  1. And you wouldn't be here without them. Men aren't superior to women. That's a narcissists thinking. Everyone is equal and the only thing that makes one inferior is how they treat others.
  2. More caring doctors who thoroughly monitor their patients and what they initially give them. People overdose because they complain that the medicine isn't working, when a lot want to be numb. Fentanyl is given and kills thousands yearly, so it's use should be curtailed or stopped. My ex wife is an example of over prescribing. She did have health problems and pain, but complained constantly that the medicines weren't working well, this after being prescribed Fentanyl AND Vicodin, Morphine or Dilaudid for "breakout " pain, which is another way of saying I feel better when I feel nothing. She died last year from a heart attack, at age 62, and I'm sure all the medicines they gave her only hurt her more than helped. Her doctor always kept filling her prescriptions with only a few minute visit, not taking into account the stress they were putting on her body. This happens daily everywhere, because they aren't willing to do their job and follow up with tests, talk sessions and monitoring. I didn't have any response to your question regarding costs, only provided a link. Money lost always has to be accounted for someway.
  3. Opioids. When money is to be made, people do anything to get past what's moral and legal. This from one source........ Having the federal government lower drug prices directly—whether by negotiating with manufacturers or unilaterally setting prices—would save money for governments, employers, and consumers, but constitute a major policy initiative that turns away from reliance on market forces. Because of high U.S. prices, drug companies generate an estimated three-quarters of worldwide drug company profits in the United States. That means not only that U.S. consumers pay a lot, but also that reducing U.S. drug prices would lower manufacturer revenue and return on investment, likely cutting funding for development of new drugs, with a slowing of innovation.
  4. Because he already got paid, and it's an automatic statement, just like prescribing medicines, some of which kill thousands yearly.
  5. Best answer. My brother died 4 years ago from a heart attack at age 66. He had type 2 and was overweight. The doctors, as well as I and his family, asked him to lose weight but he loved to eat. He was around 260lbs(117kg). He, nor anyone else in my family I know of, never had heart problems, until this diabetes turned to type 2. Then , of course without any weight loss, he developed heart problems. His resting pulse and blood pressures were always very low like my own, yet he had to start taking heart medicine. he rarely exercised anymore, was always on the computer, and one day when he came home, he fell to the floor and was gone, found by his son. I have been bodybuilding about 50 years now, and eating very healthy all that time, including before that. My weight has been 168-175 (76-79kg) all that time, recently 168 because living here I can't get to the gym as often and have lost some muscle. Always have a six pack. The only other family member I remember that had diabetes was my aunt, my dad's sister, and now my son, who's 32. He is always very active and has eaten good all his life, so there's that genetic thing. I tested my blood sugar, for the first time in years, last year when I visited back home, at his house. It was 80. Tested twice, the same. My ex wife's mom here weighs maybe 85 lbs (38 kg), has type 2 for many years, daily insulin, without checking but once a month (unlike daily in the states). She has eaten white rice for all her life, as has my ex wife 120 lbs (54kg), who also developed diabetes tw years ago. Other family members also have it. My ex takes metformin for now. Most Thais are farmers, and work long days outside, eating basically the same Thai diet all their lives, which is high in complex carbs. Carbohydrates aren't the problem, they raise blood sugar slowly. White rice is the problem, high on the glycemic scale, and it raises blood sugar rapidly., which isn't good for a diabetic. Thailand has a high incidence of diabetes, about 1 in 10 adults diagnosed, because of this and genetics, along with those that are now accustomed to drinking the ever present sugar drinks and western junk food. Thais still are active for the most part, but obesity has been rising yearly because of the preponderance of introduced junk food and sugary drinks. Not all processed food is bad for health. Much has to be processed to be safe. Adding sugar and salt is from companies that want to sell the food, as they know people get addicted to sugar and salt.
