  1. The alternative to sitting in a rice field with betel nut eaters, or harvesting rubber and making 200 baht a day is having sex, mostly unprotected, with some clients who are very fat, stink, and make the girls do things a normal woman might never do, with a high likelihood of receiving an STD, some of which never go away and some that can kill. If you think many enjoy the lifestyle, you're wrong, as those links can attest. Try going home with them and staying with them awhile to see how they act. Not for a week, but a month or more, to see the real them come out,and what that lifestyle has done to their thinking. I know of several personally that married bar girls and their work came home with them all of those times. One was threatened by a former boyfriend with a gun. The others had boyfriends on the side, which ruined their marriages. Some survive, especially if they are taken way soon afte they get into the trade, but the longer they stay in, the more damage is done. They will never see their husband as more than a permanent john. Yes, you got them out from their job, but the mentality is still there, as having sex with hundreds of men does a number on anyone's psyche, especially if some of them were brutal.
  2. Out of touch with reality is a person defending a trade that kills and maims, abuses and threatens, and gets people addicted to drugs. Why? Because its cheap sex because they can't find or know how to treat a normal woman so feel the need to pay for it? Or perhaps there is a legitimate excuse? I still haven't heard any. A balanced view of life is thinking and acting morally, period. Not intentionally hurting or taking advantage of others. Not subjecting women to degrading themselves having to have sex with men they would never be with otherwise besides the money they and their employers get. As far as there being a God, you'll find out when you pass.
  3. Another one. Try reading a link about the effects first. It may be a job but it's hardly like any other.
  4. Just the amount of trafficking that has increased, along with the dead, raped and abused.
  5. If you stuck to the facts like I do you wouldn't make assuming statement thinking you know what goes on after you let your ST go for the night. A prostitute here is the same as elsewhere. Money is made, mostly by those employing them, with the exceptions of freelancers, who come from damaged homes and do it because it's what they know, most of them leaving kids behind with grandma while they're out doing their thing in big cities. I wonder where those like you get their information about most of these workers, only knowing the few you've been with who might be exaggerating their history. Few are bullied or controlled? How would you know this? You do realize there are many social workers that get into their lives to try and help them, risking their own lives doing so. Of course there are a few who have other jobs, are students etc that ply the trade as freelancers for extra money but they are the minority. I think many here just don't realize the mentality behind becoming a person who feels the need to sell their bodies for sex, in other words, where did this thinking originate? Like I said before, besides the trafficking and parent coercion, the rest come from homes where they were molested as children, and it went from there. Doesn't take much research to find the whys.
  6. And most of it goes to the pimp, bar or trafficker involved, but you won't see this happening because they prefer to remain anonymous.................https://ecpat.org/story/trafficking-in-thailand-the-demand-fuels-child-trafficking-for-sexual-purposes/
  7. I don't use a halo, I'm just another human being like you. How many hookers have you talked to that were honest about where they came from because this is just from 6 years ago, and I'm sure there are more by now This is from that link I provided, as i think many here don't watch the news or look things up they aren't interested in............According to the Global Slavery Index (2018), there are more than 600,000 victims of human trafficking in Thailand. ..................This of course is all over Thailand, including the fishing boats where those who object somehow disappear.
  8. No, I just research and not form opinions, letting those who actually do the investigating speak. My bias is only there because I don't like seeing this abuse of women or children, and prostitution is high in abuse of those. You treating hookers well is okay, as many don't or do a lot worse. I'm not a prude bu any means. I just dislike bullies, controllers and those that take advantage of the weak. Prostitution is a dangerous trade where many die and most are damaged, and most come from damaged childhoods, so it's a cause for concern when I see so many looking at it as no big deal.
  9. If you're at your desired weight, why worry about complex carbs now? Eating in moderation almost anything is okay. I eat oatmeal every day, and always have eaten Millet Rice, Oat Bran Flakes and a few others which aren't too high and still keep my weight down, even though I'm not working out nearly as much yet. Bamboo is low as is many salad greens. My girlfriend has constipation a lot because of the rice so I try and get her to not only drink more water but eat greens, although she's not really (yet) into foreign food. Here's an Asean link...........https://aseannow.com/topic/1052810-yogurts-sugar-free/.

  11. You can order online and have some sent, although the cost might be high. Plain yogurt usually has no sugar and you can add fruit for taste, along with cereals.
  12. You presumed there isn't much human trafficking here. It's huge, and involves officials, many of whom are caught and fired. I'm not lecturing anyone. I just point out things others seem to miss, or not care about.
