Which cities in Isaan are the most English friendly?
I lived in Texas and have a best friend in Colorado, Fort Collins. Here there is two seasons, which I don't like. Prefer 4. Rainy season in most areas, rains almost every day, can be annoying . Dry season, hot, no rain for months at times, like Texas but higher humidity here (besides Houston and the coast). It's not like Colorado in any way. Hot, hot and more hot, only a couple months that are cooler , mostly in the early morning and evenings. Northern Thailand is cooler but still gets hot most days. Average 77 Fahrenheit. Khon Kaen 64-96 F. Korat 65-97F. Ubon Ratchathani 66-96F.

Ubon has all the things the rest do. The larger the city, the more it has.

Which cities in Isaan are the most English friendly?
The better chance will come from a professional who works and has her own money, who doesn't need a farang to be a sugar daddy, and old enough to understand what Thai men are mostly about. One that didn't have the need to go to the tourist cities to make money. Again, this isn't the US where you can find a woman that will be attracted to you and not your money. Although greed is everywhere, it's a lot bigger here and sticking with those professionals is a much better bet to find one that loves you for who you are. Finding homies is not an easy thing until you fit in with an area's crowd, as most do not speak English.

Why rich foreigners like me are spending much less in Thailand
They always ask me when I do.

Which cities in Isaan are the most English friendly?
The best answers are those you get from people who actually live close to, or in, those major cities. Some travel around and spend a day and think they know about the cities but they only see a bar or restaurant or two and haven't a clue. It's the same everywhere. All those cities have farangs, bars, temples, parks, gyms, restaurants, farang restaurants, hospitals, major supermarkets, and women. They are interchangeable for the most part. Isaan is Isaan, meaning it's a spread out area of Thai people and farangs, all whom prefer rural and country living and not tourist areas. All have women who speak some or good English, if you look for them. You can always use a translator on your phone to ask questions. Some areas do have a smoke problem, mostly the northern areas, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and Mae Hong Son. If you like beaches you'll have to drive at least 8 hours or take public transportation. Unless you like traveling, seeing Thai sites, and are comfortable in an area without beaches, Isaan is quite boring. You'll want to find the local farang crowd, which is in bars a lot of the time, because it isn't like rural USA. Not knowing the language is a deterrent to everyday life, so living in the city or very close is better.

What do you think is the biggest threat to humanity/civilization?
Yes, and you can't admit that you were talking about a child when you said parasite. I am for real. Children to me are important, and the main reason I'm still in a country that I don't like, and isn't good for my daughter.

Seems many women no longer think carrying a parasite around for 9 months with morning sickness, stretch marks, saggy boobs and potential death is a good idea.................................................. Your words. What else does a woman carry around for 9 months?

That's called free will. Some choose to hurt, others to help. Greed causes many deaths. Thou shalt not covet, steal, murder all things common sense but disregarded by many. World leaders being narcissists, they care only for power and money, and not the people they are supposed to be helping. Yes, God sits back and watches the insanity. He made the earth a certain size, knowing full well we would over populate it and run out of resources eventually. Or have wars that would end it. He could have made it the size of Jupiter, and it would last many more centuries. He knew what free will would do.

We've been educated on what kind of character you are and also aware that you have no empathy. It has helped those that will be looking at your subsequent posts.

Why rich foreigners like me are spending much less in Thailand
What many people don't understand is that those earning the highest 2% of money are in certain categories. Actors, professional sports figures, some musicians, land developers (rapists for profit), some surgeons and criminals. Most you can see are unnecessary and overpaid for the little they do besides part time entertainment and destruction of earth's resources. . Lottery winners didn't earn money. You, and they are not better but worse, even though all people are equal as humans, they are less as a person. I'm wondering what job he had. Unless he's Mark Zuckerberg or the like.

You have less than 10 years?
This is what he said, it's in the original posting, and it is what's all the people replying are talking about..........................And one thing I enjoy in my workplace which is a very large hospital is to tell older workmates usually in their 70's that they have less than 10 years left in probality. ......................He enjoys telling people in their 70's that they have less than 10 years left. It's a sad, shallow, hurtful thing to say to someone who has made it in life that far, and more often than not, still wants to live as long as possible, without having anyone say you'll be dead in 10 years or less. NO ONE wants to hear such a statement. NO ONE. People aren't that stupid. They know we all die, and most live only 85 years or so, with many going to 90+. It's a totally unnecessary thing to say, and I wonder what he gets in his mind from seeing the look on their faces when he tells them that. When someone says I'm old at 67, I don't want to hear it, because it's an ignorant thing to say. Do they not realize their times coming sooner than later? I'm not talking about teenagers or younger, because at least their young ignorance is an excuse.

