    What kind of hack journalism is this. I think someone doesn't understand proper decimal placement. 40 billion baht divided by 14 means that each one averaged EIGHTY-SIX MILLION, NINE HUNDRED SEVENTY-SIX MILLION US dollars per trade. Anyone with that much liquid capital to invest wouldn't be taking random phone calls, and would have an army of lawyers, accountants, and advisors to handle their money.

    They can enter private property if they can see a crime happening in plain sight. This is a cornerstone of all law enforcement in every country that I'm aware of. In this case, they could clearly see people sitting around and gamble -or at least they thought it was gambling.

    Definitely just a misunderstanding! All three are upstanding members of the Nigerian Royal Family, and just waiting for their inheritances to clear a simple probate procedure. Perhaps if we all send them a few thousand $US each, it will help them get their money, and they will reward us with a chunk of their money! Who wants to create the gofundme?

    Hey, it was a mistake. The police apologised and left. That's what they're supposed to do. But I can't help but feel that some here wouldn't be happy unless the cops beat confessions out of everybody.

    Take another look at the top picture. Notice how much bark had been scraped-off of the tree. That car went into the tree sideways and probably caused extensive damage to the frame, effectively totalling the car. And, as the car has been abandoned, I'm guessing the engine or drive train were knocked-out as well.

    Yep. It's a ZU-23-2 = twin barrelled, 23mm autocannon. Introduced by the Soviet Union, but copied by China. While it was meant to be a short-range AA gun, the one you see here, in Africa, and in Ukraine, are mostly used against vehicles, light armor, buildings, and infantry. They can fire explosive shells which are devastating against infantry, even hidden in woods or buildings.

    I am communicating appropriately. I've used facts based on actual, real-world combat records. You jumped-in making wild claims based-on an obvious lack of understanding the subject. Or history. My assumption about what part of your body your claims comes from, stands.

    150k baht/month is £40k a year So how could you save £2.5 million making £40k year? And you are obviously young. And with only 70k subs?

    Really? And what are your qualifications to declare "All much better than F16"? Which block F-16s are you talking about? Do you know what " block" means and how much they affect the capabilities of a 50-year old design? The F-16, flown by all allies has a 76-1 record vs Russian/Soviet/Chinese jets, what records do the others have? ...or perhaps you are merely talking out of your backside?

    That's what I initially thought as well, but reading the article, a witness said he was having problems with his car and revving the engine for about 3-minute before he launched his car. Perhaps it's time for this gent to surrender his drivers license and go with public transport.

    Hmm, if brake fluid somehow finds its way onto the car body, it will strip the paint down to bare metal or plastic in as little as 10-minutes... That'd be terrible if it happened to these cars!

    I'm glad you don't run Singapore, because you'd turn it into another Thailand. The issue here is that someone tried to bribe 2 Singaporean law officers. It doesn't matter what initial contact was for. He could have gotten years.
