  1. Walk me through your logic how a potentially infected tourist has any bearing whatsoever on a country where it's already ripping through at the local population at a rate of 25000 a day reported. Probably 10x that unreported. So conservatively speaking lets say 100,000 a day. Please explain the thoughts generated by the electrical impulses in your brain that concluded a potentially infected tourist is going to somehow make that worse or have any kind of effect on anything whatsoever?
  2. ????‍♂️ Where exactly do you get your info from? William Hurt was 71 and had terminal prostate cancer that had spread to his bones.
  3. I believe the correct term, that any optician should understand, is "intermediates". Computer glasses (intermediates) are designed for further away. Since I got them I would never consider using off the shelf reading glasses again. They are orders of magnitude better. The text is much clearer and sharper and I don't lean forward anymore, which is bad for your neck and posture. I also use them for regular reading and using my smartphone, I just need to hold it a bit further away. https://www.eyebuydirect.com/blog/reading-glasses-for-computer-use/#:~:text=Reading glasses work best for, also known as computer glasses. Since my intermediates are prescription they are a perfect match whereas off the shelf reading glasses won't be. Many eyewear stores can give you an eye exam to determine your prescription and get intermediates made. Once you get your eye prescription done you can also buy them online at a website such as eyebuydirect.com, which is going to be your cheapest option. That's where I got mine and I have no complaints. You do not need a special prescription for intermediates. Just a regular eye exam and prescription, so if you already have that you are good. When you specify that you want intermediates they will take your prescription and do the calculations on their end for the intermediate distance, which I believe is considered 20-40". Progressive lenses try do everything. They are a lot more expensive option so I have not considered them and can't really recommend that option unless you need a prescription anyways.
  4. Russian helicopter shot down by stinger. https://www.bbc.com/news/av-embeds/world-europe-60630352
  5. I think that is probably true. Vietnam is going through a big wave right now and they said it will probably peak in another week. So far they are going full steam ahead with their tourist opening March 15 and saying they will be treating Covid as endemic moving forward, so that's a good sign.
  6. I wouldn't say that but maybe it depends what type you get. When I was there a couple years ago the cheddar was similar price to Friendship Market. The stuff at Siamburys wasn't even called cheddar but it looked and tasted similar. I think the cheddar at Friendship (imported from Ireland as I recall) was probably a little better.
  7. I don't see this info posted in that sub anywhere. Here is the latest I can find about it. Apparently the tourism ministry is coming out against it, which is no surprise. It sounds like the health and tourism ministries are fighting over the final requirements, and it's the PM who ultimately decides, so it's still up in the air. https://e.vnexpress.net/news/travel/tourism-ministry-rejects-health-ministry-s-entry-restriction-proposals-for-foreigners-4434447.html
  8. You may want to check the new new requirements for Vietnam. They just made it a whole lot more complicated because....why not. Now I think they want 72 hours quarantine and two PCR tests. I am not sure exactly. All I know is there are all kinds of new rules now and after I heard that they changed the antigen test to a PCR test on arrival it turned into a deal breaker for me and I stopped listening and scratched Vietnam off my list.
  9. Crypto moonboys are investors about as much as gamblers are.
  10. I am guessing it would need to be a supervised test for the reasons you gave, but I could be wrong. I think there are apps where they can monitor you doing the test remotely.
  11. Because this site used to be called ThaiVisa until very recently.
  12. As if expats constantly whining about all things Thailand wasn't enough, now TV is turning into a moonboy forum full of crypto pumpers. ????????
  13. Welcome to the moonboy thread where everyone already has their sportscar picked out when their sheitcoin takes off aaaaany day now. ????????‍♂️
  14. How do you find the time when so much of it is spent bragging on random forums. You can do that stuff from private yachts too btw. Have your personal IT department look into it for you. Maybe ask them to install a spell checker while they are at it. Also, turtles. That's the key!
  15. I am not talking about you. I am talking about people who manage to sound somewhat credible.
  16. It's curious why you always see these anonymous internet people bragging about how much money they are making on random forums when they could be sailing around the world on their private yacht fully stocked with supermodels.
  17. Bitcoin is like the Seinfeld of investing. It's value is based on nothing.
  18. So your argument for what not to do to get rich is to use Warren Buffett as an example? ????
  19. Today I shall mitigate my risk by putting it all on red, because that is what worked yesterday.
  20. ????‍♂️ He replied to a thread about it on another board and 'invited' the guy to come back. You are welcome to step away from your imaginary virtual world calling people liars and go into meat space to verify it yourself, or just contact them. https://www.facebook.com/English-Rose-bar-and-guest-house-609952952390363/
  21. I don't know of many gambler that don't think they have some sort of astrology methodology.
