READ! Basic burger ingredients are not un healthy. You aren't modifying it unless you are adding un healthy ingredients. READ this again. I have been doing this for 50 years, and helped thousands. Have you? Everyone I have ever helped with advice on what to eat and not to eat has made progress. Lost fat, gained strength, helped rid themselves of diseases. This is because my advice is sound. I'm not telling people to eat cheeseburgers everyday. it was YOU that said how are these foods healthy. I told you, but you still don't understand. Try reading up on what makes a diet healthy. I've followed it all of my life, and don't have any health problems, so I'm guessing it works.
-
You, again, asked me how these foods can be healthy. I showed how. You haven't read all of my posts. I did say they are high in calories. This does not mean un healthy. It means you limit them if you need to lose or maintain your weight. Again, since you're still missing the point. You ask the restaurants what goes in their food, before you eat it. You still think these foods are un healthy. They aren't IF they are made healthy. A person can make a salad un healthy by loading on high sugar, fat and calorie dressing. The basic ingredients in a burger are, again, healthy. 20% fat isn't un healthy. It's again, not something you should eat everyday. This is another point you've been missing. You can save fat and calories by using 93% lean beef.

Go back to your first reply, asking me to tell you how to make these foods healthy. That's what I did. Then you asked how they can do it here. I said either do it yourself at home, or ask about the ingredients they use in restaurants here, and don't add un healthy ones. I offered suggestions on how to keep them healthy. You're the one that kept on, asking me to prove what I've said. I posted links. You disputed evidence anyone could understand. You said you needed 3x the food because you were a "world class something". I replied, because working out is what I've been doing for 50 years, along with eating healthy. I'm not feeding anything but disputing your errors. You keep coming back, so this shows you're being obnoxious as you can't admit you might be wrong I offered proof. You said it's nonsense. Do you understand now? People are going to eat what they want and most don't eat very healthy, with the proof all over as far as diseases and being overweight are concerned. I gave solid advice IF you wanted to eat those foods. All anyone has to do to eat right is to read some data on nutrition. I've done this all my life because I want to be healthy. You're going on and on, trying to prove cheeseburgers and lasagne aren't healthy. Do you actually think most people care? They're going to eat them because they like the tastes. Those that want a healthy way to eat can find places, or better yet, to make Thailand a better place for value, make therm at home.
-
Are you his mom? I'm giving advice, if you have read what I wrote. He's disputing it, because he doesn't understand the nutrition value of these foods people eat, here and worldwide. I've been helping people with diet and exercise advice for 50 years. This isn't obnoxious and you don't have to read them.

I'm what's called an empath. Look it up. I help others, all the time, all my life. Narcs don't. That's where they are self centered. I admit when I'm wrong. You haven't, actually either thinking you're right, arguing with someone who's done this all his life, or refusing to admit you've been wrong because of a lack of sense, or maybe just lack of knowledge and naive. I don't need admiration, just respect, as I show others. I don't control anyone, ever. I do point out when someone is wrong in an argument. That makes it a learning experience for those that aren't narcissists, because they never admit they're wrong, as you have acted here. I don't think I'm better than anyone as a human. I know quite a lot about some topics, and obviously more than you , so I pointed that out. You still think you're right, this after I posted more links that you probably didn't bother to read through, or just skim through. Many of these traits are what you're been doing throughout this topic. If the shoe fits.
-
You skim, and have all along. I mentioned that he can get them here, but I guess you missed that. Read this a few times, as comprehension seems to be one of your shortcomings. You ask the restaurant to put what you want on the cheeseburger. You ask them what type of beef they use. You don't add extras like too much cheese, sauces, mayo. This is how I, and those that want to eat healthy, eat out. I have cheeseburgers at Leo's and the Hong Kong Garden in Sisaket province. Good, basic , healthy ingredients. This is the same as many countrywide, from what I see and hear from friends that eat all over Thailand. You ask what they use, you don't put un healthy things on. Pretty simple, actually things I learned when I started lifting weights in 1974, and reading all I could on bodybuilding principles. Those that choose to stay lean and healthy. I'm surprised an adult cannot get the gist of this, but you can research more, and talk less.
