  1. That's my point. I have been making healthy suggestions. You don't have to load food with sauces. They are there to add al ittle flavor, not to overwhelm. Fatty burgers taste good, but so do lean burgers, if the beef is good quality. When I go home to Texas, and move there eventually, I eat BBQ without sauce. Just the meat and onions, along with some beans. Sauce isn't necessary. The same with steak. A1 is excellent steak sauce, but I only use it once in awhile. I prefer a steak grilled, plain.
  2. Google Anhedonia. It's a part of clinical depression, and you'll easily spot the symptoms if she has them. Been there. If she has this, it will take a lot of patience to stay, because it's in her hands, and if she disagrees with what she has to do, things will not improve and can get worse. Mood swings are not supposed to be extreme, and happen all the time. She's a little young for menopause., but it's possible . Medications can give a person mood swings also. Wanting to be back here is part of a depressed persons life as "normal". They need easy, routine things to just get by day to day. If she's sleeping a lot, likes to buy online a lot, gets angry easily, doesn't like to socialize with others, uses drugs or excessive drinking to feel good, these are symptoms of anhedonia, and depression. Good luck.
  3. A large majority of people here are never taught to swim as children. Care isn't something shown much here for the young. No one is going to jump in and help because most, if not all of those watching, can't swim themselves. This will continue forever here.
  4. If you actually read what I wrote, plus the links I provided, you would have seen this hours ago.
  5. https://www.beeflambnz.co.nz/the-quality-mark
  6. Just because you're in denial or can't fathom what the links say, doesn't mean they are not useful. You might want to read more and talk less, as I suggested earlier. It's a better way to learn things. Who said spending more was healthier? Not anyone I've seen here. You don't have to leave out the basic ingredients to have a tasty and healthy burger. You just have to leave some things out.
  7. Everything I mentioned can be made at home, and bought in most larger cities worldwide. New Zealand has excellent beef. Don't put insensitive in my replies as that's not me. I'm here to help. He stated he usually eats only junk food. I suggested better options. It's up to him to do what he wants. That's what advice is about. You can take it or leave it.
  8. This means you didn't actually read the links because they do have alternatives and ways to prepare a healthy burger. High quality ingredients in my thinking means healthy. The main one being the beef. I don't eat low quality beef, preferring Australian, Argentinian, Texan or Japanese, along with others I will eventually try. Now you're assuming you actually know thaibeachlovers personally, to know what he has or cooks with. Again, you're assuming you know what anyone does besides those that actually live with you. You don't.
  9. No, they are not. Obviously. Though I always did wonder why burgers are considered unhealthy, since they contained minced meat, tomato, onion and did not seem terribly unhealthy. Edited 1 hour ago by Cameroni That is @Cameroni agreeing with me and disagreeing with you. The way most people eat cheeseburgers isn't too healthy. I mentioned this before. You can make them healthy. I also mentioned this. You are nitpicking again, using one reply and leaving out the others. Take some time, take a breath, and read all of the posts. Then come back, maybe in a week, and realize what you missed.
  10. Where has anyone said everyone else is a narcissist? When you study about them, you can spot them very easily, and they are everywhere, including many in power. That's why they are there. They're sometimes called alpha males. The bane of society. Users, cheaters, exploiters, raised from childhood to hurt, intentionally, others. Everyone has some narcissistic tendencies. Just look at all the selfies people take. Some have a narcissistic disorder, or personality, and they are one huge reason the world is so screwed up. the opposite is en empath. One who cares about others and can put themselves in other's shoes. Always a good thing not to assume.
  11. I don't have to do anything but tell the truth, which is what I always do. First you say all of the foods I mentioned aren't healthy. Now all but burgers are okay in your eyes. Soon you'll realize how ridiculous you sound and maybe understand what I've been saying all along is easy for any teenager to comprehend, especially if they, google.
  12. Cameroni and Khunla have both proven you wrong. I have a friend that's reading all of this, a member, on the phone. He thinks you're a very disturbed , low self esteem narcissist that is very likely lonely and incapable of making friends.
  13. Are you actually reading and comprehending what I and others have been writing? Guess not, because two have. This is what you said earlier............ "No. The cheese they put on NY style pizza is not healthy. Can you point to anything that states that it is? You're whole assertion is quite ridiculous. Who make cheeseburgers with lean beef? More nonsense 😊 Good bun? Now you really are being silly. You should stop. Healthy means just that. Beneficial..................." Since then, I have shown they are healthy choices, if you make them the right way. Common sense seems to elude you. Mozzarella cheese isn't un healthy. You can use any beef you want to make burgers, and all beef is, by itself, healthy. Buns can be healthy if you, again, choose those that are. You still keep replying, after I have shown how they can be a healthy choice. The fact you are missing this shows you are just acting your normal way, being a troll that just likes to argue, even when proven wrong. You're getting very childish with this and showing everyone involved in this topic your true intentions. You have not proven me wrong, yet feel the need to go on and on, now saying you're in better shape than someone you've never met. Think for a second, for once.
  14. If God himself came into this conversation, he would say the same things. he's a troll, and he's proving it as I bait him in.We offer proof, he says nonsense.
  15. You are showing the narcissist with every reply.I'm baiting you and you aren't seeing this. Back to the facts. You asked me to show how those foods are healthy. I did this, others agreed. You don't know as much as you think you do. Thailand has value if you make things at home.,If you go out to eat, you can get those foods healthy in some places, IF you ask them how they prepare it. Facts, not your fiction.
  16. Here, just for you, since you don't know about recipes..........https://cafedelites.com/garlic-butter-shrimp-scampi/
  17. Keep telling that to yourself. You seem to not realize you're doing the same things, before I am lol
  18. Actually you said you were in better shape. I just disputed that, because i know how most people are. Doesn't mean all are that way of course, so I don't assume. I didn't say I'm great. All this is about is you asking me to tell you how those foods are healthy. I showed how. You don't comprehend.
  19. You must have dementia, because you forget things i wrote the same day. I already mentioned making all these things at home all along. Guess you're the skimming champ of AN.
  20. Assuming again, which is what a teenager does. You might be younger and more flexible.
  21. I'm 68 now, and don't lift what i did since age 62 because it isn't possible, or beneficial. I squatted 530 for reps, benched 365, deadlifted 650, pressed 225 for reps, so this alone makes more than 99% of people not there. Of course I can't do that now, but like everyone else, I did it before, and not that long ago. I squatted 225 for 35 reps, 315 for 15, and leg pressed 1100 lbs, If you could match those lifts, you're also in that fraction of 1 % category. My joints are the only thing I have a problem with, and it's because I lifted too heavy, full down, for too long. Now I train just to stay healthy, but still stronger than ,most I see in the gym I go to here.
  22. Like I said, he's a troll that just likes to argue, even after being proven wrong. This comes from a low self esteem, narcissism, or both, as they go together since childhood.
  23. You missed another thing I said. I trained many people, and given them diet advice, and those that stuck with it made improvements, stopped a few diseases from taking over, became stronger, and are still around, as I talk to many of them to this day. You thinking I'm lying is another form of narcissism, as they can't believe when others tell the truth, as their thinking is all that matters. You're on a sinking ship, and if you actually knew me, you would have never replied to anything I've written.
  24. Shrimp Scampi isn't always battered. Guess you missed that one. Did I say they were health foods? I said they can be healthy. What do you consider health foods, as I've been involved in this all these years, and probably been in more health food stores than you'll ever enter? I keep showing you how the foods I've described can be healthy, and you still don't get it.