  6. Guess you've never spent any time in the US to make such a statement. I was there 62 years, and rarely saw a policeman pull out his weapon unless threatened with a weapon. Sold guns for years also, talked with thousands of policemen, hunters and regular citizens. If you count the actual police calls made and see, most keep their weapons holstered. Of course, some police are plain power hungry and unstable, just like everywhere, and they give the rest a bad name.
  7. You also, as you respond pretty often. This is Isaan, kid at school, not a drinker but socially on weekends, gym doesn't open until 14:00, one of the most boring places on earth, so it's either music, movies or here on computer. More Christians than any other believers, but if you divide into religions, Catholics yes are the majority of Christians. Muslims follow as far as numbers behind Christians. Atheists or agnostics are about 7% of worlds population.
  8. Making up things isn't how things are proven. Scientists have many reason why the universe is expanding, but no proof how it originated. If you read what I've been saying, and understand what I've said, it's ours, as Christians, the over 2 billion believers, that God created everything. Some scientists believe in the RNA principle, a hypothesis, and that DNA came from this. A guess. Some believe that life might have originated on Mars, and came here from meteorites. A guess. Many scientists believe that God made everything, and that the universe was started in one place, and is expanding as we speak. maybe it is, but again, God started things, which shows that those scientists still had the sense to believe in a creator. I find it hard to believe in Noah's Ark, but with God, who can create the universe from his mind, anything's possible. There is evidence that the whole world was never under water, but the whole world wasn't inhabited by humans back then. Hubble himself made a guess that the universe was expanding. He made observations that he "interpreted" that this was happening. Might be true, as others have followed and said. Everything goes back to where I said, matter can't come from nothing. I didn't say a particular scientist made such a claim. I have faith, you don't, period. What we as Christians believe doesn't correlate to your accepted way of thinking. You came to this conclusion because something happened in your life where you lost faith. You said your parents were both religious, meaning they must have passed that thinking down to their child(ren), IF they cared enough about their kids. I didn't grow up with you, so I can't assume what happened there. Sometimes a mean, abusive parent will use religion to "teach" their kids discipline, the fear of God, and the belt if you don't listen. Sometimes a child may have no real relationship with his or her parents, who are religious, and they'll think,"what's the use believing in God if you end up that way"? Many will lose a family member or dear friend and blame a God that's heartless and cruel, not understanding that when that person died, it was his time to leave earth and be with God. Of course wanting that person back isn't being selfish, but if there is a God, and you're a believer, going on to heaven is a much better place than this earth by far. Like I said, we only live a very short time, and the difference between 90 years and 5 is negligible compared to forever. As far as what would I say to a parent that let's their child go wild and do stupid things while under their care, "You shouldn't have had children if you didn't care enough about them to teach them the difference between right and wrong, respect for elders, animals, other people and yourself, and that there is a higher power".
  9. You sure extract some strange things from what people say. I haven't threatened anyone. Making a joke out of what you've been saying, that either God doesn't exist or you'll spit in his evil face because you're better then him, is just that. You don't believe, nor for that matter, care what happens to you when you die. I am an empath, if you know what that means. For your benefit, it's the opposite of a narcissist. It means I care about others, that I have feelings for others pain, can put myself into others shoes ,and would never hurt anyone that didn't try and hurt me or my friends and family. You can use google again if you wish. You have been acting the part of a malignant narcissist, believing you are superior to others (you're not), smarter than I (you're not, and that's not an hypothesis, it's coming from observation on what you say), arrogant, just like a narcissist acts, trying to control others, which you can't do here, as I'm well aware of narcissism and why others act the part. Again, if you actually care to read and understand what I've been posting, I believe in God, that the universe had to be created, that matter, which comprises everything in our universe cannot come from nothing, that it came from God, our creator. That's plain common sense thinking. I don't believe what scientists say, just because they are scientists. Granted, a lot of them are smart in their fields, and do it because they are into whatever particular subject they choose, and they get grants and money from corporations, government and development agencies to help with research that will benefit some or all of us. This doesn't make them infallible, nor does it make me and others believe everything they say, because that would make us gullible. I'm not saying they're doing it all for the money, and to get paid, but that is a motivation, along with a desire to help. I've actually been doing the part of a Christian, making you think about what I've been saying, because as a Christian, it's my duty to tell others about God. What they do with that information is up to them. I do hate people, which I know is wrong, that intentionally hurt others, like child molesters, rapists, human traffickers, crooked police, politicians, judges, and lawyers, and those who rape the earth for profit., because after all, I'm human, and don't like when others take advantage of the innocents. I do wish God would intervene but that's not his deal. He gave us free will to live whatever way we choose, and in my thinking, diseases, natural catastrophes and the like, are his way of trying to wake us up. He's always been in charge, and pride and ego makes people think otherwise. I can't prove God exists, and you can't prove the universe just happened. Faith is believing in something you can't see. I want to go to heaven, as this world has shown more evil than good to me in 66 years, and if God can create everything from his mind, surely he can create a place with peace, love and no more pain. People make the problems on earth, not God.
