  1. Yes, many are voluntarily there, because of a childhood without direction, or being forced by "parents". A behavior, selling your body for money, IS abhorrent and nothing to do with my opinion. It's your opinion that it isn't.
  2. I feel sorry for a lot of the girls who are forced into this trade. What I would like to see is those responsible getting their freedom taken away for a long time, so that others thinking of selling girls, and boys, for profit, would think again if the penalty was a prison term taking away much of their life. Those forced by parents also. What kind of human garbage tells their daughters to do this so they can profit from it? Money justifies most anything, and people looking at women as objects to be used is despicable, although they have their cronies who will stick up for them.
  3. Another assumption by someone who actually thinks they know more than just a few expats and what they actually do here. Many who live here long term are married long term. What they do is still not known by anyone besides themselves and maybe their partners. Maybe. The only person you know about is yourself. I've been here over 6 years, had a wife, now ex, and a girlfriend now. I would never go to a sex worker for any reason, seeing I don't like the idea of getting a disease, which with them is a much higher chance of happening, and would much rather be in a relationship where I look at my partner as a partner and not a purchase. Everyone pays something of course, but it's hardly the same with an actual girlfriend.
  4. I also agree with Patong. Some can justify most anything because a lot of others also do it. What makes a person go to prostitution is very sad, even if they aren't forced by trafficking. It's a childhood without a good father loving and showing that daughter she has worth, and by her seeing her dad treat her mom well, would look for that herself. Most any man can find a woman if he treats women well. It might take some time to weed through the mentally ill, greedy or abusive, but there are women out there that will do anything for a good man. There is absolutely no need to go for a working girl besides a narcissist ego, low self esteem, never being taught a woman's worth by his father, or hatred towards women and only looking for his own pleasure. There are millions of good looking women who would be glad to have a man that would just be faithful, as this is something most will never see. "Men are all pigs, all the same, butterflies, etc, is because what they experienced before was exactly that, and they think there's no hope. It makes good men also look bad, and it's hard for a good woman to trust any man when all she's seen is trash. I'm not talking about a teenager who's never been with a woman and is hot for one, and looks to a working girl for his first experience. I'm talking about people who are in their 50's and above who need to go looking for bar girls for reasons only they know. It isn't necessary unless all you see in a woman is a body to use.
  5. Why anyone would go for Hugh Grant amazes me. He's a weak example of a man and only his being on TV makes him alluring, as does many other "celebrities". You could put most anyone on the screen and some women would fall for them, yet if they're seen in real life they wouldn't get a second glance. The Kardashian syndrome.
  6. This is the best I've ever come across, as far as explaining how men think, and I agree, as it's a choice and we aren't dogs or other animals that go by instinct and not care about our partners....................................Men are neither polygamous (nor monogamous) in nature. First, a man's polygamous tendencies are from nurture, not nature. This habit of justifying marital unfaithfulness, in the Christian context, by citing African culture is misplaced. Here, African men in the remote past chose to be with or marry more than one woman for social and economic reasons. To highlight their affluence to society and have more hands to help in their farming/subsistent agriculture venture. A husband who cheats on his wife makes a choice to succumb to temptation. If polygamy is actually natural to men, then we would have no cases of monogamous men. Second, every man contains reason and instincts according to neurology and biology. Reason is a human being's edge over lower animals like dogs, goats, sheep, lions and so on, although we share trait of instincts with them. Someone may argue our bodily instincts, a biological feature passed from parents to offspring, push us toward pleasure and preservation of the human specie. This can extend to being with more than one woman, hence men are polygamous. This view is myopic. True, our instincts can suggest such but our reason can say no when we've intentionally developed it to morally serve us that way. Thus, a man chooses to be polygamous when he develops his reason to serve him accordingly. Humans, men are not the at the mercy of their instincts, as promoters of "Men are polygamous in nature" opine. A man can choose to obey or disobey his instincts courtesy of his reason. Clearly, idea of "Men are polygamous in nature" is used by men who have a women weakness, refuse to take personal responsibility and work on it. They hide under culture and science unintelligently to secure tolerance of their bad behaviour (in Christian view) by women and society.
