  1. Well, if my experience is anything to go by you should get an SMS the day after you registered. Let us know how it goes.
  2. Where did you register because the latest opportunity here in Pattaya is strictly for foreigners?
  3. Well, I'll bring my "skirt" with me on the off chance I suffer any side effects and become less capable of driving out car back home. Would that be acceptable to you? "I wonder if they need a skirt to go to 7-11 with them as well" Why don't you ask them as they pass you sitting outside nursing your Cheer beer?
  4. Registered yesterday on BPH's website and this afternoon got an SMS confirming an appointment tomorrow for a Pfizer jab in Central. I'm below 60 and with no underlying conditions. Had to fill in my hospital number though but might be possible to fill in with all zeros.
  5. Can I ask you which sites you've used to register on? I'm also under 60 an still waiting for anything at all vaccine wise.
  6. It's an information center run by Pattaya City. They will have/be able to obtain the information you need.
  7. Anyone that needs to find out where to register in Pattaya can call Pattaya Contact Center phone # 1337.
  8. Are you serious? Exactly what part of the vaccination roll-out in Thailand has given you faith in promises being made??
  9. I haven't been back to see my family for more than a year so that's my main reason for maybe going on a vaccination holiday. I could go back to my country of origin and get vaccinated but there's a long wait between the shots and I don't know if they would vaccinate my wife.
  10. I would like to start a thread about Covid-19 vaccination tourism. Since I'm a foreigner under 60 y/o with none of the underlying conditions that would qualify me for a vaccine at this point in time I seriously need to start looking at vaccination tourism for me and my Thai wife. Just started looking and so far have found the below link. They do offer Johnson&Johnson (single shot) vaccine so that would be a great solution. However, it would mean I would have to get a US visa for my Thai wife and I don't know how much of a hassle that's going to be. Please post here if you come across other vaccine destinations. Guam Visitors Air V&V "In collaboration with Guam’s tourism and medical partners, the Guam Visitors Bureau is proud to present Air V&V — a program for travelers interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine while vacationing in Guam. The Air V&V program offers visitors the administration of the vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson/Janssen), COVID-19 tests as need, and digital vaccination records."
  11. Quite right, but he was an elected leader and could be removed in an election. You can't do that with a junta.
  12. I support his right to be elected by the people of Thailand and oppose the autocrats who wanted him removed by force. To Thaksin; It seems the "invisible forces" are preparing for your return and I can only say welcome back! When you were the legally elected PM (twice elected in landslides) I cursed you and your corrupt administration loudly and frequently. However, you did implement some good policies, the constitution was the most democratic Thailand has ever had, the freedom of the press was greater that it's ever been and the poor were given a voice they'd never had before. Do I think you're a great choice for PM? Absolutely not. Do I prefer you to the current bunch of dinos? 100 %!
  13. The Thai people repeatedly voted into power a person you didn't like, Your answer; remove them in a coup. As I said; despicable.
  14. No point discussing with you as your vitriolic hate for Thaksin makes you a fanatic. Trump divided the US as no one before him and we have every reason to believe he was a criminal traitor. Do you think the US military should have removed him?
  15. Thailand is lagging far behind neighboring (and dirt poor) nations like Laos and Cambodia. If their vaccine strategy hadn't been flawed from the very beginning many more Thais (and foreigners) would have been vaccinated today. End of. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1226683/asia-coronavirus-covid-19-vaccination-rate/
  16. And for you the answer seems to be an acceptance of governments formed by the use of the military. Despicable.
  17. He divided the nation because for the first time many poor people (rightly or wrongly) felt that they were being listened to and that policies that benefitted them directly were being implemented. Of course, that sent the old elite and their minions into a state of panic and the result was a country further from a functioning democracy than before. You hatred of the guy is pathological if you can't see this.
  18. Prayut is definitively on the way out and the invisible hand is preparing for a Thaksin return. Better dust off your travelling boots, Steven!
  19. OK, I have thought about it and since Thais living in the country I come from all have had two shots of a good vaccine for free I chose to continue to complain about the s**t show that is the vaccination program here in Thailand. Does that make sense to you?
  20. Anyone else registered on this site? I just did after waiting for about 8 hours (just kept the browser window open). I did not accept my passport number so I put in my Thai ID number (which I got from paying tax here) and that did the trick.
  21. Oh, hahahahahah, 555555555555, LOLLOLLOL. That's SOOOO funny! You're a bit of a genius, aren't you.
  22. And I can see the whole country getting frustrated and annoyed with him. Time to go Uncle Too, far faaaaar away.
  23. Thankfully we all know who's in charge so who to blame and that person should resign. Don't you agree?
  24. Since discussing that would involve forbidden subjects "we people" wisely stay away from it so get off your high horse, "genius".
