50,000 baht could have been his future.  So they destroyed his future, and he wants to destroy theirs.  I wish he could simply take 1-2 people to court and that's it....to involve innocent people at all is absolutely insane, but we are not of the same mind, age, emotions, etc.. in this world.

I don't think they can afford a mask every day.  And I think Buddhism or the saving face thing has them NOT going to tell anyone what to do.  Of course, there is a lack of education i'm sure by a good portion.  It's not like there's a ton of Thai articles on how Thais are ruining their countryside with smoke.  

OR, perhaps, they do only tell me they care because they think that's what I want to hear.  Of course possible.

But never accurate for tomorrow's, next week's, or even the next 5 hours... which is what we care care about.  we don't open the window because we only care about the future.  

I will predict lows in the morning maybe 1 degree warmer or colder than normal.  plus or minus 10 for error.  In the afternoon, it will warm up.  likely.  when the sun dies, it will cool down.  probably.  wind might be present.  Clouds might form. And I hope you are not still reading this now....  

Really disturbing, definitely.  Soo horrible on so many levels.  

You can be targeted in China, Russia, Cambodia, Philippines, Laos, Vietnam, Spain, Italy, Myramar, Columbia, Argentina, Mexico....just to name a few.  Some get reported in the media, some don't.  Don't try to act like some countries are safer because you read about a tragedy and decide to forget about a country's history or political power.  millions have been murdered and you remember a school shooting instead.  

Thailand is super safe.  Top % safe.  Even if driving in a CAR.  This wouldn't stop me from visiting Thailand, but Korat sure since people would not be as friendly as I would want on a vacation.  

Would I go to Maya in CM....now maybe not.  Maybe take a break from malls.  But with corona that was not a good option anyhow.  

Baht weakens.  This has been a few bad years now....in a country that doesn't need bad YEARS.  

So MAYBE the virus can live on a surface for 28 days.....OMG, that's in the mail from online purchases....  

They say wash your hands after you touch everything.  lol.  and what about a public bathroom.   BUT this is why going to a restaurant in a city with maybe people from Wuhan is not going to happen. 

Most people say the worst MIGHT be over at the end of April.  

Everything I buy might be from China.... OMG.  Was it just shipped in from Wuhan yesterday?

Every country is a business.  Big, Big Business.  You pesky, sexpat, backpacker farang who no wear facemask go jail if hurt money!!!!  

Same as the defamation laws.  

It's good business, since less information is generally better if you are a monopoly.  

It's not like selling an iPhone.  You like Thailand, want to live here, you act like there is no pollution, coronavirus, deaths, aids, yaaaba, whatever...

carry on you peasants...and wear your masks or DEPORTED!!

What about age?

I think you when you're older you deal with insulin differently.  I do.  I only care about carbs the night before a race.  It might just be psychological.  I don't care.  Body doesn't have to break down meat and worst case I ate a little too much.  Efforts range from 15 minutes to 2 hours, so I don't need crazy storage for that.  There is NO way i'll cut carbs off forever, but I respect those who choose that lifestyle.  I'm a big fan of water, fruit, spinach, carrots, pasta, tomatoes, and coffee.  If i eat mushrooms instead of a donut, fine.  if not, fine.  my body generally tells me what i want.  today it wanted oranges.  great.  last night, fish.  

I know hundreds of Thais, probably over a thousand, and 99% care about the pollution.  I have asked well over 100, and 100 said they care.  Of course.  One guy was an officer of some big business and he told he it's bad, he hopes it will stop, and that it's from this building (he points).  Well, the building part wasn't true.  Anyhow, I asked him, "Did you go talk to him and tell them to stop?"  We are friends.  He smiled and said, Not yet.  They care, but they simply don't know what to do.  In America, you can protest, call the police, put pictures on Facebook and try to sue or call political officials and do lots of stuff.....i just don't think all that's possible here.   

It's not like we don't care about Corona, but what can we do?

We should worry about a Black Hole 100 zillion kms away!!

Or worry about the Sun exploding or earthquakes or WW3.  

The virus takes some control from us, and that is IMPORTANT.  A virus can control our actions, emotions, etc....

Car accidents only inconvenience us

If in Thailand and fly to America and coughing, they will check you.  we are on the country list to be worried about

70 million people, let's say 35 million women.  you will hear it all..

AND it will change .  maybe young they want thai, then the drinking stage ,then they want farang, then no trust, then thai for family, then maybe less money, then farang for security, then bored, then thai for ...

it's not a serious question.  

It's all fun and games and relatively cheap living until you get sick.  Then it's the absolute worst of the worst of the worst.  

Let me remind myself what I deal with, and still stay (however, I moved out of CM)..... visa, pollution, slight increase in prices, strong baht, death virus, traffic, and even sometimes the pesky ant because my building was built like...oh, anyhow.

Can I leave and increase my chances to live?  of course.

but what do I do?  I decide to move to a different city in Thailand, next month.  ah, i'm doing something

What if we find out the super secret lab was created by 3M!!!!  Decades ago, before the internet, people trusted 3M.  Then they did that whole teflon mess I think....anyhow, I'm sure it's not really 3M.  In China, Microsoft is as similar to Microsoft as a monkey to jupiter.

They do have an idea.  They just don't think it through, which is why they ended up in Thailand in the first place thinking about renting a bike.

even if banned, they will say, after a few drinks or smoking, "I'm OK mom."

They don't have the patience to find alternative, safer, transportation.

Are you kidding???  This has been a blessing to the super loser broke sexpats in Thailand who got tired of complaining about pollution, roads, girls, scams, double prices, inability to say hello in Thai, visa issues, and everything else you can think of.....

NOW they finally know other people in the world have it worse and blame the Chinese for all their problems.

They're super happy I'm sure and my goal is to not be like them in 10-years