  10. As I mentioned earlier, ignorant, and also a zealot, one who is determined to get their point across, that another who is replying on faith, is yes, passionate about that faith, but by no means fanatical.
  11. Assuming as always, haven't said one word proving your side is correct as far as how the universe came to be, Arrogant , ignorant and twisting answers around to suit your small minded ego. You are like one of the reasons I don't like living here. A small insect flying around your face, no matter how hard you try, it still keeps coming back annoying you, and doesn't serve a purpose other than that. Lastly, I didn't say you or anyone else should be tortured forever in hell. It was a joke, foretelling what may happen to you since you think there is no God, for whatever reason brought you to this thinking. Try actually reading and comprehending what I've said before you waste time spouting hatred. For someone who doesn't believe in God, you sure have a lot of hate for him. And like I mentioned, most of that hate usually comes from childhood. And again, you will meet him, even though your closed mind thinks he doesn't exist and this universe happened by itself. You still have time to repent.
  12. I'm thinking your whole life is based on assumptions, derogatory statements and research on Google. Who said the universe was created for me and a few others? It's here for everyone. The afterlife in Heaven is for those that believe in God. I use Google to look things up I already don't know, or want more information about, just like the billions of others out there. I never said my understanding of science was anything to do with biblical. Science is a study of the world by observation and testing of theories. Biblical is about the Bible and the writings told to man by God. Not the same. There are planets outside of our solar system. If there is life there is anyone's guess. The earth adapted to being in a fluctuating ellipse. I'm saying God made everything, including the earth and it's orbit. Sorry if that went over the head. Okay, science hasn't found an answer why the Bang happened, I'm saying everything happened from God. No proof otherwise. And again, since it's not getting through, there isn't ANY evidence the universe wasn't created, and just happened. Your quote- "You see all this stuff that points towards the human body NOT being intelligently designed? That's proof that the human body was intelligently designed." ........Yes, by God. Do you not know that assuming you know anyone online or in a forum, how much they know, what they do, or anything else for that matter, is the habit of a teenager? That it's a need to try and control others you think you are superior to. What you are actually doing is putting your own perspectives and values in a situation, thinking your way is correct and mine isn't, this without proof of your argument and only theories which you believe to be facts. I've said I'm a believer, that I will not take a chance on my soul by turning my back on God, knowing in my heart he is real. You, for some reason, although coming from a Christian background, "made up your own mind" and turned away from your parents thinking, for whatever reason you either came up with, or someone else brainwashed you into. My arguments are as valid as yours. Neither of us has real proof that God does or doesn't exist. All along I've said it's common sense that everything was created, because matter, which is everything, can not come from nothing. You look around every day of your life and you see the miracles of life and the universe. They just happened? I don't think so. When you die, remember what I've said when you come in front of God. Myran: I'm sorry God, fredwiggy was right, I should have listened. God: I'm sorry Myran, yes, you should have Satan, I have another one for you Satan: Okay God, Hey Hitler, put this one in the same room as BritmanToo, they can tell stories about life in Thailand.
