I'm thinking you can't understand that you can make your own burgers, healthy, at home, or find a few places here in Thailand that cooks them with good ingredients. Logic seems to escape you. Here's another link you won't read.............https://blog.myfitnesspal.com/can-burgers-be-healthy/

You're doing the same thing to him as you do with me. You assume you know anything about anyone from a few posted replies. You don't. You do show that you have very little knowledge on nutrition, don't believe others even when proved wrong, need to argue with certain people just because they previously proved you wrong, always think you're right, no matter if proven wrong, don't bother to read links provided, because if you did, you would see the truth. And you seem to think you're a pizza expert just because you tried a few in Italy and NYC. Face it, you're always wrong when you post, and cannot admit it. This again, fits the profile of a narc to a T . And stop answering for others here, They aren't on your side, from the lack of agree emojis I've seen.

Actually, I do know what I write about because again, I go by facts and not opinions. Trained at a world class level? What would that be, as I'm pretty sure I was close to that in my lifts, especially those without steroids, in my weight class. And you never need 3 times the food as the rest of the normal population does, so that itself is bull, unless, you were an olympic class long distance runner, where you would more food. TRY reading the links I provided, fully, without skimming. There are plenty more, IF you bother to research. READ all the words I write without again, SKIMMING, so you can maybe understand all of it. I NEVER said I knew more than anyone else in anything. I do know quite a bit about certain topics, including narcissism, which through all of this it seems you fit the description.

Do you actually read anything or just get your information from friends? You can, if you choose to educate yourself on the subject, look up many links of how pizza and burgers can be healthy, and I did provide a link about pizza. Burgers can be un healthy or healthy. It depends on who makes them and with what. This is common sense. The same goes for many other foods. I've been into nutrition all my life. Read and re-read countless articles about what foods a person should eat for the best nutritional value, how to eat to stay lean, lower cholesterol, reduce body fat, lower your risks for diseases etc etc etc. A person who does this looks for all the information he can to improve his health, along with others he's training. It's called a job...............https://www.menshealth.com/nutrition/a26149219/is-pizza-healthy/. Here in Thailand I have had decent pizza, and I see that there are more places that supposedly have good pizza. Many cities worldwide have great pizza, according to other's opinions. This all started because you wanted to somehow disprove what I said about pizza et al, being healthy. You did this because I argued in an earlier post, saying NYC/New Jersey pizza is among the best worldwide. It is, and has been voted in many times. Italy had number one, along with Napolitano's. This is easily looked up. You disputing the poll thinking it's marketing is your opinion, and your deal. It doesn't make you right. It's all opinions about who makes the best of anything. Of course, places that get voted in every year must have good pizza if they're getting the majority of the votes. You thinking you know more than anyone about who makes the best, just because you tried a couple in NYC and Italy, means nothing. Your opinion, that's all. Like I said, if you want information, google it, instead of thinking you're right and others are wrong, just because you think so. I found this link, just gor you, in 5 seconds, although you will say it's wrong, marketing, lies, nonsense, rubbish, because? You think you're always right. Sorry to upset your wagon.....................https://www.consumerreports.org/health/healthy-eating/build-a-healthy-burger-a2658617628/

But I'm not wrong. And I thought it was you, thinking, again, that Italy makes superior pizza to NYC, when NYC tied them in ratings. Another foolish argument, because good pizza comes from many cities worldwide. Whatever I appear to you isn't for you to decide on what others think. There are some here that understand what I've been saying, and you think it's rubbish. Again, your opinion, and meaningless. I know nutrition better than you, your replies showing this well. When I read something, from many reputable sources, and they all say the same things, it's quite clear it becomes factual. This is what you aren't getting, and probably never will. By the way, people coming from Italy and making pizza in the US, can make pizza that's just as good as in Italy. Remember, you're just a visitor to the US, and trying a few pizzas there doesn't qualify you as an expert. It's just your opinion. What I've said about pizza and burgers, etc being healthy, is a fact. Look it up instead of posting silly retorts. And you thinking you're right all along, with no evidence that I'm wrong, while I've posted evidence I am, shows you are definitely a narcissist, because they never agree with anyone, thinking they're always right, with no evidence on their sides besides their own opinions. Give it a rest. Assuming I've never been anywhere, am posting rubbish, nonsense, whatever, shows you're not too bright. You are the one not letting it go, and just saying I'm wrong, not realizing you've been wrong all along. Try reading what others write, not skimming, and researching , before you reply, as it's the best recourse.