-
Yes, that describes you to a T, as I have all along.
-
Making them healthier means they are now healthier. It doesn't mean they are basically an unhealthy dish. Many people put things on a burger that makes it un healthy. The basic ingredients of a burger are? Beef, cheese, onion, lettuce, tomato, bun, pickle, These are not un healthy ingredients. Do you understand now? They are not "special" ingredients. Again, it is what some people put on them that makes them un healthier.BBQ sauce on BBQ is not un healthy. You use too much, it's more sugar calories. Do you understand? You have been wrong all along and are still trying to point that finger at me. You aren't too bright it seems, especially where nutrition is concerned. I have been doing this 50 plus years and I'm as healthy as any healthy teenager. Everyone I have ever helped with diet advice has made progress, and those that have stayed with it are now still healthy, including all my children. Do you understand? I did not go wrong but you sure have. You're trying to tell someone with 50 years experience their game, while you seem to know very little about it, and I'm not sure you follow your own advice in healthy eating. I do, and have, all these years, and I showed my results earlier. You really need help, thinking you're the one that's right here, but I'm used to narcissists, as they are everywhere worldwide, and they all act the same. Understand also this. I never said to eat these things all the time, every day etc. Some food is high in calories, which isn't something most people would like to eat all the time, seeing how many overweight people there are worldwide. You limit these foods. This does not mean they are un healthy because they are higher in calories than other food dishes. You are arguing with someone that obviously has done this for a very long time. I know myself, and those I've helped. We are healthy and lean, for 50 years. That says something to anyone not a dolt. I don't know you, how you eat, how much body fat you have, or if you're a chain smoking drunk, and a hypocrite. You may be lean, and know the basics on what to eat. This does not mean you can judge someone who does this for a living for 30 years and for himself for 50.
-
I bring back things I can't get here, and under the limits. Cereal, spaghetti sauces, pretzels, salad dressings, pasta, tuna, spray butter, and a few more, never a problem as only for personal use.
-
Many countries, if not all developed, have laws that canned or bottled foods need to be labeled to show ingredients. Some of those ingredients are vitamins, minerals, and natural thickening ingredients that many might not understand by names, along with the ones that aren't natural or healthy. I buy jelly for my toast which has all the ingredients in it, which is fruit and fruit juice, no added sugar. Without growing your veggies and fruit, you have to assume they've been sprayed, even those labeled organic, but those with chemical free pesticides.

It isn't that we think you definitely don't know anything about nutrition. Your replies show us how little you do know about certain things on nutrition, or aren't open minded enough to research beyond what someone might have told you. 60 years in the food business and 50+ in the fitness and nutrition business kinda speaks volumes. Another nonsense, rubbish, clownish link you won't read.............https://www.verywellfit.com/cheeseburger-nutrition-facts-and-healthier-swaps-4109684.
-
I'm thinking you can't understand that you can make your own burgers, healthy, at home, or find a few places here in Thailand that cooks them with good ingredients. Logic seems to escape you. Here's another link you won't read.............https://blog.myfitnesspal.com/can-burgers-be-healthy/
-
You're doing the same thing to him as you do with me. You assume you know anything about anyone from a few posted replies. You don't. You do show that you have very little knowledge on nutrition, don't believe others even when proved wrong, need to argue with certain people just because they previously proved you wrong, always think you're right, no matter if proven wrong, don't bother to read links provided, because if you did, you would see the truth. And you seem to think you're a pizza expert just because you tried a few in Italy and NYC. Face it, you're always wrong when you post, and cannot admit it. This again, fits the profile of a narc to a T . And stop answering for others here, They aren't on your side, from the lack of agree emojis I've seen.