  13. I think I explained why God allows things to happen, but you might have missed that in lieu of just not reading what I posted and formulating your own opinion. WE have free will, not God. He allows us to do whatever we want, hopefully abiding by his laws, and gives us the chance to choose his ways our own own selfish ways. Eccentricity allows the earth to fluctuate in distance from the sun by 1.7%, something we learned many years ago. The earth's movement is called an ellipse, another thing we knew in grade school. But it still remains a perfect distance away to allow life to flourish, unlike other planets in our solar system. If the earth adapted to this, how did that come to be? Oh I forgot, the explosion. Again, you assume you know what I can or cannot understand. Kinda arrogant, and maybe a little narcissistic. You have no idea how much I know about anything, and if you did, you would vanish from this forum very embarrassed. You say there are 5000 other gods, with vastly different ideas on how this universe was created, and I say there's only one. How do you know how many gods there are if they don't exist? You are still, again, believing other people and their theories, none of which has been proven either, on how things came to be. How is that different than my thinking, which makes more sense, than theirs? Gacy and Bundy did have their reasons, It's called insanity, and coming from a background of abuse and hatred towards women, or mental illnesses that may have been inherited, like schizophrenia. I know what the Big Bang is about, but what made it happen? Did it just happen, or was it God's doing? I'm guessing you can't answer that without googling another scientists viewpoint. The human body is far from perfect. It isn't supposed to last forever, and that's exactly why we believe in God. We know we're all going to die, and it usually is from the body, which no one calls perfect, wearing out. It's an amazing thing, but still has flaws, which God put there so we would have faith in believing in the afterlife, knowing full well these bodies will fail us all. Pretty simple actually, if you spend a moment and think about it. Spend more time thinking about what to do in your life instead of trying to put down someone that is far more knowledgeable than you could imagine. It isn't working and only makes you look like someone who doesn't try and help others.
  14. That's why opinions carry no weight. Even God himself allows divorce, for some things. And it is hard to stay in marriages where you are taken advantage of, where your wife kidnaps your child because she's a covert narcissist, cheating, physical or mental abuse, drug addiction or alcoholism. I claimed initiation because I did initiate. And that has absolutely no indication of how I treat women. A man doesn't read 65 books and thousands of articles on relationships, depression, parenting and family matters if he wants to hurt others. Quite the contrary, it's usually the women who read the books to try and help their marriages and relationships with their men. If that doesn't give you a clue, then you'll never understand the psychological aspect of getting to know a woman as more than a transaction. I treat women as well or better than any man alive, and I know this because the books I've read are from psychologists and counselors who have interviewed hundreds of thousands of couples who had relationship problems and then tried to help them. And I know what women have said that irks them about a man, and what they wanted and needed from them. And I thought you didn't believe in God, so why are you quoting what can't be done? I did say I'm not a Catholic anymore, and I can still attend any of their services if I wanted to. As far as ascending into heaven, that's between me and the God I believe in. He knows my heart, no matter what I've done.
  15. Assuming things you know nothing about again. It would be best if you stopped replying because it just shows hate and ignorance. I am neither brainwashed or need any sympathy from you. Actually, I feel sorry that your mind is closed to God, because he is the only chance you have to have anything after this life. I've mentioned that I'm not into any particular religion, being a Christian, looking at Jesus as God's son and our best chance at entering Heaven. I am a good, decent person, for the way I treat my significant other, my children and other people, and that won't get me into Heaven like knowing God will. You're saying God is evil and he created people in the first place, you being one of them. People can be evil, as many world leaders have shown us. Answer me one question. Just how do you think this world came to be? Because anyone that believes that the universe just happened by chance isn't too bright, as there has never been any proof otherwise. A creator now, that makes sense, especially as I've mentioned, the earth is the only planet we know that has life, and it just happened to occur just the exact distance from our sun to enable life to occur, and has everything life needs to sustain itself. A stroke of luck perhaps? And how did this life happen? All from one explosion many years ago, and out of this explosion came not just all the planets and stars in the universe, but all the species on earth, and the intricacies of the human brain and it's wonders of creation itself? Everything every species, including us, needs to survive is here. Another wall of text, with no substance? You haven't said one word to support another possibility. If you don't believe there's a God, why do you call him a murderer, petty, evil, nasty or enslavement endorsing, when it's people who have done this since the beginning? He has reasons why he doesn't yet intervene, or maybe he sometimes has, and we haven't seen it. People, including children, have come back from being clinically dead, and have mentioned seeing something, and children of telling things they couldn't possibly have known. A Myanmar monk was dead for three days, and about to be burned at the temple, when he came back, and mentioned he saw Buddha in hell. Hard to explain. Things happen all the time with no explanation, miracles have happened, or are they just coincidences?
