10-years ago two farangs didn't want the other to see them going to their favorite "shop." Farangs also don't like farangs to ruin their Thailand experience with the locals, which means going to 7-11. 10-years ago the food was served on some sketchy plates, and strange oils used. The love was never really there, and it's always there. It's YOU, possibly. I wear a shirt that says, "I like beer, I'm a sexpat and I no know Thai language i no have money." Really, other people are the same, except in CM where they aren't as nice as before IMO (and it's probably ME). Everywhere else, very nice.

I was expecting an aggressive Thai, but the Thai guy appeared (who knows the backstory, if there is one) submissive and there is no need to attack a guy not willing to fight.
NOBODY will remember it was a Brit. They all know farangs from every country has gotten in trouble, and it's impossible to remember them all.
unless a farang shot that kid. Then it won't be forgotten.
I would love to blame the pollution, since it does cause aggressive behavior, but I've been on that rant long enough.

HAHAHAHAHA.......I'm some religious freak because I use hyperbole (?) and remind people that polluted air is bad for them. And these people are reading about polluted air in their "dream" city and getting even more triggered because they don't want to believe what a child knows....inhaling smoke isn't good for you. doing it often will have negative effects. Living in a toxic place is bad for you mentally and physically and it's a waste of money. Worst retirement ever. haha.
Yes, I'm your father saying, "didn't we raise you properly? you spent your whole life saving for the "dream" retirement and now you wear a mask (or should) and spend all day hoping the AQI levels drop below 300." I'm saying you are an adult, it's your choice, and I got out. Well, sort of...I'm dealing with levels around 80. It's bad, I'm an idiot. But I got out. You can too.
Things are about to get much worse.....February and March. Enjoy!!!!

Yes, that Solemeni guy killed thousands....he needed to be put down before the number got much bigger. People are in Iran, it's dangerous. Canada is like the step-child America never needed but will likely take care of it forever, since the roles will never reverse. Iran is full of drugs and terrorists, let's not forget the danger there. Canada needs to act strong against Iran, and trying to blame Trump is like trying to blame America for trying to take out Hitler but only after he killed around the world.

Well, the post above me makes me question the Universe.....BUT...
for everyone else. When on overstay, don't panic. it is what it is...so just be professional, take care of it ASAP and of course another country won't reject you. This isn't a criminal record, they don't care. UNLESS you are tying to get a visa in a country like Australia, then I think a prior overstay will reject you. But forget all that, one step at a time. Flight, pay, go to another SE Asian country. move on. The OP's post last year is confusing. lol. but this is Thailand.

I have also noticed something interesting.....all the Thai country people live in Bangkok. They clearly know what is good for them.
Rooster
?????????????
Most would never go there if they weren't forced to get that money.
Doesn't mean it's good for them. I'm sure it's not

This dumb lady would rather be an "influencer" on social media than in the Royal family. The epic breakdown is happening, and soon she will be begging for more and more attention. This guy picked the wrong one.

Right, but perhaps he wonders why he dies younger than many other people and why from lung cancer when he never smoked cigarettes.
you won't feel good and then die of lung cancer the next day.
your lungs get bad....you feel bad for DECADES, you suffer and die.
and you had a chance to protect your lungs, but you stayed

I know both. Not all urban or rural is the same. For me, NO to BKK for more than a few weeks, but NO to some super small place with nothing to do and no good restaurants or shops or the ability to walk around at night without drunk kids on motorbikes. CM? Ah, I would rather CM than most rural places, but it's definitely not perfect. I think I need a city (haven't been to every city) maybe like the size of Nong Khai (maybe wrong spelling). But, we are not prisoners, so I think a rural place is good for 3 months a year. I need people, and not the same 10 people. I also like to have some privacy within a bigger city, with the ability to explore new areas. I don't like to shop for things I need if I can simply live in a city where I can find most things.

Almost 200 today!!!! How's everyone doing? How's retirement? You know what that American singer says, "you gotta know when to hold em and know when to fold em".
It's time to fold em...... Oh wait, next week all green for the next 100-years. OK, stay!!! 5555

Estimates suggest that up to 11,000 deaths from heart and circulatory disease are attributable to particulate air pollution in the UK every year. A rising and ageing population means this could result in 160,000 deaths by 2030.

