Sanook Thai Caption: Gallstones caused by coconut milk Sanook reported widespread netizen interest in a post by a woman on TikTok after she had surgery to remove five gallstones. It was posted under the name voucherclubhotdeal. The lady said she had had stomach pains and bloating and pains around her right ribs. She said she had always loved to eat "kathi" or coconut milk and other fatty stuff. Kathi is a component of many Thai foods such as creamy curries and the iconic Mango and Sticky Rice that is covered in the stuff. Posters related their own stories and symptoms. Online information suggests that gallstones can form when there is too much cholesterol in the diet and not enough bile salts, though there is still doubt about why they occur, notes ASEAN NOW. Abdominal pain and pain under the right side of the ribs are telltale signs you may have a problem that can be confirmed with an ultrasound. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-08-19 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. The data released by the advertising intelligence firm Nielsen, has come out to state that the government of Thailand is among the top 15 highest spender in advertising in Thailand over the past 6-months. The woman is a female soldier and the employer is the wife of a well known senator. Nobody was named in the graphic Daily News story. The victim told police how she had met her employer who is a female police officer and allegedly the wife of a senator. Originally she had worked at the woman's coffee shop and her employer had helped her get a job in the military. After this she worked for her. All was okay for a year until her allegedly sadistic employer started assaulting her for every minor infringement. She would be slapped for not speaking nicely. Have her salary cut by 500 baht for breaking a cup or plate. She was made to hit herself until she bled. Picture: Daily News Her employer used a hair curling tong to burn her hand. She gave her electric shocks to the body, head and mouth saying she liked to inflict pain. A metal ruler was used on her. A club broke after one beating. She was not permitted to go and get stitches. She bears the scars to this day after the beatings and mistreatment that happened over a full two year period. In addition the employer took all her soldier's salary saying she was the one who got her the job in the first place, it was further alleged. She produced evidence of this with payslips. In addition it was claimed that the employer threatened to abduct her parents and others and hurt them. She said she was like a slave to her 24/7 having to massage her at bedtime. Daily News did not mention that the police were investigating, leaving the reader hanging. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-08-19 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. By Erich Parpart Thailand’s economy could face some headwinds from the volatile global economy and the lower purchasing power of Thai household despite the Thai economy starting to witness benefits from the higher number of tourists as the country opens to tourism, World Bank’s new country manager told Thai Enquirer. “Despite the negative impacts of higher energy prices and rising inflation, consumption will be supported by increased mobility and demand for consumer goods,” said Fabrizio Zarcone the incumbent country head of World Bank said. “However, rising food and fuel prices will erode household purchasing power and threaten food security, especially among low-income households given the large share of food spending in their household budgets,” he said.