  16. The earth was made with species, including us and our needs, in mind. We all require food, water and air. I agree with some that some species should not be here, as in they don't help the rest of them, but that still remains to be seen.
  17. I enjoy hunting, and being out in nature. I don't go there just to kill something, and most of the times, I just let the deer pass by and enjoy watching them. I only shoot mature animals that have passed on their genes and are up in years (for a deer). If you understood what hunters do, it's protecting their habitat with monies spent from licensing. Anti hunters rarely put any money towards habitat restoration and only complain about something they know little about. Hunting for most species is necessary to keep the animals within the carrying capacity of the land they inhabit. This is especially more so with all the destruction of habitat that happens when some people like to live out in the country and the developers cut down millions of trees to make yet another subdivision. If deer especially are allowed to over populate, which they do many times around cities, the deer-car accidents rise, people are killed, billions of dollars of damage happens to vehicles, the deer spread disease among them, and the habitat for them and other animals suffers from over browsing. I like to eat what I shoot also, and share a lot of it with family and friends.
  18. Because something someone writes is confusing to you doesn't mean that is has no substance. Because I can't prove God exists doesn't mean he doesn't. Because a few scientists have made a few guesses that the universe might have come about by an explosion of sorts, also doesn't mean it happened. It's faith, something you have in people (some) and not in a God, for reasons only you know. You've said you have never had faith. Why is that? Were your parents atheists also? That would explain some of it, but as you went into the world, you've heard people say there is a God, and looking around, you must have wondered how all of life came to be. That is, unless you're a teenager and only heard what scientists have come up with in the last 20 years or so. I went to a Catholic school for 8 years, and religion was taught daily, and I went to church every Sunday. I'm just a Christian now and I don't think any religion is necessary and some are downright blatant about greed. Some teach that we have different lives, with also no proof. Many teach to praise a man, or a statue, which is wrong if there is but one God. If there were more than one God, we would surely see them fighting for control, and proving themselves who is the better choice. Our one God doesn't need to do anything besides watch us believe or fall. That's what faith is. He may have put diseases here, and let children die of cancer, and of course I think that suffering is wrong, but if you take into consideration we rarely live past age 90, and compare that to forever, there's none. This to me is a test of sorts. If he indeed made everything, he has the right to make his own laws, and if you look at what his laws are, they aren't just made to honor him, but to protect us from ourselves and others. Of course I believe we should live longer lives, and be disease free, and he should show himself and only a fool wouldn't follow him and be good, at least most of the time, but that's again where faith and free will come in. He gives us the chance to choose. You have made yours, and you will see when you die, if there is just blackness, or is there a coming in front of him, and explaining yourself why you chose to turn your back on him. Then he will decide where you end up. I'm not taking that chance.