-
Actually, I do know what I write about because again, I go by facts and not opinions. Trained at a world class level? What would that be, as I'm pretty sure I was close to that in my lifts, especially those without steroids, in my weight class. And you never need 3 times the food as the rest of the normal population does, so that itself is bull, unless, you were an olympic class long distance runner, where you would more food. TRY reading the links I provided, fully, without skimming. There are plenty more, IF you bother to research. READ all the words I write without again, SKIMMING, so you can maybe understand all of it. I NEVER said I knew more than anyone else in anything. I do know quite a bit about certain topics, including narcissism, which through all of this it seems you fit the description.
-
Do you actually read anything or just get your information from friends? You can, if you choose to educate yourself on the subject, look up many links of how pizza and burgers can be healthy, and I did provide a link about pizza. Burgers can be un healthy or healthy. It depends on who makes them and with what. This is common sense. The same goes for many other foods. I've been into nutrition all my life. Read and re-read countless articles about what foods a person should eat for the best nutritional value, how to eat to stay lean, lower cholesterol, reduce body fat, lower your risks for diseases etc etc etc. A person who does this looks for all the information he can to improve his health, along with others he's training. It's called a job...............https://www.menshealth.com/nutrition/a26149219/is-pizza-healthy/. Here in Thailand I have had decent pizza, and I see that there are more places that supposedly have good pizza. Many cities worldwide have great pizza, according to other's opinions. This all started because you wanted to somehow disprove what I said about pizza et al, being healthy. You did this because I argued in an earlier post, saying NYC/New Jersey pizza is among the best worldwide. It is, and has been voted in many times. Italy had number one, along with Napolitano's. This is easily looked up. You disputing the poll thinking it's marketing is your opinion, and your deal. It doesn't make you right. It's all opinions about who makes the best of anything. Of course, places that get voted in every year must have good pizza if they're getting the majority of the votes. You thinking you know more than anyone about who makes the best, just because you tried a couple in NYC and Italy, means nothing. Your opinion, that's all. Like I said, if you want information, google it, instead of thinking you're right and others are wrong, just because you think so. I found this link, just gor you, in 5 seconds, although you will say it's wrong, marketing, lies, nonsense, rubbish, because? You think you're always right. Sorry to upset your wagon.....................https://www.consumerreports.org/health/healthy-eating/build-a-healthy-burger-a2658617628/
-
But I'm not wrong. And I thought it was you, thinking, again, that Italy makes superior pizza to NYC, when NYC tied them in ratings. Another foolish argument, because good pizza comes from many cities worldwide. Whatever I appear to you isn't for you to decide on what others think. There are some here that understand what I've been saying, and you think it's rubbish. Again, your opinion, and meaningless. I know nutrition better than you, your replies showing this well. When I read something, from many reputable sources, and they all say the same things, it's quite clear it becomes factual. This is what you aren't getting, and probably never will. By the way, people coming from Italy and making pizza in the US, can make pizza that's just as good as in Italy. Remember, you're just a visitor to the US, and trying a few pizzas there doesn't qualify you as an expert. It's just your opinion. What I've said about pizza and burgers, etc being healthy, is a fact. Look it up instead of posting silly retorts. And you thinking you're right all along, with no evidence that I'm wrong, while I've posted evidence I am, shows you are definitely a narcissist, because they never agree with anyone, thinking they're always right, with no evidence on their sides besides their own opinions. Give it a rest. Assuming I've never been anywhere, am posting rubbish, nonsense, whatever, shows you're not too bright. You are the one not letting it go, and just saying I'm wrong, not realizing you've been wrong all along. Try reading what others write, not skimming, and researching , before you reply, as it's the best recourse.
-
I could say exactly the same thing about you.................... " No one believes NY Pizza and cheese burgers are healthy foods. Just you." I don't obsess about anything besides music and hunting and fishing. You assume what I know, and what others think. I know what professional nutritionists have said. there's a difference.