Three favourite movies
They are indeed among the greats. It's not just his opinion. A movie is great because of what it is, what it shows, how it makes people feel, how people can relate to it. Those three rate very high, meaning many people have voted it that way. Any movie that gets to 8.0 on IMDB is a great movie, and many that rate from 6.0 to 8.0 are very good also, with some being great. Some people think a Pee Wee Herman movie is great. Some people don't understand what makes a movie great, and to them a great movie might go over their heads.

Which is contrary to what you earlier said, that children are parasites.

There isn't a version of God. There is one God, period. I was on the God thread and saw many intelligent and many ignorant replies, meaning there is a lot of ignorance and a lot of intelligence in the world. Some of those are believers and some are not. I can't judge them. Only God can.

Three favourite movies
I left out many, including that and The Magnificent Seven, Dances with Wolves, Defiance, Ronin, Open Range, Empire Of the Sun, along with many more, but he wanted three, and I couldn't stop. I have well over 1000 dvd's, most of the best rated movies and then some.

God isn't in charge of man's decisions. That's called free will. Free will is how we make good or bad choices. My mistakes were always falling too fast and not getting to know them better.

You have less than 10 years?
It's not a crutch if you feel strong in your beliefs. What else is there? Hopelessness.

You have less than 10 years?
God is hope for those living. Living on earth is usually pain, loss, death. We as believers hope for a place to go to without all that pain. It's a lot better also than believing that all of the universe just happened to be, which is impossible to anyone with any sense. There are those that are naive and believe others who have theories. We also have a theory. It's called faith. And seeing all that has been created, not made from nothing.
-
You have less than 10 years?
It isn't lying to have hope to live longer, especially if you're healthy and have all your faculties. No one is in denial that we all die. As believers in God, we are hoping to go to a place without pain, but we still want to enjoy what the earth can give us. Some of us have reasons to live as long as we can, so we take care of ourselves, knowing there is no guarantees that doing everything will ensure a longer life.

Have kids before you call them names. Our "species" main thing in life on earth is to have families, raise kids respectfully and treat others well. Thinking our species will die off and be replaced with another is against the reason we are here in the first place. I'm guessing you aren't a believer in God by your statement, so everyone is a parasite to you. Not to my thinking.

You have less than 10 years?
Which is why you don't go around telling people they only have 10 years to live, nor any other time limit. They'll find out for themselves as will everyone else.

You have less than 10 years?
Again you're guessing, assuming, how long he might live, which again, is a sad thing to say. He might live 20 more years, and you might have an airplane hit your house this afternoon. There are no guarantees.

Money and brains aren't going to ensure longevity. Exercise, diet, meaning a healthy one, no smoking or excessive drinking. Zero stress is impossible if you have a conscience, which means, if you have loved ones, you worry about them. No one escapes stress unless they have no conscience. My father had a genius level IQ, and his two sons are pretty smart. One son, who was in good shape most of his life, ate healthy but maybe a little too much, had diabetes take over. Then he didn't lose enough weight, so died at 67 from a heart attack, brought on by the diabetes. He was supposed to live until 75-80. Life expectancy calculators are fairly accurate, but people have died at 40 from illnesses who were expected to live to 90. Our parents died at 79 and 84 from cancer. Dad smoked 3 packs a day for over 60 years, and made 79. Mom had bladder cancer, they waited too long, and died at 84. Bladder cancer usually comes from smoking too much. Mom never smoked, although was subjected to second hand.

You have less than 10 years?
Telling people they have a certain amount of time left is a despicable action. People who have made it to their 60's want to know they will be around for many more years. You think people should just give up when they hit a certain age? You live only once, and most want it to last forever. Of course everyone knows that's impossible but reminding them their demise will soon come, not knowing if they might live to 105 is not a realist but a dumb**s. You might die today. No one knows when they will go besides terminal ones and they still don't know exactly when, and are hoping they will go on. Keep your comments to yourself and hope karma doesn't come your way soon, because sometimes it does.
