  1. Perhaps there a Pokemon character called Flixia the Strangled Cat I don't know about then. You can hear my partner from 2 blocks away when she's on the phone. Busy churning out a rapid stream of high pitched Thai words that sound like 15 pairs of fingernails scraping down a blackboard.
  2. Well that's messed up my Valentines day. I had planned to go out with a group of my teenage friends loaded with drugs and knuckledusters; beat up some tourists then race my mates through the streets Pattaya to the bar on the other side of town to get drunk. So i will have to settle taking my girlfriend out for a romantic meal instead. Damn it!!
  3. Bit like getting a Thai divorce...
  4. Not very good I am told Unless you like having your butt hole used as the prison jizz repository
  5. That's for a John to ascertain and make sure of. Its a tough one as some Thai girl look younger than they are and some young girls look older.. If in doubt, don't go near it. The excuse that she looked over 18 does not wash I'm afraid. If you don't want to spend a long time in prison and be labelled as a sex offender for the rest of your life, check government issued ID and make absolutely sure of It. You have to be the one who protects yourself. No one else is going to do it
  6. Drink it. If it tastes like skimmed milk it is skimmed milk. If you die it's probably not.
  7. More chilled than using a Taser I suppose. The take down probably took between 30-120 mins.
  8. The economy version
  9. Sorry, I meant 500ml... My mistake... metric
  10. They all look totally encouraged. Best of all is the brown paper bags they all have on their desk containing the bung for turning up. Go figure
  11. Well that's OK then. A pint sized Thai girl has the strength to hold a lion back. Totally safe Let's hope it wises up and eats her. One less idiot in the gene pool.
  12. Anyone who is stupid enough to walk around displaying wealth in a country that has many desperate people scratching a basic living is a fool. He's lucky to get away with a simple theft. If he was taking $8000 to the bank he would not wear it round his neck in a see-through bag with a quick release clasp at the back of his neck.. Plonker
  13. Spot on, and injuries may be to the systemic nerves, heart or brain function. You can't see them.
  14. You can always book mobility assistance. I do that if the airport might have long immigration queues or if i'm in transit in a big airport like Schiphol or Chicago. Normally I book it for all nearly all flights but mostly for USA, Bangkok, LHR flights, or transits through Schiphol or Dubai airports. You get boarded first and on arrival go straight to the front of the immigration queue and then dropped off to collect your bags. You are free to roam the airport for shopping during transits or boarding. People don't realise mobility assistance is not just for the ancient, pregnant and disabled. Its also for people that can't deal with a possible long walk from plane to immigration or a 1 to 2hr stand in a queue. You can book mobility assistance without any questions of why from any airline. You don't have to have a physical impairment or disability. I'm simply getting on and cant cope with the same things I could when I was in my 20's. But I have no physical impairment but struggled walking for 45 mins, standing for an hour in an immigration queue and then waiting for my bags without being able to sit down to rest. I wished I used it earlier. Now I'm off the aircraft and out in about 25 mins and I get to sit during the whole process.
  15. Take over his apartment
  16. Its called insurance. Its protection incase you become the 1%. It's a risk protection. If you choose not to cover that risk it is your choice but people shouldn't come crying when lightning strikes and they suddenly realise they did need it. Hopefully it never comes to that but I can tell you that should the risk materialise you will thank God you did have that cover. The peace of mind it brings is worth the money. if you want to spin the roulette wheel of health don't be surprised if the ball lands in 0 and you lose your shirt and then discover there's no toilet paper too.
  17. Very disrespectful thing to do in Thailand. I would never That means you are standing on the Kings face. You can get into a heap of trouble for that. The soles of your feet are deemed really dirty and offensive here. Then putting them on the Kings face on a bank note is even worse. Tread carefully my friend (no pun intended), that could get you into some very hot water.
  18. I have a range of Pacsafe items. Back pack, shoulder bag, wallet and man bag. Now they are available for less than $100. A small investment compared to $9500. Its a pity people have to wait till something is gone to realise how easy stuff is to steal from the unwary. You should take action now to buy the travel gear that makes you less of a target. But to be honest even these devices don't work if you take things out and leave them on the seat next to you or in your pocket. You are not safe even in a car. An open car window is no protection from a mobile snatch and grab. Make yourself security wise before it happens not after. I see so many people with their phones and wallets in their back pockets. Or filming from their phone out of an open car window. One second and they're gone. Also accounts like Revolut and Wise allow you to use cards and take out currency when you need it at the base exchange rate. They are linked to your mobile GPS so if your not nearby they can't be used. Carrying cash in no longer a necessity. He will have learnt a lesson. An expensive one but a memorable one. You cannot close the stable door after the horse has bolted.
  19. Didn't see that coming. Thailand has done an excellent job in scaring the Chinese to death about what will happen to them if they do come. Thailand is no longer a tourism powerhouse with all the scams and rip offs, and TAT is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.
  20. A crime free location is normally a prerequisite for tourists not a special exception. Stating that they have a problem that is out of control does not generate confidence and will not help with their tourism strategy.
  21. If they are not from Play Store the Google restore will not reload them. You might be able clone them across using a Clone app from the Play store or simply side load them if you have the APK's. However APK's from Android 6 Apps are unlikely to be best suited for Android 13 if at all. Best bet is to download and install the latest versions. https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-sideload-install-android-app-apk/
  22. Look like the truth is out there h ttps://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-67305693
  23. You'd have thought he'd have grown up by now. As to this According to the woman, her foreign husband went out to check on the incident and found the damaged bicycle. Believing that his nephew had been struck by the pickup, Danny exclaimed, “<deleted>!” This exclamation was misconstrued by the Thai man as a complaint directed towards him, igniting the exchange that unfolded in the video. I think they missed out a few words.. "..ing Thai Pr**t" Nobody starts a fight over the word F**k only. Unless you are a woman and it has a question mark after it. I believe that is part of an Australian chat up line though. "Good morning Sheila, fancy a f**k? (no!!) Well do ya mind lying down while I have one then?"
  24. Not the sharpest tool in the box. Just missing a copy of her passport showing the expired tourist visa and info on the size of handcuffs she normally takes, to help complete her Come Arrest Me page
  25. I'm all for femininity. Love this look. It's chic, traditional and stylish, Fed up with Airlines like United where they employ aging battle axes and dress them like prison guards. Long may gender style fashion diversification continue to return. PS Wouldn't fly with the airline though despite this new found style and beauty, Once was enough. I always fly Lynx Jet