  7. First of all, if you think my family has good genetics, you're wrong. There is diabetes in my family, and cancer. My brother died at 67 from a heart attack attributed to diabetes. He gained too much weight and got sedentary later in life. My son, who's now 35, has had diabetes for 2 years now. He's lean and always works out and eats well. My aunt and uncle had diabetes. My blood sugar is always around 88. I've done this for 50 years. How long have you? Have you stayed under 10% body fat since age 17 through 62? My body fat went as low as 4% and i stayed around 6% most of that time. I love Italian food, and have, and still eat it today. Bread every day with sugarless jelly. Oatmeal every day. I was certified as a trainer with nutrition courses three times, and have been reading up on nutrition ever since I first lifted a weight at 17. This means I know what I'm talking about, seeing I got thousands of people to lose weight using my diet advice. My diet information is right on, seeing, again, I and others I've given advice to, have lost fat or stayed lean all their lives, as I keep in contact with many of them. These are people in their 40's to 80's. I didn't misrepresent what you said. I added that a Keto diet isn't good to follow long term. Nothing to do with what you said about pecking order, which you said I obviously didn't know about. I knew this before you ever thought about it, back in 1973. I knew that too many carbs kept you from being extra lean, as I read all of the bodybuilding and diet books back when Arnold, Zane, (who I met), Columbo and Clarence Bass (author of Ripped), were in their primes. Your opinions on what grows below ground are just that. Facts are, potatoes, sweet potatoes of all types, carrots, etc. are all healthy things to eat. What people put on them, along with their salads, is what ruins the diet. Anyone can get fat, especially as they age, if they don't follow sound advice on what to eat. Your posts are usually okay, and I don't like to argue, but on this topic, you're wrong. What works for you doesn't mean it works for everyone. There are millions of people who are lean who eat complex carbs, because they don't add the sweet sauces, butter, margarine or deep fry them. Bread and pasta grow in the earth, made from wheat, rice, corn, and other flours. Adding water to them doesn't put them into the processed category like many other foods are. Some bread isn't healthy, and I don't eat it. Companies add sugar and salt to almost everything to sell more. If you read labels, as I have for all these years, you see what's in the ingredients and can make a choice. I do know quite a lot about this, and I have had to do it myself, as I started to get fat at age 17, just before I started weight training and reading up like I said. I weighed 180 lbs and my body fat went up in just a year, then I started and lost it all fast because I changed my diet from the average teen diet to a bodybuilders diet. If I gave up complex carbs for a couple of weeks, I would be ripped again easily, because I keep myself close. Like I said, low carbs are good if you want to lose weight. If you need to lose weight, it's because you have eaten bad much of your life, and maybe drank too many sodas or alcohol. This still doesn't mean complex carbs are bad for anyone. Common sense helps a person lose weight. if you aren't overweight, starches are not a problem. Your family has always had weight issues because they didn't know , or care, about what makes a healthy, lean diet. If you think about what you have eaten all your life, I'm sure, if you had, or have, a weight problem, you ate too much fatty, fried, or sweet foods, or drank too much. It wasn't the complex carbs that made you, or anyone else fat. It's what you add to them. IF you need to lose a lot of weight, because you ate bad all your life, then you should keep the complex carbs low, because , of course, the body burns the most efficient form of energy first, so you can burn that stored body fat. IF you aren't overweight or obese, complex carbs are a healthy choice to any diet regimen. This also means you stop eating the excess sugar which comes in most every sauce, and stop drinking calories altogether, including beer and alcoholic beverages, milk, juice , tea and coffee with sugar, and sodas.
  8. I can also post links........https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7589116/.
  9. I've been into nutrition for the last 50 years, and have heard all kinds of truths and nonsense written about it. My ancestors did what they did because of habits, and genetics does make a difference, but if you don't take care of yourself, you can shorten your lifespan and bring about changes that can hurt you. My dad was always lean until he got sedentary, and then had a belly in his 50's. Exercise does make a difference, but diet is 75% of what you look like as far as your body being lean. Some people burn more calories than others, but eventually everyone's metabolism gets slower and you put on fat, unless you have always been eating lean and stayed active. I ate a little more carbs then I do now, and only cut back recently because I haven't been to the gym nearly as much as before I moved here. Everything you wrote I knew when I started working out at 17. This is why I'm still lean at 68. People fight weight issues because they don't eat healthy, period. You can eat as much as you want of things that grow, along with lean protein sources, and you won't get fat. Starches are very low in calories, and total calories mean a lot. The keto diet works because you are starving your body of carbs, which makes you burn stored fat. I knew this at 17 also, but never had to starve my body because i never ate besides healthy, with an occasional cheat of pizza, cheeseburger or a piece of chocolate, to this day. Staying on keto to me is taking a risk with your digestive system, although some think otherwise. Low carbs isn't a bad thing, as many have allowed themselves to gain a lot over the years from a bad diet and being sedentary, so that's the way to go to burn more stored fat. You only live once, and genetics does play a role, so giving up everything you like, as far as tasty carbs, isn't necessary unless you also are eating a lot of sugar (refined),high fat foods and drinking calories, which is one of the worse things you can do if you want to stay lean.