Now imagine how much WORSE it is here...... but i'm sure everyone here values their health. We must act now!!! lol. OK, back to your beer.....and don't say I didn't try to save you.

Princes have been to Pattaya many, many, many times...
and now the royal family, after being in the spotlight, have decided to run away and leave their country behind.
it's the biggest disgrace in over 543 years

You have to have some expectations to pay. Let's say it's 3000 baht. OK, is that OK? If not OK, run away and don't look back. You are marrying into a family and it's expensive, which is why you worked and researched and are willing to help the less fortunate. What would I do? I wouldn't be in this situation. Because this situation has 100 more parts to it and it never ends well. Take a hard look at your finances. She might end up costing you about 300,000 a year, which is fine if you really cannot live without her. Times that all the years you will be with her.....Yeah, of course it's a business decision for their family. If you don't pay, you are bad business. maybe a great person, but a bad decision.

I waiting for the farang to lose his 800,000, all assets frozen, and deported for getting arrested for having a plastic bag that had food in it at one time. lol
what would you do? nothing.
since nothing is the correct answer, you retire somewhere else.
and come here as a tourist for 666 straight hours in Pattaya

Ever thought this guy just might not be Thai!
Of course we have all thought that, but that's the absolute worst case of the worst case scenario, so we won't be having those thoughts out loud. If so then it better be from a country whose passport I don't share.

I'm surprised he isn't caught already. Too bad, of course. Look, most of us are well-balanced individuals and it's impossible to imagine shooting a two-year old kid unless circumstances are extremely crazy with the mother. I don't think that's the case here, so I have to fall back to my lazy detective work of him being really high on drugs, because a rational person couldn't do this to a strange boy. I can't imagine he's shooting a female at work when he could wait for another, better opportunity. None of this makes sense, except really mentally unstable, high on drugs, trigger happy, but then how does he escape if on drugs? To me, the kid's death changes everything. I really don't care if I don't hear the real story as long as they get him.

"Old white men are a cancer?"
That was not what he wrote. He wrote 'seen as a cancer.' Two entirely different observations.
I don't think this is ENTIRELY different, since the people who see Old White Men as a cancer do think they are cancer. To me, entirely would be 100% different, and in this case there is a group who think they are a cancer. Since White Men can't actually be a cancer, in the medical definition, that can't be debated. So I'm a little lost.....yes, White Men are a cancer and seen as a cancer. The real question is, What percentage actually believe this to be true? In Thailand, very very very small percentage. In Vietnam, I would still think very very small.

PR 101:
Talk about it during high season, especially January and the February.
Then shelve the project until next December...
Dumb farangs will say, "YES!!! This year will be different."

The UK did not give him his millions!
The money comes from Prince Charles's income from the Duchy of Cornwall, a vast portfolio of property and financial investments, which brought in £21.6m last year. This revenue is used to "fund the public, private and charitable activities of The Duke and his children".
OK, where did this money come from?
ok ok

Nothing says, "I couldn't care less about the losers who have to stay in the country that gave me my millions, I'm leaving suckers!!!"
I think Queen Eliz should get a few mansions in Cali and rock it out like a gangsta...
while sending selfies to the suckers in the rain and mess of Brexit

Philippines have shoot-to-kill against drug dealers. BBC said like 30,000 murdered and maybe 10,000+ possibly by "accident," or maybe the person was a political threat or just someone they hated.

Another day of more air that saturates our body, slowing killing us all. I've decided if you don't leave at 150 readings, you are not leaving over pollution. Because then you have already admitted that you can allow your body to breathe the toxic air, so continuing to do so is easier than doing something about it. Wow, just dropped to 129!!! I wish someone would create a pollution life calculator. 200-days in 100 or above readings means you will be sick for 10-years and die 10-years earlier. I wonder if that would do anything to anyone?

Imagine how one unexpected moment in life can change everything, forever. OMG, a child with unlimited potential, unable to enjoy life. We've heard it all before, and we never listen...."Enjoy every second, be nice to others, and go after your dreams." Because this world is filled with evil that we can not comprehend. Take care.

Yes, this video should make you upset.
There is a lot of evil in this world, and it's up to us to be nice and add a little good to offset such hatred.
Try this experiment.....give someone a 20 baht tip for no reason. They will smile, and you will smile.