I could say exactly the same thing about you.................... " No one believes NY Pizza and cheese burgers are healthy foods. Just you." I don't obsess about anything besides music and hunting and fishing. You assume what I know, and what others think. I know what professional nutritionists have said. there's a difference.
-
Did I say Erythritol was okay? No, I never use it. I do use Splenda and Equal, limited. I don't eat "crap", and if pizza, burgers, scampi and lasagne, cooked healthy style, are crap to you, you know absolutely nothing about good nutrition. What I say might be weird to you, but that's because you don't understand nutrition like i do, and perhaps go by what a few of your friends have said and not researched about nutrition for 50 years like i have. "No one believes NY pizza and burgers are healthy? How many people do you actually know that know anything about nutrition? I know many, and have read countless books and articles about food for years. But I guess they are all nonsense also. There are countless articles written about the health benefits of certain foods. Do like I do. Look them up. I'm not shoving anything down anyone's throat. I just tell things as they are. it's up to people what they choose to eat. I know what's healthy, and what's not. I give advice and it's always helped. Positive feedback is a clue.Thailand does have some things that are a good value for the money, and much is a complete waste of money, especially building houses and repairing electrical supplies, and fixing roads , where they are years behind the west.

You keep saying it's nonsense and that's only your opinion, and it doesn't disprove anything because you aren't a credible person from what you've said. You keep trying to disprove what I'm saying but failed to, only offering up, "it's nonsense". I have been doing this all my life, and know the health value of food. You saying pizza, burgers and scampi etc aren't healthy shows just how little you do know . They CAN be healthy if prepared healthy, just as healthy food can be made un healthy by adding certain things. Research more, go less by others opinions. Simple. I've eaten things with sugar alcohols a long time, limited of course, and they haven't caused me any trouble whatsoever. BP 115/54. resting pulse 58, blood sugar 88, cholesterol below 5.o body fat under 10% now, from age 17-62 3-6%. If you care to read,...............https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/sugar-alcohols-good-or-bad#types
-
You missed where I wrote if you limit their use. You'd be surprised what sugar alcohols are actually in . And why would anyone who has experience in something for 50 years lose credibility? On the contrary, that's what makes a person credible. Experience, and not opinions gained from fly by nights online. Researching is a tad different than bar tool philosophy.
-
Funny, thousands have and have gotten healthier, stronger and lost fat. Guess they trusted it. Making stupid comments doesn't do anything because again, you need to prove someone wrong before your replies mean anything. So far, they haven't.
-
Sugar alcohols aren't bad if you limit their use. Again, I'm not in denial and know this ,as this has been my life for 50 plus years, and you can't argue with positive results, not only for me but for the thousands I've helped. Try not assuming what I do or don't know, because you have absolutely no idea, and you aren't the one who's been in the health game for 50 years. Do you actually think people in Europe are mostly healthy? Very few places are blue areas worldwide, and research their diets. This is what I follow a lot. How they eat. The obesity rate in many EU countries is as high as 55%, which isn't too far behind the US. And the US isn't an entity of itself but all countries in one place, with a lot of Europeans and Asians there that are overweight and not healthy. I don't know everything. No one does, but I've put in a lot of time reading up and experiencing it firsthand.
-
I think the number is more like 60% plus, obese and overweight, and I saw it daily training in a few gyms, along with daily living there. Pharma doesn't give a rat's ass what Americans do, as long as they use their drugs. After all these years, I've gotten it down to a science of what to east and what not to,and it's worked for me and many others I've given advice to. You can't trust much in this world.
-
I agree about the additives, and have tried to stay away from them as much as possible bit it isn't easy, especially if you want to drink no sugar drinks. If you ask a restaurant to prepare something a certain way, they'll honor it. Here they don't understand too well. Pesticides are used all over so you have to wash everything before you eat it.
-
Every country has additives added to food. Exports and imports go everywhere. I was asked if I knew of any granola with low sugar. I listed them. Sugar is un avoidable to almost everyone. The amount you eat is what matters. Again, I never said Thailand pizza was good, although some are. I said pizza can be healthy. I spent 62 years in supermarkets in the US. All sell crap and all sell good food. It's up to you what you buy. The same as here and Thailand is getting worse with their eating habits.
-
Actually, everything I've ever replied about has been fact based. I don't make opinions, because they mean nothing. A couple like you have said the same thing, and haven't backed it up by proving anything I've written as wrong. Many others have agreed with me because, they also are intelligent and research.
-
Your opinion is again noted, and again, wrong. You chose places in the US that didn't make healthy dishes. I lived there 62 years, and NEVER had any issues with my stomach . Read this article, and don't SKIM................https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/is-pizza-healthy#a-healthy-choice
-
I never write nonsense, You obviously know nothing about nutrition, and may never have ever read much on it. I have daily for 50 plus years, and staying healthy and strong all my life has proven it. I have given diet advice to thousands while training and working out, and they all benefited from it. That comes from a person that does his homework, and not one who assumes , thinking they know nutrition from reading a few articles from others opinions. You have to put in the time to know any particular subject. Not skim.
-
You keep saying the same things, and are still wrong. Pizza is not unhealthy if you go to a place that makes it healthy. New York style pizza is a style, and thousands of places make it, and some are healthy, some aren't. You do not know nutrition, as your replies have shown. A person can make his own food, at home, or go to restaurants that cook healthy, instead of going to places that don't. I make Lasagne, with Parmesan, Mozzarella, and Ricotta cheese, part skim. I use good sauces, those I've known for many years and have yes, read the labels, or I make my own. I use Ronzoni or Barilla noodles, ground chicken and chicken sausage. Very healthy. If I want more flavor, I will use real Italian sausage and ground sirloin. Still not too heavy, and mostly healthy ingredients. I didn't say deep fried is healthy, so I'm guessing, like many, you skim over what people write, looking for things that don't match your opinions. Doesn't work, and isn't here.
-
I'm guessing you haven't had NY style pizza, from the NYC area, too many times? I've had it hundreds of times, and personally know many restaurant owners. How many burger joints have you gone to? I've also been to many, in many states and countries. Some use very good ingredients, some don't. And what is unhealthy about eating a hamburger bun once in a while? Nothing. Again, I'm not talking about fast food chains. I don't have to take a closer look at anything, as I have , again, been doing this for over 50 years and I read labels all the time.
-
Having no health problems for all of my life, low bodyfat, and one colonoscopy, at 68, which had no polyps, shows I've eaten healthy. Those foods can be healthy, period. I'm sorry you don't understand nutrition and need to post links of others opinions, when every nutritionist I've ever talked to, or read, has said the same things I just did.
-
I don't stop because what I say is right. Your opinions are noted, but also wrong. I never said anything about pizza here. I said pizza, along with the other things, can be healthy. I know what they put on pizza, and what's in burgers, both here and back home. Remember, I did say I've been doing this for over 50 years. That kinda gives you a little bit of knowledge on the subject. I didn't modify anything. Read my first reply to your question....................Can you break it down, explaining to me what makes New York style pizza healthy food...or in fact any of what you have mentioned other than the swordfish? ..........................Pizza has tomatoes and cheese, which are healthy. Added ingredients can be mushrooms, chicken, anchovies, pineapple, fish, veggies and other healthy ingredients. It's high calorie, but in moderation is fine. A cheeseburger, with lean beef, cheese, tomatoes, onion, lettuce and a good bun is also healthy if you don't load on anything else or bacon. Shrimp Scampi isn't too bad besides the oil, but the main ingredient is shrimp. Lasagne,......... noodles, sauce, cheese, all good things. Portion sizes is what hurts some people. Texas BBQ, lean, is just lean beef. You trim the fat, and it's just like a steak, and not use too much BBQ sauce. There are countless healthy dishes which people can ruin by adding too much oil, sugar or salt. It's mainly the sugars which hurt people, meaning refined and added sugars. Deep frying isn't healthy either, so that's always been off limits for me besides the very occasional piece. .................... I didn't say ALL pizza, burgers, lasagne, or Scampi. I said they CAN be healthy, depending on who makes them, myself included, along with countless other places I've eaten more than twice that cook healthy pizza, burgers, scampi et al. You assume they can't, for whatever reasons you might have. They all are healthy, IF you use the right ingredients.