  10. Please don't post links of other's opinions. I go by facts, and what I've seen being in the gym and nutrition business all of my life. I've known plenty of vegetarians in my life, and again, if you get all of the essential amino acids, you can sustain your body. Many vegans think all they have to do is just eat vegetables and fruits, not understanding that food combining is necessary to get all of the essential building blocks. I always have an open mind, and have seen multitudes of bs thrown at people over the last 50 years I've been involved in nutrition, usually to promote something they want to sell, or to dispute proven facts. Everything you wrote I already know, but eating the skin of chicken isn't necessary because it's fat, and too much fat isn't good either. Making food move through your system is what's necessary, as it's not supposed to stay any longer than needed, and waste is what comes out, meaning things your body doesn't need. Just had my first colonoscopy at 67, and no polyps or cancer, clean, because I've eaten fiber all of my life, daily, along with lean meats, fish, eggs, game, veggies, fruit and grains. Not one to ever take chances as far as my body are concerned.
  11. Bread, pasta, rice, noodles, potatoes, sweet potatoes and other starches are okay if you aren't covering them with sugar, sauces, butter, high calorie pasta sauce, margarine or deep frying. I've eaten all these foods for over 50 years and have never been more than a couple of extra pounds (for me) over what I weighed when I started, Drinking calories is about the worst thing you can do.
  12. Vegetarian can be a good diet if they know how to combine foods to get all 8 essential amino acids to promote muscle growth. Fiber is an essential part of every diet to help the gastro system move foods through. It promotes a healthy gut microbiota and makes sure food doesn't stay in the intestines too long, constipation being a byproduct of slow evacuation. It also helps lower cholesterol. MSG isn't bad is taken in small amounts.
  13. I do everything I can to help her, as I've learned over the years, this is what a normal woman likes to see, and not chauvinistic attitudes. It's been almost 4 years now, and this one is thinking about visiting me when I move back to the states to see if she likes it there, and eventually move. Remember, you date women you purchase. I date women who aren't for sale. Ones who appreciate a decent man. Relationships last when you find one that's not mentally ill and that has the same future dreams.
  14. Unfortunaterly you read it wrong, again. I didn't post this about any Thai women. I was responding to your reply that ......."I can not think of any significant things, such as air travel, electricity , TVs, phones etc that women have contributed to mankind and the lifestyle we enjoy today".....which wasn't directed at Thai women but all women. Again, research before you reply..
  15. All of us aren't overweight, and some of our women cook for us because we take care of them in other areas, like cleaning, doing the wash, taking them out to eat, respecting their culture, etc etc
  16. Just doing what I always do, stating facts.
  17. Maybe not significant to you, but there's a few things women invented that are used a lot..............https://www.cadcrowd.com/blog/top-101-female-inventions-that-changed-the-world-womens-innovation-history/
  18. Since you're usually way off with your replies, I included a link to show you that men and women are pretty equal as far as intelligence. Only a misogynist would say men could live without women, as both genders are necessary to continue life, and some roles are meant especially for women. Women have shown to be capable hunters, fisherwomen and farmers, doing as well as the men. Men are usually more physical but that's not necessary for survival purposes. No gender would survive without the other.............https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_differences_in_intelligence
  19. Buddhism favors men. Women are looked at as inferior and the hope is that a woman is reincarnated back as a male.. The school system here is lacking but women are more likely to favor education.
  20. That's not from intelligence but a desirable body.
  21. For drug charges yes, but many get away with a lot of things here with an apology and a small fine. Those under aged in the US can be tried as adults, and they will always be punished, unlike here. If you kept up on local news here, there was an ex policeman that killed 23 small children in a school here, along with a few adults, his own kid and himself. I've raised 5 children back in the US and none of their schools ever had any gun violence. Of course it happens, because the precautions they need cost money and they haven't been pressured enough to install them, but they will. Here, the violence will continue for a century basically because no one really cares much about it, and those that do are too few to change things.
  22. A lot worse happens daily in most countries. Police in America do go overboard and it's something that needs to stop, but narcissists are the first ones to apply for police positions so they can exert their control. Sadly, they get in. I'll never make excuses for those kinds of officials, no matter where they are. America is still free,as opposed to living here.
  23. You left out water, music, hobbies and a good Riesling.
  24. I said besides the metal detectors. America has hospitals where they have to take everyone, especially without insurance. I've been to a few myself, as has all of my friends. America is not the only country with nuclear weapons., if that's what you're suggesting. I've never heard of a Nazi scientist in modern day America. Plenty of disturbed Nazi wannabes disguised as white supremacists, KKK members and racist idiots, right up to the White House.
  25. The most important point being a good relationship with her dad. If he's a loving, caring, non abusive dad she will love him, and know how to receive love from a man in her life. She will watch not only how he treats her, but his wife and other women in his life. This time here my ex's dad died a few years before I came into the picture, and I didn't see anything. I did see how her and her mom got along, after I visited here, and it was okay the first couple of times I visited, but appalling the remainder, after I had moved here. 11 kids and neglect and abuse were her childhood days, and this repeated itself in our relationship towards me. This is where a covert narcissist comes from.