  13. Then read more on this subject, like the links I posted, because you're still denying that prostitution has damages to those involved. Reading things increases your knowledge, especially after high school, where many stop reading. Being into a particular interest makes it easier to increase your knowledge because it's like a hobby, things that give you enjoyment and aren't read because you have to. I'm never close minded, if that's what you're referring to. I look at all sides, look at the evidence, then make a decision. Not opinions. Being legal, again, doesn't make it right. It just means those involved are making money from it, just like the wishy washy thinking that goes on here about marijuana. Countries with more modern thinking are legalizing it all the time, because they know it doesn't cause the damage old school thinking makes it out to have. Money always wins. I'm not a religious person per se. I'm a Christian who believes in God, and Jesus as his son and our helper towards God.Pretty simple. I was Cathoilc but changed because some things in it aren't necessary to have a relationship with God. I am not against anyone who wants to talk about anything. What I am against is people hurting women and children, most of who are involved by force or from childhood damage, and think there isn't a better way.
  14. And another, so it's them telling it and not I, who you seem to not believe. This is what I've learned all 50 years, nothing wrong with your choices, but complex have some things simple don't, along with more fiber........https://www.onepeloton.com/blog/complex-carbohydrates/...

  16. Easy to find one of many links, and I never have partaken here..............https://theexodusroad.com/human-trafficking-in-thailand/
  17. Like I said, there are thousands of jobs available in Thailand besides prostitution. I know fully well what happens with locals and their inability to stick around after a child is born. The courts are to blame because they don't enforce child support here for anyone besides foreigners. Make a boy pay and he'll be more likely to use protection from then on.
  18. Where have I said I despise them? I feel sorry for them, seeing most of them are there not by choice but by fear or coercion. The others are there because of childhood trauma. The real problem isn't them but who hires them and puts them into slavery for their gains. The same goes for illegal migrants. I fully understand their plight , needing work, but it's not them but the rich who hire them who are at fault.
  19. I haven't dodged anything. I fully explained that complex carbs are okay, as long as you aren't overweight or obese, where then you would need to cut back on them and eat veggies and fruits that are lower in carbs, like mushrooms, green and wax beans, lettuce, bean sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, cukes, celery, bamboo, strawberries, berries, cantaloupe, melon, and other lower carb fruit and veggie choices. If your weight is normal, then the complex carbs are a healthy choice to eat. In this case theres no need to give up anything that grows. It's man made things and food with added sugar and salt, plus liquid calories, that gets people to gain weight fast.
  20. It doesn't matter if it's legal or not. Things get legalized for many reasons and money is a top one, outweighing rational thinking many times. You're still not getting the point. The damage prostitution does to those involved. If you don't care, don't comment. Booze is legal and kills thousands yearly. Prostitution is legal and hidden in a lot of places and it kills thousands yearly, and permanently damages many others. Read more, talk less, because your arguments aren't valid. You are one sided because you pursue women for cash, contributing to the problem. God himself could come down and tell you it's wrong, and you would argue just for the sake of, because that's what a person in denial with little knowledge of the damage this trade causes those involved, besides the ones making a profit from it.
  21. That explains how the Thai women are in general. I was referring to the fact that hookers everywhere are much the same, in their thinking and background, why they became prostitutes. Thailand has long been known as a sex capital because of its cheap sex trade and poverty explains some of that, but there are other options. Why they get into it in the first place stems from childhood trauma unless they are forced or coerced, and that happens everywhere. The slave trade takes advantage of the minorities because of lower intelligence and them being closer to poverty and debt issues. .
  22. Best hooker buyer, most hookers bought in a single year, most miles driven drunk, most times driving home while inebriated, the most hookers from different nationalities, the most ridiculous replies on AN? These would fill a small room perhaps but have little meaning. I also have a lot of achievements in lifting which mean nothing to most anyone else, nor much to me now as an older man.
  23. Bravo! I'm of course against hurting women or children and prostitution has damages that go far beyond what johns usually see, but as you pointed out, this is one thing many don't realize. The aftereffects can sometimes be human beings.
  24. Another link for you to ponder...https://universeoffaith.org/i-work-with-prostitutes-the-negative-effects-of-prostitution/
  25. No, what most people probably think of when they talk about Thai hookers is the cheap price. For what some pay in NYC for a night with a hooker you could get 10 here. All hookers have skills if they've been in the game long enough. The same goes for a good wife who's treated well. She wants to please her good man. I personally like the Thai woman looks but there are ladies from all nationalities that are gorgeous also. And from what experience are you saying they make all others seems like amateurs? I have almost no experience because i stopped buying at age 18, but I'm guessing you're a world traveled john with many purchases under his belt?
