief Orders Nationwide Drug Crackdown
cdemundo replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Cuz "drugs is good", you can't change that. People like the short term effects of recreational drugs. If coffee was outlawed only outlaws would have dolce gusto machines. Some drugs are more benign than others but nearly everyone uses some kind of mood altering drugs. -

Interesting comparison for those expats who complain of feeling unwelcome in Thailand. The Mexican example is what it really looks like when you are unwelcome. -

Meh, "every other week or month, either a politician or monk is the headlines for unscrupulous acts" pretty much everywhere just substitute religious leader for monk. -

Do you mean anti-inflammatory? Cuz Naproxen is an NSAID, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (D for I dunno). I don't think it's an antibiotic. -

AS far as diclofenac Gel YMMV. Read several posters here have had good results, me included. -
best pain killer over the counter
cdemundo replied to anotherexpat4444's topic in Health and Medicine
Ibuprofen, naproxen, and diclofenac (all NSAIDs) do not directly affect the adrenal system, but they can interact with it in indirect or secondary ways, especially with long-term use or in people with certain conditions. Do NSAIDs affect adrenal hormone production directly? No — NSAIDs do not directly suppress or stimulate adrenal hormone production. They don’t act on the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis like corticosteroids do. Maybe you are thinking of corticosteroids. Are you a Seventh Day Adventist or something? -
best pain killer over the counter

I agree, the recommended amount is way more than I need. In fact it would not be absorbed even with extensive rubbing it in. I have found the less expensive difelene to be just as good as Voltaren, I believe the ingredients and concentration is the same. -

Topical diclofenac, (Difelene) and ibuprofen tablets work fairly well for me. But after reading here will be trying naproxen. -

No denying that language teaching attracts a certain number of creeps. That is true of teaching in general as well as clergy/religious positions. In both cases people are given a position of trust, probably respect, and enough independence where it's possible to slack off and do very little. The one point I would differ with depending on your meaning of "goes after women in a bar". If you mean he attacks women in the bar, that is a valid criticism. If you are just talking about hitting on a woman in a beer bar I think you need a reality check. Hitting on a woman in a beer bar is normal behavior, getting angry when rejected is not. -
Two sexual contacts per month for 10 years would equal 240 right? So the number quoted is not at all unbelievable. There is a saying "One's too many and a hundred ain't enough."

Community American Tourist Assaulted by Bar Owner for Filming Venue
cdemundo replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
I am inclined to agree. However, this individual has the universal sign of affluence, intelligence, and success - large tasteless tattoos. I have been informed on AN that people having these tattoos are probably wealthier, more intelligent, and more successful than I am. His ball cap and basketball jersey further reinforce his fashion statement. Hence I am reluctant to conclude without reservation that he is an idiot. But I think he is. -
Ha, you could make that argument, especially given the frequent flopping that some of them do. But I don't see you addressing my point about the size of the talent pool. But maybe I am missing the underlying point here. Are you longing for a young "stud" as you describe Kelce, a "hard man" in more ways than one? Are you jealous that Ms. Swift has landed your romantic ideal? It's ok, as Cat Stevens sang, if you wanna sing out, sing out! Is this whole thread another beard for a manly man who is struggling with his feelings, in this case for Travis Kelce? You are not alone there are others here on AN who are attracted to manly men, I think Pete Hegseth is another masculine guy who is admired by other men. Makes no difference to me, I'm partial to pussy myself.
