Bhumjaithai Party leader-cum-Deputy Prime Minister-cum-Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, right, together with deputy Democrat Party leader-cum-Deputy Public Health Minister Sathit Pitutecha. Photo: Thai Rath By Thai Newsroom Reporters BHUMJAITHAI PARTY leader Anutin Charnvirakul today (Nov.17) categorically denied he had ever persuaded deputy Democrat Party leader Sathit Pitutecha to go party-hopping. Anutin who concurrently acts as deputy prime minister-cum-public health minister said he had never extended an informal invitation to Sathit who concurrently performs as deputy public health minister to join the second-largest coalition partner. Branding the Bhumjaithai Party as a “thriving” one, Anutin said his camp is currently run by a competent leadership and would have no executive position for Sathit who, he said, would have a promising future at the one to which he currently belongs. Daily News reporters went to the "go to" monk for religious comment after the Buddhist faithful were commenting in droves on posts coming from Nakhon Sawan. There a well known monk had been featured on a Facebook post by a second hand car dealer. Phra "Luang Poo Phat" was behind the wheel of a red sports car. Picture: Daily News An amulet/medal was struck with the car on the back to protect people from accidents. Phra Phayom - abbot of Wat Suan Kaew in Nonthaburi - said it was all highly inappropriate. Picture: Daily News Material possessions like this should not be associated with the monkhood and the Buddhist faithful should not be taking part in such activity. It was all highly irreligious and not what Buddhism stands for at all. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-11-17 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. The police have been trying to calm the situation between the warring neighbors. Tui and Kung, the married couple that along with others went to the Thai/Malaysian's house told a different side to the story. Kung said that her neighbors started all the trouble when they called her daughter an "ugly whore" (ee dork appalak). Then there was an incident when their children had an argument over a bicycle collision. Kung said she went round to the neighbors to apologize but they were not interested in listening. She was attacked by six of them first. Yes, it was 6 vs 1 and bottles were used in that attack. When her husband heard about this he reacted angrily resulting in the 10 vs 1 attack. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-11-17 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. 23. Sanook Thai Caption: Leg amputation without permission A man who said he had his leg amputated without his permission has gone to the Lawyers' Council for action. The man went into hospital after having a problem with an injury to his left foot. He was admitted and the wound was treated in a surgery and he stayed in hospital for seven days. But things did not improve and he was presented with a permission form for further surgery to his foot. He signed thinking nothing of it. He woke up to find that his left leg had been amputated just below the knee, reported Sanook. There had been no clause in the release form to suggest that such drastic action would be taken. He told lawyers that that had been added afterwards by doctors to cover their tracks. He claimed they had been negligent. Also public prosecutors had failed to take action in the case. Dr Wichian Chupthaisong took up the case on behalf of the victim who wants to sue the hospital. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-11-17 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m.