Been in the game for over 50 years, certified trainer and many nutrition courses. If it's healthy, I will eat it. If not, rarely. I didn't say American cheese. You can make cheeseburgers with Emmenthal, cheddar, baby swiss, gruyere, mozzarella, (same on that pizza in NYC), Bleu, Fontina, and many other cheeses, which also can be used on pizza. Cheese is milk, a tad high in calories but not unhealthy. You don't have to load it on to have a cheeseburger. I have had healthy homemade buns in many burger joints, including two here in Sisaket province. A regular bun is like a roll anywhere. Many burger joints also use good, lean beef. I'm not talking McDonalds here. People get fat from adding too much sauce, sugar, salt, and fried foods. Not from basic ingredients. If you've been to more than a couple pizza places in the US, you would know it's not plastic cheese they use. I've been to hundreds of places in the US. The main cheese there is mozzarella. Anything else is just like the crapola they sell here.

The rich want to be richer, anywhere, and don't like others intruding on their power. They control the world, because it suits them and their cronies. They can easily raise the minimum wage to be at the cost of living, but have always hesitated. Their reasoning is it would lose some jobs, and higher costs for purchases by the businesses that had to up the wages. We could have free health care also. Too much is indeed spent on the military, which has enough weapons to level most countries already. You give to the poor, you take from the rich, and they don't want that happening.