  19. I assume you think I am socially challenged because this post you're commenting on is related to me? You might want to change your thinking because I have hundreds of friends that I grew up with and still talk and do things with. In the course of a lifetime, most people can only count the number of real friends they can really count on on one hand. That is also true with me, but the others are still friends I can visit in a moments notice and have good talks and times with. That is the opposite of socially challenger as far as I know. God isn't imaginary to believers. He's imaginary to those that have been hurt in their lives and refuse to believe a God would allow this, not taking into consideration that we all have free will, and much of the time we are hurt it is brought on by ourselves or bad choices. People are evil because they have been raised in an evil environment or have nothing positive to turn to, so take their anger out on others to feel something. No, I nor anyone else can prove God exists, so we go on faith. Religion isn't my thing and it was made by people. being a believer doesn't mean you have to have a religion to go on. You just believe in God. Believing in science is believing in other people, who make mistakes. Granted, a lot of what scientists have discovered is true, but much is based on hypotheses. No one has ever proven how the universe came about. They have made a lot of discoveries about the universe they didn't know before telescopes and computers came into play, but still are making a lot of guesses about it's origin. We have been taught over the ages about God, and if you look around, like another has mentioned, you can see the miracles of life, all of which didn't just happen by chance and come from nothing. Everyone has a right to believe in anything they want, and it's no one's place to force them into thinking their way is right. We all will talk to God when we die, and for some of us, that will be too late. It doesn't matter what you believe, you can think the way you want. Think back on when you started to be a non believer. What happened earlier to make you change your mind about God? Some ignorant people have even gone as far as assuming that some here don't have the mental capacity to understand science, and so go with what they've been "brainwashed" for years. Not realizing that the person they could be commenting on could have an IQ over 150 and be a reader since childhood, on subjects that would confuse or amaze them. There are multitudes of other subjects besides astronomy that require intense thinking. My own dad had a genius level IQ and was the smartest man I've still ever known. Electronics, (built his own Ham radio) photography, (own darkroom before digital came into practice) magic, (tricks that would amaze Kreskin, close pov magic) and worked as a supervisor for a government related company in New Jersey over 30 years. Taught me to be a reader. My interests are music, health sciences, psychology, hunting, fishing, and I am also interested in astronomy, although as an observer of other's discoveries. I don't claim to know a lot about the universe besides what I've heard or read growing up, but my stance will never change. You have to have proof before something is taken as a fact. Otherwise it's faith, believing what other's have said and what you feel in your heart and mind. Throughout time, some teachers have been wrong, and many believe in them. and others are extremely knowledgeable and others think they are quacks.
  20. My dad was the main provider, wanted to teach me hunting, photography, ham radio, and magic, and I watched him cook all the time, but I wasn't interested until I left the house, then began Hunting, photography and cooking most of the meals when I was married in the states. He wasn't too affectionate but a good provider. My mom was very affectionate, both with me and my children, so I have that from her, and providing for my kids. You become your parents and act like them unless you change your thinking, and if they did things wrong or weren't there for you, you try your best to do things differently. My kids would complain when I asked them to do things, and had to repeat myself a lot. I didn't hit my kids, and they knew it, so sometimes it wasn't easy to enforce the rules. Now I hear my 37 year old daughter on the phone saying the same things to her two that I did to my kids when they were young. makes me laugh
  21. You don't understand that you are burying yourself deeper with every assumption. If you think I didn't know that a gaseous atmosphere is unlivable, you're a dolt. That the earth is exactly the right distance from the sun wasn't good luck, it was planned, sorry you can't understand such a simple concept. How do you know if I follow the Bible? I myself disagree with some of what's in it, because it was written by man, who can be mistaken in what they heard or seen. Prophecies are coming true, if you haven't noticed, and like I said, time will tell. Your statement beginning with "Don't forget cancer........I know and have known for 66 years what goes on here and everywhere on earth, and yes, I question why God doesn't intervene against evil. he gave us free will, and I'm guessing you know what that means? He gave us his laws, which all make sense, to protect us and others from harm. We choose to disobey because of that free will, and <deleted> happens. Children dying of cancer at two years old pisses me off of course, but those children will be in heaven when they die, especially before the age of reason. People who have been taught the difference between good and bad have a chance to choose what they do, and suffer the consequences eventually. God's thinking is so far above ours that we can only have faith, that an entity that can make such a beautiful place as earth and the universe, and all the good things it offers before some of man has destroyed it, can also ensure us a peaceful place after we die, because we stuck by him while our world fell down. That's called faith, something you lost along the way. Like I said, what made you stop believing yourself? Was it taught by a parent that hated God for his own reasons, did you lose a friend or family member you loved and questioned why they died young or from some <deleted> disease, or some other reason? God has his reasons and I can't fully understand why things happen as they do. I just go by faith that no matter how bad anyone has it, if they believe, the pain will end in time. People can be evil, as most of the worlds leaders have proven, and the rich raping the worlds resources for profit isn't God's way. Don't assume when you don't know for certain. I don't have to google things I already know about, and I do when I want to learn more. I've been reading daily since high school, and never against learning new things, as I have an open mind. Fairytales to me is thinking all of this happened by chance. That's not possible. And I haven't been brainwashed. I'm a free thinker, and only believe what I choose to believe because it makes sense to me. Read clivesheps post. He understands.
