  1. Post Mortem Netflix. "She's back from the dead and has a newfound thirst for blood. Meanwhile, her family's funeral parlor desperately needs more business. Hmm, what if..." I don't often watch fictional series but gave this one a go and enjoyed all 6 episodes. Has English Subs 'n' Dubs (had 2 English subtitle options and changed it to 'British English' because it was more accurate to the dialogue.)
  2. Yesterday Netflix. A guy wakes up after an accident and quickly realises that nobody has ever heard of the Beatles. I quite enjoyed it and I've just been on google and found that the Beatles did actually exist.
  3. If you're on a marriage visa or extention and your wife dies, I think you'd be expected to leave Thailand asap similar to that if you get divorced while on a visa based on marriage. Something to bear in mind.
  4. As stated in 'Overstaying For Dummies in Thailand Volume 1.' Rule #1. Don't stay at address on TM card. ???? As far as I'm aware, if you're caught at home then you can pack some belongings. (but no laptops, cameras, mobiles, etc)
  5. Nice puns, now it's time to polish your delivery. Yeah, he should be on the stage. . . . . . . . preferably the first one out of town. ???? Boom Tish. ????
  6. I used a lady in Nana Plaza in the mid 90's for a while. She was supposedly a daughter of a top-cop and had someone take the passports to Penang, Malaysia for visas via Malay/Thai borders. At first only needed a copy of marriage paper, then years later had to also show wife's Thai ID card and in later years had to include a copy of a bank book page showing funds. I think it all came to a halt when a terrorist named Hambali got caught with fake border stamps obtained from a visa service place in Khao San Road. I knew plenty of guys who used the Swede to get visas from Penang but I've never heard of anyone getting visas or entry/exit stamps from Australia though. Somehow I can't see Aussie immigration officials and Thai Embassy/consulate staff being on the take.
  7. Wimps!! From day one a man has to lay down the law as to who the man of the house is. I told my wife early on in our marriage that I'm the one who says when I do the dishes, I'll do the hoovering when I decide to do the hoovering, etc, etc,. . . . . . . . . . .
  8. That poor guy in Khorat a few months on got around 2,000 pounds on a Gofundme page the last time I looked. He was about the same age and was stuck with hospital bills and his family back home trying to raise funds. This is one reason I want to see my final days back home in the UK. I don't fear death. It's the dying part I don't care for........especially if it's long, painful, slow and costly and inconveniences family.
  9. Maybe he borrowed the Porsche from the police station's tea lady. ????
  10. I thought I'd read somewhere that the funeral of the victim was very quick. So his body was kept since early August and only now a full autopsy has been done?
  11. My memory would have been better had there been working CCTVs on that particular day of the event. The footage would have re-inforced my memory retention abilities.
  12. And he shouldn't beat himself up over it. ????
  13. Some may find happiness if they pronounce it wrong.
  14. If Prayuth really wants to stamp out corruption then surely he should be rewarding or praising the junior officer for whistle blowing. It would encourage more to come out.