-
Did I say Erythritol was okay? No, I never use it. I do use Splenda and Equal, limited. I don't eat "crap", and if pizza, burgers, scampi and lasagne, cooked healthy style, are crap to you, you know absolutely nothing about good nutrition. What I say might be weird to you, but that's because you don't understand nutrition like i do, and perhaps go by what a few of your friends have said and not researched about nutrition for 50 years like i have. "No one believes NY pizza and burgers are healthy? How many people do you actually know that know anything about nutrition? I know many, and have read countless books and articles about food for years. But I guess they are all nonsense also. There are countless articles written about the health benefits of certain foods. Do like I do. Look them up. I'm not shoving anything down anyone's throat. I just tell things as they are. it's up to people what they choose to eat. I know what's healthy, and what's not. I give advice and it's always helped. Positive feedback is a clue.Thailand does have some things that are a good value for the money, and much is a complete waste of money, especially building houses and repairing electrical supplies, and fixing roads , where they are years behind the west.
-
You keep saying it's nonsense and that's only your opinion, and it doesn't disprove anything because you aren't a credible person from what you've said. You keep trying to disprove what I'm saying but failed to, only offering up, "it's nonsense". I have been doing this all my life, and know the health value of food. You saying pizza, burgers and scampi etc aren't healthy shows just how little you do know . They CAN be healthy if prepared healthy, just as healthy food can be made un healthy by adding certain things. Research more, go less by others opinions. Simple. I've eaten things with sugar alcohols a long time, limited of course, and they haven't caused me any trouble whatsoever. BP 115/54. resting pulse 58, blood sugar 88, cholesterol below 5.o body fat under 10% now, from age 17-62 3-6%. If you care to read,...............https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/sugar-alcohols-good-or-bad#types
-
You missed where I wrote if you limit their use. You'd be surprised what sugar alcohols are actually in . And why would anyone who has experience in something for 50 years lose credibility? On the contrary, that's what makes a person credible. Experience, and not opinions gained from fly by nights online. Researching is a tad different than bar tool philosophy.
-
Funny, thousands have and have gotten healthier, stronger and lost fat. Guess they trusted it. Making stupid comments doesn't do anything because again, you need to prove someone wrong before your replies mean anything. So far, they haven't.
-
Sugar alcohols aren't bad if you limit their use. Again, I'm not in denial and know this ,as this has been my life for 50 plus years, and you can't argue with positive results, not only for me but for the thousands I've helped. Try not assuming what I do or don't know, because you have absolutely no idea, and you aren't the one who's been in the health game for 50 years. Do you actually think people in Europe are mostly healthy? Very few places are blue areas worldwide, and research their diets. This is what I follow a lot. How they eat. The obesity rate in many EU countries is as high as 55%, which isn't too far behind the US. And the US isn't an entity of itself but all countries in one place, with a lot of Europeans and Asians there that are overweight and not healthy. I don't know everything. No one does, but I've put in a lot of time reading up and experiencing it firsthand.
-
I think the number is more like 60% plus, obese and overweight, and I saw it daily training in a few gyms, along with daily living there. Pharma doesn't give a rat's ass what Americans do, as long as they use their drugs. After all these years, I've gotten it down to a science of what to east and what not to,and it's worked for me and many others I've given advice to. You can't trust much in this world.
-
I agree about the additives, and have tried to stay away from them as much as possible bit it isn't easy, especially if you want to drink no sugar drinks. If you ask a restaurant to prepare something a certain way, they'll honor it. Here they don't understand too well. Pesticides are used all over so you have to wash everything before you eat it.
-
Every country has additives added to food. Exports and imports go everywhere. I was asked if I knew of any granola with low sugar. I listed them. Sugar is un avoidable to almost everyone. The amount you eat is what matters. Again, I never said Thailand pizza was good, although some are. I said pizza can be healthy. I spent 62 years in supermarkets in the US. All sell crap and all sell good food. It's up to you what you buy. The same as here and Thailand is getting worse with their eating habits.