  22. They don't actually bite, but pinch, and my friend and school owner found that out recently when one pinched his hand. It blew up twice the size, when he was on the road, and had to stop in a hospital and stay overnight for a course of antibiotics. Took three days to get the swelling down. When I lived at my ex's mom's house, before our house was built, one over 10 inches long walked over my arm while we were in bed. My ex woke to my yelling, and we both pinned it down. I give her credit, she took it out fast. I fed it to the chickens in the morning. Earlier , I was stung by my first scorpion, a huge one a half a foot long. It made my lips numb, and I was at first worried, until I remembered this was a symptom and it's almost like a wasp sting, as long as you aren't allergic. Pain went away 30 minutes after I applied Afterbite. One reason I hate living here is the bugs, which make Texas' look harmless.
  23. Actually, a zealot is the opposite of what I am. I'm neither uncompromising or fanatical. I believe in the truth, not opinions. I'm not trying to make anyone do anything. I could care less what they think, especially if they're wrong. It's my duty as a Christian to spread the word. People have their opinions, and they've shown them here. Some have been right in what they've said, and he was wrong, simple as that. Him assuming he knows anything about me or how much I know is ignorance. I haven't been making opinions but statements which make sense to others who believe in God. Choosing not to will get you into a place you won't like. Back to why. I stated that it doesn't make sense, not just to me but to all other believers, that the universe just happened by itself. That it had to have a creator, which makes sense. If I'm wrong, I'd like to see proof otherwise. If they're right, I'd like to see proof also. In this case, no one can prove the other wrong, so it'll just take time to see the outcome.
  24. As Britman mentioned, you both have custody and can leave anytime you want with your son, as long as you don't leave Thailand. My ex did it 4 times, and I had to file for a divorce to get my child back here. It's wrong, and is basically parental kidnapping, and if it was done in the US, you would go to jail and lose custody. Here they don't have the same justice system, and its prejudiced more towards women. In America, I fought for custody and won.
  25. Best thing you could do is talk to her about letting you live elsewhere, not far away from her, with your son. Asking for the divorce and custody of your son and maybe offering her a counter offer if she's hesitant like a one time cash offer. She has to sign custody to you for that. Or just go to court and get a mutually agreed on divorce with joint custody is she doesn't want to sign over the child. You will have your own life, get to see your son, and keep documenting anything in case she still goes off. The police will not help you unless they are there and see something happening. Making a report that will be buried won't help until you go to court. If there isn't a fight for the divorce or custody you don't have a problem. The judge will decide everything if there is any fight. The woman will get main custody unless it is proven she is hurting the child or doing drugs with him there. Cheating is very hard to prove and to a judge it doesn't make her a bad mom. You will get visitation of every weekend at least or whatever you can negotiate if you want more. As a foreigner you will be asked for child support. Since you like it here, this isn't a major problem. I wanted custody of my daughter but my ex wasn't doing anything illegal as far as I knew so the judge gave her primary custody. I talked with 5 attorneys, including a farang, and they all said the same things. If you can settle this without an attorney, all the better. If you are not retired age, you will have to get a visa for a dependent, which you will because you have proof of being his parent. If you were retired, you could get a retirement visa to stay.
